Abstract

The aim of researching the application of behavioristic learning theory in thematic learning is to explore how the principles of behaviorism can be used to enhance the effectiveness of thematic learning. This research aims to examine the various ways in which behavioristic learning theory can be applied in the classroom setting, and to identify the benefits and limitations of using behaviorism in thematic learning. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The location chosen by the researcher is MI Miftahul Ulum Sumberwuluh Candipuro Subdistrict, Lumajang Regency. This research uses qualitative descriptive data analysis with an interactive model according to the theory of Miles, Hubermen and Saldana. The result showed the teachers often provide stimulus to students in the learning process. Teachers also often ask questions to students as a reinforcement of the material studied, so teachers often reinforce the material presented. Assessment carried out by class II teachers in thematic learning class II at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Theme 4 Sub Theme 4 Learning to 2 in the form of daily assessments which include several aspects, namely attitude, knowledge and skills assessment.

Abstract

Kepala sekolah dan guru diharapkan harus bisa meningkatkan kinerjanya dan meningkatkan kemampuannya sesuai dengan bidangnya masing-masing. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan oleh seorang kepala madrsah dalam berupaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan diantaranya adalah membentuk struktur kepengurusan dalam pelaksanaan program, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang tegas, luwes, bijaksana dan menjadi panutan serta dapat mendorong, mempengaruhi dan memotivasi seluruh anggota dalam pengembangan mutu dan mengatasi semua masalah yang ada dari program sekolah hingga mencapai tujuan bersama dan dapat dipercaya oleh golongan masyarakat. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini, 1. untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kepala sekolah  dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, 2. untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen perencanaan, pengorganisasian, untuk pelaksanaan dan 3.  mengetahui hasil manajemen kepala madrsah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMK Nurul Qarnain Sukowono Jember. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang menghasilkan data naturalistik berupa penjelasan yang bersifat alamiah. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan metode analisisnya menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan reflektif tingking. Sedangkan penyajian datanya dengan menarik sebuah kesimpulan. Dan keabsahan data menggunakan validitas dan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan transformatif kepemimpinan  dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dimulai dari penyusunan suatu rencana untuk mengubah status qou dan mewujudkan visi misi dengan cara mengejahwantahkan visi pada bawahannya dan menanamkan nila-nilai yang dapat membawa perubahan ke arah pengembangan lembaga pendidikan. Pengorganisasian transformatif kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dilakukan dengan cara membentuk struktur kepengurusan dalam pelaksanaan program. Sedangkan pelaksanaan transformatif kepemimpinan  dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan diterapkan dengan meningkatkan kemampuan secara maksimal dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran yang meningkatkan mutu pendidikan serta meningkatkan kinerja sesuai bidangnya masing-masing. Adapun hasil dari transformatif kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan ialah unggulnya pengelolaan pembelajaraan yang efisien serta melahirkan peserta lulusan yang berprestasi.

Abstract

This study aims to explore conflict management strategies and organizational behaviour within educational institutions, specifically focusing on the role of school principals in addressing conflicts between teachers and staff. The research addresses the pressing need for effective conflict resolution in school environments to uphold organizational goals and foster a conducive learning atmosphere. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, the study utilizes observation, interviews, and documentation as primary data collection methods. Through direct observation and interviews with key stakeholders, the research delves into the intricacies of conflict resolution strategies employed by school principals. The study identifies conflicts between teachers and educational staff stemming from disputes over values, interests, and perceptions. Principals adopt collaborative strategies, including coaching and mediation, to resolve conflicts and promote mutual understanding among conflicting parties. However, resistance from individuals driven by personal agendas hinders conflict resolution efforts. Limitations are acknowledged, particularly in areas with restricted technologies, such as some educational institutions in developing countries. These limitations may affect the implementation of conflict resolution strategies and organizational behavior management. This study contributes to the literature by providing insights into effective conflict management strategies within educational settings. By highlighting the pivotal role of school principals and exploring innovative approaches to conflict resolution, the research offers practical implications for enhancing organizational dynamics in schools. Future research could further explore the impact of cultural and contextual factors on conflict management strategies and investigate novel approaches to mitigate conflict in diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

The difference between the intellectual tradition of the pesantren and other forms of education is the existence of the sanad. From the perspective of Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauzy, sanad can be said to go beyond thecologicalal linearity of Islamic knowledge which is commonly called ‘ilm jally. Not only that, Imam Syafi'i once said that if knowledge is not memorized by the sanad in the book then the Zindiq people will preach in the pulpit. The famous saying of Imam Abdullah bin Mubarak says, and is part of religion, without sanad surely people will say whatever they want. Even advanced sanad (ittishal al-sanad) is one of the conditions for the validity of a hadith as described in the musthalahul hadith book. For this reason, hadith expert scholars (al-muhadditsin) pay great attention to sanad in their disciplines. Most of this muhadditsin write special books about sanad. In its development, not only about the study of hadith, all scientific enthusiasts, book history, and scientific genealogy through teachers and students are written in a book known as tsabat. In the context of scientific knowledge, it can then be traced to the products of his thought. For this reason, the author wants to provide a re-description, of how true the thinking of native Indonesian (archipelagic) scholars is in the context of building an existing national attitude

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to explore the implementation of child-friendly schools as an effort to prevent bullying behavior at SD Darus Sholah Jember. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was done through observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of child-friendly schools at SD Darus Sholah Jember is manifested in various aspects, including the enforcement of discipline without violence, educational affirmation, the search for children who have not been reached by education, commitment to freedom from narcotics, psychotropic substances, and addictive substances, school security from disasters, guaranteeing the protection of students' rights to worship according to their respective religions, and implementing a child-friendly curriculum. The findings confirm the important role of schools as safe, inclusive and supportive environments for children's development. The implications of this study can be used as a basis for developing more effective educational policies and practices in preventing bullying behavior and creating a conducive learning environment for all students. Further research can be in-depth on the factors that influence the successful implementation of child-friendly schools and the evaluation of their impact on students' well-being. Abstract

The independent curriculum is a post-pandemic curriculum dream where the learning crisis is a multidimensional problem that cannot be solved by curriculum changes alone. The learning crisis can only be overcome by systemic changes. And that is what the Ministry of Education and Culture is now doing through a series of Merdeka Belajar policies in the independent curriculum. It has several principles, one of which was flexibility. This means that the school can implement this curriculum based on the environment. But this curriculum was very new when implemented by the teacher. The purpose of this study is to conceptually describe the Merdeka curriculum which is gradually implemented in MI Unggulan Nuris in grades 1 and 4 and will be implemented nationally in 2024. Descriptive qualitative research method of field research type is used as a research method. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the research results, this curriculum can be applied in various fields. One teacher who prepared the independent curriculum attended training on curriculum for educational institutions. Based on interviews with teachers at Nuris Jember's madrasah ibtidaiyah, they responded enthusiastically to this curriculum although there are still shortcomings in its application. We hope that this implemented curriculum can achieve the goals in education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk menggali kompleksitas pengelolaan rantai pasok halal, dengan fokus pada pedagang kaki lima dan UMKM di Jember, Jawa Timur. Dengan dilakukannya relaksasi untuk mereka terkait dengan jaminan produk halal hingga 17 Oktober 2026, masih tersedia lumayan cukup waktu untuk dilakukan gerilya kepada kelompok pengusaha yang masih diberi tenggang waktu oleh negara untuk dikenakan sanksi hukumnya. Sertifikasi halal saat ini menjadi faktor penting dalam UMKM, terutama pada produk makanan dan minuman. Kepada para pedagang kaki lima dan UMKM di Jember itu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya jaminan produk halal dan sertifikasi halal, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan nilai jual produk serta minat beli dari konsumen. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, tutorial, dan diskusi untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa para pedagang kaki lima dan UMKM di Jember tersebut sekarang semakin memahami pentingnya sertifikasi halal serta bersedia mempelajari semua prosedurnya. Melalui pendampingan langsung, departemen halal UIN KHAS Jember memberi pendampingan di dalam mengurus sertifikasi halalnya, dengan harapan akan semakin meningkatkan minat dan kepercayaan konsumn. Sehingga mampu memberikan dampak positif langsung dan tidak langsung kepada kesejahteraan masyarakat di Jember.

Abstract

Warung Tera' merupakan salah satu kuliner khas Jember dan mempunyai potensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai salah satu produk wisata kuliner di Jember mengingat sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor penyumbang devisa negara yang cukup besar bagi pembangunan daerah dan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun strategi pemasaran dalam upaya pengembangan wisata kuliner Warung Tera’ Jember sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas pengusaha kuliner tradisional di kota Jember. Dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan observasi terhadap pengusaha dan pengrajin kuliner, serta data sekunder dari instansi terkait dilakukan analisis IF/EF dan analisis SWOT. Pemasar destinasi wisata menghadapi kebutuhan baru untuk menyempurnakan dan menghubungkan branding pengalaman kuliner mereka dan strategi pemasaran untuk meraih pangsa pasar pariwisata yang besar. Artinya, destinasi wisata non-tradisional seperti Jember harus berupaya melakukan branding dan memasarkan diri agar mendapat arus wisatawan yang berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat dijadikan rekomendasi dalam pengembangan wisata kuliner di Jember sebagai upaya pemberdayaan pengusaha kuliner tradisional.

Abstract

       AbstractThis study aims to analyze the needs of developing E-LKPD based on Genially educational game in learning mathematics for grade III students at SDIT Ar-Rahmah Yosowilangun. The analysis stages include curriculum, learner, and teacher needs, as well as solution analysis. The research method used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The subjects of this study were third grade students of SDIT Ar-Rahmah Yosowilangun. The results showed that there is a clear need for the development of E-LKPD based on Genially educational game in learning grade III mathematics, due to the low motivation of students to learn. Analysis of curriculum needs indicates the need for innovative approaches to improve the quality of mathematics learning in accordance with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum. The analysis of learners highlights the internal and external factors that influence their interest in mathematics, while the analysis of teachers shows the need for support and facilitation in developing innovative learning materials. Thus, this study suggests the need for the development of E-LKPD based on the Genially educational game as a solution to increase the learning motivation of grade III students. By utilizing technology and interactive learning approaches, it is expected to create a dynamic and interesting learning environment for students. In addition, the results of this study can be the basis for developing learning strategies that are more effective and relevant to the needs of students in today's digital era.Keywords; E-LKPD, Educational Games, Genially, Mathematic LearningAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis game edukasi Genially dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk peserta didik kelas III di SDIT Ar-Rahmah Yosowilangun. Tahapan analisis meliputi kebutuhan kurikulum, peserta didik, dan guru, serta analisis solusi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III SDIT Ar-Rahmah Yosowilangun. Analisis kebutuhan kurikulum mengindikasikan perlunya pendekatan inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Analisis terhadap peserta didik menyoroti faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi minat mereka terhadap matematika, sementara analisis terhadap guru menunjukkan kebutuhan akan dukungan dan fasilitasi dalam pengembangan materi pembelajaran yang inovatif. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis game edukasi Genially sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas III. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif, diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang dinamis dan menarik bagi peserta didik. Abstract

The initiation of reading stands out as a fundamental skill for students, serving not only as a foundational ability but also as a tool to comprehend the acquired knowledge during their school learning journey. This activity is specially designed for students entering elementary school, playing a pivotal role in their academic development. The syllabic (silaba) method, designed as a syllable-based approach, dissects words into syllables and subsequently reassembles them into complete words. The primary objective is to assist students who encounter difficulties in reading to better grasp and understand words.The primary objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the syllabic method in enhancing the initial reading activities of Class II students at MI AL-Ma’arif 02 jombang-jember. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, this research was conducted at Banjarsari 01 Elementary School, situated in Banjarsari Village, Ciawi District, Bogor Regency. A qualitative approach was employed throughout the study, and an interview guide instrument served as the primary tool for data collection. The study incorporated various data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique employed in this study was an interactive approach, aligning with the model proposed by Milles and Huberman. The findings of this study suggest that the syllabic method is indeed an effective approach for initiating reading activities, significantly aiding Class II students at MI AL-Ma’arif 02 jombang-jember in developing their reading skills. Additionally, the syllabic method is considered beneficial for teachers, providing a straightforward and easily comprehensible instructional medium for facilitating learning activities. The required instructional materials for teachers using the syllabic method are both simple and universally understood by students. Notably, the utilization of the syllabic method in the beginning reading activities for Class II students aligns with the specified criteria for the achievement of students' reading activities
