Abstract

This research has the objectives to:(1)know the application of Team Assisted Individualization Model with Reciprocal Teaching approach at learning Mathematics 8th Grade on the State Junior High School 13 Malang. (2) Determine students' learning activities on learning mathematics by using the Team Assisted Individualization Model with Reciprocal Teaching approach (3)Determine students learning outcomes in mathematics learning using Team Assisted Individualization Model with Reciprocal Teaching approach.The approaches used in this study are qualitative and descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted at State Junior High School 13 Malang on July 22, 2013 until August 20, 2013. The Subjects in this study is Team Assisted Individualization model (TAI) with Reciprocal Teaching approach, whereas the objects of this study are the eighth grade students of Junior high school 13 state of Malang. The instruments used in this study were the form of teacher and students observation sheet activities. Whereas, the learning outcomes while students individually or classical is by providing questions test to the students in the form of description while the implementation of learning Team Assisted Individualization Model with Reciprocal Teaching Approach. Begins with a brief description of the teacher followed by break out the groups where each groupshave to learn the material that has been given then split them from each member of the groups in charge of any such role summarizer,questioner,clarifier, and predicor. After the group has split, students have to discuss to resolve a given problems on a given sheet of material.The results showed that: (1) the application of the method of Team Assisted Individualization with Reciprocal Teaching approach in the learning of mathematics has been performing well in accordance with the sintak that has been planned. (2) Students’ activities in the context area of learning math by using Team Assisted Individualization model (TAI) with Reciprocal Teaching as approach have category well. However, there are indicators on the oral activity of expression activities that students are still less well done that is equal to 49.79 % and (3) the learning outcomes of students in learning mathematics using Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) with Reciprocal Teaching approach demonstrate mastery level of 77.5 % with average gained 75.25 for students.

Abstract

Chatting adalah salah satu bentuk komunikasi yang sudah lazim digunakan antara mahasiswa dan dosen. Komunikasi tersebut sebaiknya tetap terjaga dengan batas-batas nilai kesantunan, walaupun dituturkan dalam situasi semiformal. Kehadiran sosial media sebagai perkembangan teknologi ikut mempengaruhi komunikasi antara mahasiswa dan dosen. Penelitian ini meneliti “Bagaimana kesopanan mahasiswa dalam chatting terhadap dosen?”. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis dan mendeskripsi strategi kesopanan dan kesantunan berbahasa yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa ketika chatting dengan dosen melalui WhatsApp. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah chatting WhatsApp. Adapun data penelitian yaitu tuturan mahasiswa dalam chatting sebagai alat komunikasi dengan dosen. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan pengamatan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan analisis data bahwa penelitian ini menemukan masih banyak tuturan mahasiswa kepada dosen dalam chatting yang belum memenuhi nilai kesantunan. Dengan demikian, peneliti menyimpulkan kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa STKIP Harapan Bima tentang strategi kesopanan dalam chatting terhadap dosen.

Abstract

The method used was focus group discussion (FGD) and a questionnaire. The aim of conducting an FGD is to seek in-depth information regarding the implementation of the training that has been carried out. Meanwhile, the questionnaire given aims to determine the level of understanding felt by the training participants. The final results will determine the success of the activities that have been carried out. The method for implementing this service activity is UKBM development training based on local cultural characters. At the end of the mentoring activities, an evaluation is carried out to determine the achievements of the implementation of the community partnership program. Implementation achievements can be seen from several indicators: (1) understanding of UKBM (2) skills in creating digital UKBM based on local cultural characteristics (3) ability in developing UKBM, with an increase of more than 60%. From the results of the questionnaire analysis, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in teachers' understanding of the importance of using technology in learning by 52%, an increase in skills in making digital UKBM based on local cultural characters by 55%, and an increase in the ability to make learning tools by 63%. This is in accordance with the goal to be achieved, namely an increase of more than 50%. Apart from that, the team also provided a questionnaire on the level of teacher satisfaction with the implementation of the training. The questionnaire contains 6 closed questions using 4 Likert scales, namely disagree, agree, strongly agree and very much agree. The results of the teacher satisfaction level questionnaire regarding the implementation of the training showed that 75% of teachers agreed that the material was easy to understand, 10% said they strongly agreed, 10% said they strongly agreed, and 5% disagreed. Some teachers are new to and know how to use the Ispring suite. Meanwhile, 80% agreed that they wanted to apply the results of this training to learning, 10% said they strongly agreed, and 10% strongly agreed.

Abstract

tujuan dari penelitian ini meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran sehingga menghasilkan proses pembelajaran yang menarik dan membangun motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Materi pokok pelatihan pada kegiatan ini yaitu: (1) Metode Pembelajaran Jigsaw; (2) Metode pembelajaran Role Playing; (3) Metode Pembelajaran Maind Mapping; (4) Model Problem Based learning; (5) Model Contextual Teaching ang Learning. Hasil pengabdian ini dapat dilihat melalui kegiatan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan wawancara dan tanya jawab serta pengamatan secara langsung selama kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh selama kegiatan ini berlangsung yaitu dapat memberikan dampak sebagai berikut: (1) Meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pemhaman guru tentang penerapan model dan metode pembelajaran; (2) Meningkatnya keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan model dan metode pembelajaran. Adapun dalam pengabdian ini ada beberapa faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang mempengaruhi hasil dari kegiatan.

Abstract

Floods are a natural disaster that frequently occurs in Indonesia. Disaster prevention measures and flood simulation and guidance are still less applied in other cities except for major cities, resulting in a low level of human safety. From the data obtained, many casualties and significant material losses were suffered by flood victims. Floods usually occur during the rainy season, but no one knows when and where they will happen. This study applies data mining techniques with association rules using the apriori algorithm to understand the patterns and association rules of flood events in Indonesia. The data were taken from the official website of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) from 2014-2016 and analyzed using the R program. The association analysis results showed that "if there is flooding due to all survival factors, then there is a possibility of flooding in Cileunang" with support 38.7%, confidence 64.4%, and lift 1.0347319. Meanwhile, "if there is flooding in Cileunang, then there is a possibility of all surviving" with support 38.7%, confidence 64.4%, and lift 1.0347319.
