Abstract

After being hit by the Covid 19 pandemic, Indonesia is still trying to rise from the economic downturn, especially with the many paralysed microbusinesses. Perspective updates have also weakened because of activity restrictions during the pandemic. Before the pandemic, the macro film industry was rapidly growing. Now, it is the turn of the microfilm industry to rise due to new ways of promotion without incurring expensive production costs. The role of sustainable marketing is needed to achieve this target for 2023. The Systematic Literature Review was used as the methodology to analyse the data in this research. The results show that the influencer marketing industry and the influencer agencies depend on social media.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify effective sustainable marketing strategies for marine ornamental fish. The research was conducted in South Sulawesi waters over a 6-month period, from September 2022 to March 2023. Primary data were obtained through interviews with fishermen groups and related parties, such as traders/collectors, TPI officers, and Marine and Fisheries Agency officers. The data included the condition of marketed products, fish marketing system, and description of marketing channels in South Sulawesi waters. The analysis method used is descriptive method. One of the indicators used to measure marketing efficiency is ornamental fish price data, by comparing the price received by producers/fishermen with the price paid by final consumers (farmers' share). The results of this research are expected to provide guidance in developing sustainable marketing strategies that can increase the economic value and sustainability of the marine ornamental fish industry. The implications of this research are also expected to contribute to efforts to conserve marine ornamental fish resources in Indonesia., Key words: marine ornamental fish, marketing strategy, sustainability, South Sulawesi waters.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to estimate and analyze the availability of Angel fish (Pomacanthus sp.) based on the coral diversity conditions in the Spermonde waters of Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi. The research method was based on parallel sampling of fish abundance (visual census) and coral cover percentage (Point Intercept Transect) at the study sites, namely Liukang Tumppabiring and Liukang Tangaya waters. The results showed that Liukang Tuppabiring had a fish abundance of 0.00005 individuals per square meter with a standing stock of 138 individuals, while Liukang Tangaya had a fish abundance of 0.005 individuals per square meter with a standing stock of 35,121 individuals. The abundance of Angel fish did not correlate positively with live coral cover, but its presence was influenced by the structural growth forms of the coral, namely branching, submassive, and massive coral in crevices. The production status of Angel fish in the Spermonde waters has exceeded the maximum sustainable yield (MSY). Therefore, additional fishing efforts would decrease the production of Angel fish. This indicates that the Angel fish has been overfished, which can affect its supply. In addition, the inverted curved supply curve indicates a decreasing supply, even with increasing fish prices, as it is suspected that the stock is decreasing.

Abstract

The development of Integrated Coral Transplantation and Restoration Technology for Marine Tourism is a program aimed at increasing community creativity through the planned, high-quality replanting of coral reefs sustainably. The method involves dividing coral reefs into slices ready to be planted on ecological edges that form artificial coral reefs, which are then placed underwater to make them older than natural coral. This technology can be developed through community projects for sustainable cultivation and tourism. Its goal is to increase the quantity and quality of decorative coral reef resources and marine tourism and accelerate the recovery of damaged coral reef ecosystems caused by destructive fishing practices. By developing innovative ideas, products can be marketed to industries and communities.

Abstract

Coral reefs are marine biota that reproduce by budding and fertilization, making them natural resources aquarium consumers in Europe, America, and Asia are very interested in. Since Indonesia is the largest tropical nation producing sponges, there is an increasing need for imported products. Consequently, it may be inferred whether marketing can be carried out effectively as planned or targeted in accordance with the targets that the organization has established. This study uses descriptive qualitative analysis to investigate the marketing strategies and efficiency of Akropora decorative corals (Acropora sp) at PT. Agung Aquatic Marine in Badung, Bali. Additionally, PT. Agung Aquatic Marine's marketing efforts are deemed successful because the business's target may be met and ornamental coral sales keep rising each month. In addition, the marketing carried out by PT Agung Aquatic Marine is considered effective because the sale of ornamental corals continues to increase every month and can achieve the company's target.

Abstract

The supervision of students, particularly those with special needs, is predominantly carried out by schools. However, due to the busy schedules of many parents, continuous monitoring of their children's development at school is often limited. Typically, parents only receive information about their child's learning progress once a semester, during the distribution of report cards. This delayed communication highlights the need for a more efficient and timely system at SLB C YPPLB 2 Makassar to provide parents with ongoing updates about their child's development. This study aims to design and implement an information system for monitoring the development of children with special needs at SLB C YPPLB 2 Makassar City. The system is intended to facilitate direct and real-time communication between the school and parents, enabling parents to monitor their child's progress actively.
