Abstract

Public speaking is an essential skill for teachers in the field of education. The ability to speak confidently and effectively in front of an audience can significantly influence the quality of teaching and interaction with students. However, many teachers face challenges when speaking in public, such as anxiety, fear of negative evaluation, and lack of self-confidence. These issues often hinder teachers from delivering content effectively, which ultimately impacts the learning process in the classroom. This study aims to examine the application of NLP in improving teachers' public speaking skills. Various NLP techniques are expected to help overcome anxiety, enhance self-confidence, and improve teachers' communication in front of the classroom. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study design to analyze relevant literature on the application of NLP in the context of public speaking. The findings indicate that NLP techniques have significant potential in helping teachers improve their public speaking skills. Techniques such as anchoring assist teachers in managing anxiety, rapport building improves relationships with students, and reframing changes negative mindsets into more positive ones. The state management technique allows teachers to manage and alter their emotional states, while submodalities enable them to change their mental representations of speaking situations, thus creating more positive feelings and boosting self-confidence. Additionally, techniques like modeling and well-formed outcome provide clear guidance for improving speaking skills and setting measurable goals in teaching. By mastering these techniques, teachers can overcome various communication challenges, enhance interaction with students, and ultimately create a more productive and enjoyable learning experience.

Abstract

Character education aims to make students as the nation's successors have good morals and morals, to create a just, safe and prosperous national life. Education is one of the factors that has an important role in the formation of the character of the Indonesian nation. In the era of transformation of the independent curriculum, of course there are several new policies. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. As for data collection using observation, interview, and documentation methods, the use of data analysis in this study used the Miles and Huberman models. In this analysis using several stages of one data collection two data reduction three data presentation and the final stage is drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: 1). The implementation of the merdeka curriculum at SDN Mentosari is implemented in the 2022/2023 academic year, namely in phase A for grade one and in phase B for grade four. This curriculum gives freedom to schools to explore their abilities 2). How to explore character values ​​using a personality (psychological) and collective (social) approach. Where the personality approach is used independently and alternately for each student, while the collective approach 3). Strategies in instilling character values ​​at Mentosari Elementary School through exemplary, social action, habituation and programmed (Serbuk Basna and Prodaq).

Abstract

Madrasah organizational culture is a system of shared meaning held by members that distinguishes one madrasah from another. Madrasa Organizational Culture is carried out by all members in it, starting from Teachers, Employees, Students, to School Committees, because madrasas are a system. The application of Madrasah Organizational Culture is applied to students starting from students attending MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo until they go home. This certainly affects the formation of discipline and religious students. This study used a qualitative method that is descriptive analysis in nature. The subjects of this study were the Head of Madrasah, Waka Curriculum, and Students of MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo, while the object was the organizational culture of Madrasah Negeri 2 Wonosobo Madrasah. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation studies with data analysis techniques are qualitative data analysis. The results of the research conducted by the author are: 1) The ideal concept of Madrasah Organizational Culture is one that fits the needs and also the real conditions that exist in the Madrasah. In this case MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo adapts its Madrasah Organizational Culture to the situations and conditions in the school environment. 2) The efforts of the Madrasah head in shaping the organizational culture of the Madrasah can be structural and non-structural. 3) Factors Inhibiting the Formation of Madrasah Organizational Culture on Discipline and Religion of Students at MTs Negeri 2 Wonosobo, among others; First, the obstacles from students, namely the tendency of students to have a dynamic nature, because children of their age are indeed experiencing a period of development and exploration, which then creates a feeling of laziness. Second, the lack of support from parents. While the Supporting Factors include; First, awareness by all school members of the importance of Madrasah Organizational Culture. Second, full support from all stakeholders for the success of the program related to the madrasah organizational culture. Third, support from parents and society. Fourth, the use of the habituation method or habite rule. Fifth, a supportive environment. Sixth, facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research is to analyze the strategy of the madrasah principal in improving the professionalism and performance of teachers at MI Ma'arif Bendosari Sapuran. This paper is the result of descriptive qualitative field research with data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The research results show that the madrasah principal's strategy to improve teacher professionalism and performance at MI Ma'arif Bendosari Sapuran includes three steps: 1) Creating policies aimed at improving teacher professionalism and performance; 2) Placing teachers based on their background and expertise to ensure they are able to carry out their duties effectively and adapt easily; 3) Implementing punishment and rewards to encourage teachers to continue to improve discipline and maintain morale, because they are role models for their students. This strategy is implemented through the implementation of teacher training and development programs, placing prospective teachers according to their educational background, expertise, and experience, and giving reprimands to teachers who lack discipline. This implementation is supported by an adequate Madrasah IT system and the familiarity of the madrasah community. This strategy has implications for the ability of teachers to apply the knowledge gained during training and improve student achievement. Achievements show that all madrasah members have a high sense of responsibility and concern, thus making MI Ma'arif Bendosari Sapuran a leading madrasah and able to compete with other madrasahs in Wonosobo Regency

Abstract

This research focuses on the management of Islamic boarding school education implemented by the leadership and administrators of Manbaul Chikmah Kauman Sapuran Wonosobo. It aims to explore how educational management in Islamic boarding schools contributes to the development of students' entrepreneurial skills, including aspects of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and institutional initiatives. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing a case study design at Manbaul Chikmah Islamic Boarding School. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The information was processed through data collection, reduction, presentation, verification, and case analysis. Data credibility was ensured by reference checks, while dependability and confirmability were achieved through supervisory audits. The findings reveal that effective educational management fosters positive institutional change. Improvements occur through structured planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. These management practices are reflected in a responsive curriculum and learning model that align with students' real-world needs. Life skills development—comprising both soft and hard skills—is facilitated through extracurricular programs and entrepreneurship seminars. Activities include public speaking training (khitobah), recitation (tilawah), sewing workshops, and computer networking classes. As a result, students are able to apply these skills in real-world settings within the pesantren environment. Practical implementations include running a student cooperative, managing an Islamic bookstore, participating in a Hajj and Umrah bureau, and operating a tent rental business.

Abstract

This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) Wonosobo. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected through data reduction, presentation, verification, and within-case analysis. Data credibility was ensured through reference adequacy checks, while dependability and confirmability were achieved via supervisory audits. The findings reveal three key points: (1) The implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) is conducted in stages—habituation, development, and learning—with teachers playing a central role in fostering a reading culture among students; (2) Evaluation of GLS highlights both supportive and inhibiting factors, including library facilities and students' reading abilities, which significantly influence the development of reading habits; (3) Supporting factors include reading materials, reading corners, wall magazines, and reading posters, while obstacles include students’ lack of interest and the absence of dedicated library staff, resulting in suboptimal library use.

Abstract

The research focuses on Islamic religious education learning methods to improve the intellectual and spiritual intelligence of students at the Takhassus Al-Qur'an Vocational School. This research is a qualitative study using a case study approach. Data were collected in a natural setting as a direct source of data, namely from Islamic Religious Education teachers, and then analyzed descriptively. The findings show that the learning methods used in Islamic religious education at SMK Takhassus Al-Qur'an are highly varied, including: inquiry learning, discovery learning, nature contemplation, assignments, discussions, gallery walks, and practical work. This diversity has resulted in improving students' intellectual intelligence. This success is reflected in the students' increased ability to read, memorize, and analyze various materials presented by the teacher. Although the process encountered several obstacles that prevented this improvement from proceeding as expected by the teacher, the variety of learning methods has produced students with good spiritual intelligence. This is indicated by students' polite behavior towards teachers, staff, and their peers. This increase in spiritual intelligence does not arise solely from the Islamic religious education learning process. Rather, it is the accumulation of learning methods that foster understanding and a school environment that supports the development of spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the strengthening of Al-Quran literacy using Qiro'ati learning resources at MI Yaspi Banyusidi II Pakis, Magelang Regency. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection instruments through observation, structured interviews, document studies, and literature studies. The data collection steps in this study include the pre-field research stage, the fieldwork stage, and the post-research stage. Qualitative analysis is carried out through the following stages: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Research findings confirm that strengthening Quranic literacy using Qiro'ati learning resources is carried out daily within a one-hour learning period, accompanied by teachers. The application of the Qiro'ati method hones students in the habit of reading the Quran in all hijaiyah letters so that all students are increasingly optimal in pronouncing letters according to their makhraj. This strengthening of Quranic literacy has implications for helping students form makhroj and tartil readings, memorizing them according to the rules of tajwid and gahrib, in addition to improving students' Quranic writing skills. These findings confirm that Quranic literacy activities create a new culture, namely the culture of reading, writing, and studying the Quran.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of educational marketing management in increasing the interest of new student enrollment at MI Ma’arif Al Fattah Kepirang. The research focuses on the following questions: (1) How is educational marketing management implemented at MI Ma’arif Al Fattah Kepirang to attract new students? (2) What is the marketing management model applied to enhance student enrollment interest? (3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing educational marketing strategies at the school? Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted at MI Ma’arif Al Fattah Kepirang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected through a process involving data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. Data credibility was ensured through triangulation and reference sufficiency, while dependability and confirmability were maintained through supervisor auditing. The findings indicate that educational marketing management at MI Ma’arif Al Fattah Kepirang has been well-implemented, reaching approximately 90% effectiveness. Key strategies used to increase new student interest include building a strong school image, implementing public relations programs, and applying the marketing mix approach. Supporting factors include the school's strategic location, affordable tuition, and qualified teaching staff. Conversely, inhibiting factors consist of limited educational funding and inadequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Pemuda Karang Taruna memiliki peran strategis dalam membina karakter sosial keagamaan remaja di Desa Sigedang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pemuda Karang Taruna berkontribusi dalam penguatan nilai-nilai sosial dan keagamaan pada remaja melalui program-program pembinaan yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pemuda Karang Taruna Larasati Desa Sigedang melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan seperti pengajian, kajian kitab, bakti sosial, gotong royong, santunan anak yatim, dan donor darah. Program-program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman remaja, tetapi juga membangun rasa solidaritas, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian terhadap sesama. 2) Faktor pendukung keberhasilan meliputi dukungan dari pemerintah desa dan masyarakat, fasilitas yang mendukung, dan anggota Karang Taruna yang berjiwa semangat luar biasa. 3) sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah keterbatasan dana, kurangnya partisipasi aktif dari sebagian remaja, dan anggota Karang Taruna yang belum bisa membagi waktunya.
