Abstract

Religious moderation within the framework of local wisdom is practiced by the indigenous people of the island of Misool Raja Ampat, Southwest Papua. This can be seen in every community activity that always prioritizes mutual respect between religions. This paper describes the practice of religious moderation carried out by the people of Raja Ampat's Misool Island. This research is based on phenomenological research by looking directly at people's lives with a qualitative approach research method. This research shows that the people of the Misool island in their daily life really uphold the value of religious moderation. This can be seen in several traditional parties or religious activities. The people of Misool Island always prioritize harmony and togetherness regardless of religious background and religious affiliation. Religious traditions that have been practiced since ancient times are still the main pattern in maintaining togetherness and peace. So that with strong moderation, people will have a strong emotional relationship with each other. Moreover, the tribes are dominated by indigenous Papuan people. So that this research can be used as an example of moderation literacy based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Pembelajaran hadis di TPA sering menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan hafalan, pemahaman, dan pengamalan nilai-nilai hadis oleh santri. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran hadis di TPA Al-Ikhlas, Aimas, Kabupaten Sorong, melalui penerapan metode demonstrasi dan tikrar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 10–17 Desember 2024 dengan melibatkan santri berusia 6–12 tahun dan guru TPA. Metode demonstrasi digunakan untuk mempraktikkan isi hadis secara langsung, sedangkan tikrar (pengulangan) diterapkan untuk memperkuat hafalan dan pemahaman santri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa santri mampu menghafal dan memahami hadis pendek dengan lebih baik serta mulai mengamalkan nilai-nilai hadis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Guru TPA juga merasakan manfaat dari panduan metode yang diberikan dan berkomitmen untuk melanjutkan penerapan metode ini secara rutin. Disarankan agar program ini direplikasi di TPA lain dengan dukungan media pembelajaran yang lebih bervariasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kegiatan.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the extent of optimizing the taklim council in providing training and learning to the congregation and the implementation of Islamic parenting in preventing promiscuity in Sorong district. This study uses qualitative research that is descriptive so that data will be presented based on the results of interviews, direct observations, and documentation studies to obtain clear data. In addition, this research method also uses a qualitative approach with case studies, where the researcher will investigate in detail and in depth how the Taklim Council functions as a means to convey the principles of Islamic parenting and how it affects the behavior and social interaction of adolescents in overcoming promiscuity. The results of this study show that: (1) The implementation of activities in the taklim council runs optimally in improving literacy in reading the Qur'an and instilling religious values for the congregation who participate in the activities of the Muslim taklim council. However, the implementation of training, especially the provision of materials related to parenting or Islamic parenting, is not optimal, so it must be considered again and improved again the provision of tausiyah or lectures related to childcare in Islam. (2) The implementation of Islamic parenting has been carried out by the congregation based on the knowledge and awareness of the congregation in order to form the character of children based on sharia and Islamic values. (3) Cases of promiscuity that befell children are still found in the midst of the congregation of the taklim council even though only one or two children are involved. And the incident cannot be blamed on one party alone. However, there needs to be reflection and improvement both for the child concerned, his parents, and also the taklim council in the village.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the free association that occurs among the children of female Muslim study group members in Sorong district, to analyze the internalization of Islamic parenting in the families of the female Muslim study group congregants att Sorong regency, and to assess the challenges and obstacles faced in internalizing Islamic parenting in the families of the female Muslim study group congregants at Sorong regency. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The approach of this research is a phenomenological approach, and the data sources consist of primary data from interviews and secondary data from books and documentation. The data collection methods in the research use observation, interviews, and also documentation. The data processing and analysis techniques involve data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that, firstly, the promiscuity that occurs is caused by several factors, namely a lack of parental attention, a lack of religious understanding, mistakes in choosing a social environment, and a tendency to use mobile phones and social media. Promiscuity consists of two types of deviant behavior, namely consuming alcoholic beverages and engaging in sex outside of marriage. Secondly; The internalization of Islamic parenting as expressed by twenty-six informants is relevant to the concept of Islamic parenting theory put forward by Al-Atas and Al-Ghazali regarding the introduction of beliefs and worship, the presence of role modeling, habituation, selection of formal and non-formal educational institutions, especially in religious education, providing a space for discussion, providing supervision and punishment as a means of shaping children's morals and interactions, as well as providing rewards to enhance children's motivation for worship. Thirdly; Factors that hinder and challenge the internalization of Islamic parenting include the limited resources of speakers or ustadz or those delivering sermons who are experts in the field of parenting, the different backgrounds of the congregation in the study group, the lack of supporting facilities, insufficient religious understanding and attention from parents, the mistake of choosing the environment, and the misuse of mobile phones and social media. The implications in this research are divided into theoretical implications, which strengthen the theory of Islamic parenting according to Al-Ghazali and Al-Attas, and the theory of religious socialization proposed by Ronald L. Johnston. Meanwhile, the practical implications are expected for the management of study groups and those delivering sermons to consistently enhance their role as a source of knowledge in non-formal educational institutions that are greatly needed by the community, to encourage the participants of the women's study groups to continually learn and reflect on themselves, and for teenagers and pre-adolescents to always be cautious and protect themselves from free association that can endanger themselves and those they care about.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan asal-usul sejarah, bahasa, sistem teknologi tradisional, sistem mata pencaharian, sistem pengetahuan, sistem kesenian, dan sistem religi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji etnografi Suku Kokoda. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi dari para informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Suku Kokoda adalah suku yang tinggal di wilayah Papua Barat Daya, dengan pemukiman yang tersebar di wilayah penting: Kelurahan Klasabi, Man di Kota Sorong, dan wilayah IMEKO (Inanuatan, Matemani, Kais, dan Kokoda). Terbatasnya dokumen sejarah suku Kokoda dan akses yang terbatas, sehingga cerita asal-usul suku ini sedikit berbeda di setiap kampung. Suku Kokoda yang tinggal di Kota Sorong pada umumnya telah mengenal penggunaan inovasi, mengingat wilayah kota mereka yang dekat dengan lapangan terbang DEO, Kota Sorong. Sementara itu, suku Kokoda yang tinggal di wilayah IMEKO masih hidup secara tradisional, seperti mengasapi sagu dan memancing ikan di sungai dengan menggunakan alat yang disebut ayang yang dianyam dari pelepah sagu. Kata kunci: Etnografi, Suku, Kokoda ABSTRACT Based on the historical origins, language, traditional technology system, livelihood system, knowledge system, art system, and religious system, this research aims to examine the ethnography of the Kokoda Tribe. The research technique used is field research with a case study approach. Interviews, observations, and documentation were used to gather information from key informants. The results showed that the Kokoda Tribe is a tribe living in the Southwest Papua region, with settlements scattered in important areas: Klasabi Town, Man in Sorong City, and IMEKO areas (Inanuatan, Matemani, Kais, and Kokoda). The limited collection of historical documents of the Kokoda tribe makes it impossible for anyone to access them, so the story of the tribe's origins is slightly different in each village. The Kokoda living in Sorong City are generally familiar with the use of innovation, given the proximity of their town to the DEO airstrip in Sorong City. Meanwhile, the Kokoda living in the IMEKO area still live traditionally, such as smoking sago and fishing in the river using a tool called ayang woven from sago fronds. Abstract

This research explores the implementation of Islamic learning culture at MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz. The aim of this research is to uncover the applied learning culture, with the goal not only to achieve material proficiency but also to shape individuals who are mature and possess a positive learning culture. The research method used is qualitative, involving observation of daily activities at MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz and interviews to map indicators of student learning culture and its contributing factors. Data analysis is conducted using the Spradley method, encompassing domain analysis, taxonomy, componential analysis, and cultural theme analysis. The results of the research indicate that the implementation of Islamic learning culture at MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz is realized through systematic planning, incorporating Islamic elements, daily routines, and the cultivation of Islamic values such as worship, good behavior, noble character, manners, and daily habits. In conclusion, MTs Roudlotul Khuffadz has successfully implemented the Islamic learning culture by engaging all stakeholders, including students, parents, and educators. Islamic leadership is key in creating a school that serves as a model for Islamic learning culture.

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas prinsip-prinsip desain pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang relevan dengan konteks modern. Menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi, PAI perlu beradaptasi untuk tetap efektif dalam membentuk karakter dan spiritualitas peserta didik. Melalui studi literatur komprehensif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis lima prinsip utama desain pembelajaran PAI:1. Integrasi nilai keislaman dan modernitas, 2. Pemanfaatan teknologi edukatif Islami, 3. Pembelajaran aktif dan reflektif, 4. Inklusivitas dan moderasi, 5. Evaluasi holistic. Prinsip-prinsip ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan PAI yang tidak hanya fokus pada transfer pengetahuan agama, tetapi juga pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam konteks keislaman. Makalah ini juga membahas tantangan implementasi dan menyarankan strategi untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, termasuk pengembangan kurikulum yang responsif, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan pengembangan sumber belajar digital yang inovatif. Kesimpulannya, desain pembelajaran PAI di era modern memerlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif, adaptif, dan responsif terhadap perubahan zaman, sambil tetap mempertahankan esensi ajaran Islam.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam merupakan mata pelajaran yang diberikan kepada peserta didik sejak dini untuk membiasakan mereka mengenal agama Islam. Seiring waktu, cara pengenalan pendidikan Agama Islam kepada anak-anak telah berkembang; awalnya melalui buku atau ceramah, dan kini menggunakan media pembelajaran elektronik. Media pembelajaran Agama Islam pun kini beragam, mencakup media visual, audio, hingga audio-visual. Kemajuan era digital membawa dampak positif dan negatif, seperti pembelajaran yang menjadi lebih menarik dan lebih mudah disesuaikan dengan potensi anak, namun juga kemudahan akses informasi yang dapat membuka peluang bagi anak mengakses hal-hal negatif. Oleh karena itu era sekarang kita perlu beradaptasi dengan zaman, maka kita perlu memperbanyak model dan teknik pembelajaran menarik dan efektiv.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik, khususnya di era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi informasi yang pesat. Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan metode pembelajaran PAI yang inovatif dan relevan dengan tantangan zaman. Melalui pendekatan seperti ceramah, diskusi, simulasi, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan penggunaan teknologi seperti aplikasi digital serta media sosial, metode pembelajaran dapat disesuaikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas, partisipasi, dan motivasi siswa. Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan proses belajar yang aktif, kreatif, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis dan kolaborasi. Dengan demikian, hasilnya diharapkan dapat memperkaya pengalaman siswa, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, serta mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi kompleksitas dunia kerja modern. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya inovasi dalam pembelajaran PAI untuk mendukung pencapaian tujuan pendidikan yang optimal.

Abstract

Artikel ini untuk menganalisis optimalisasi pelaksanaan pengajian majelis taklim Jumuiyyatul Ikhwan dalam meningkatkan literasi al-Qur’an masyarakat di kampung Fafanlap Distrik Misool Selatan Raja Ampat. penelitian lapangan kualitatif, menggunakan pendekatan pedagogik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi pengajian majelis taklim dalam meningkatkan literasi al-Qur’an; selain dilaksanakan rutin tiap hari, juga mengoptimalkan penguatan posisi majelis ta’lim sebagai lembaga pendidikan nonformal yang memiliki fungsi keagamaan sebagai tempat membina dan mengembangkan ajaran Islam dalam rangka membentuk masyarakat yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Allah swt.;  optimalisasi fungsi pendidikan, sebagai pusat kegiatan belajar masyarakat keterampil hidup, dan penguatan fungsi sosial, sebagai wahana silaturrahmi, yang memberikan dampak positif dengan menambah minat dan motivasi membaca al-Qur’an, serta memberikan pendidikan akhlak serta dampak perilaku keagamaan yang semakin baik.
