Abstract

Reading, writing, and arithmetic (calistung) are fundamental skills that every individual must possess in order to recognize letters and numbers. The problem of calistung learning can be found in elementary school students, especially in lower grades. This research employs a descriptive qualitative research method. The research instruments consist of interviews and observation sheets. The data analysis technique in this research utilizes the Miles and Huberman model. The aim of this research is to enhance the calistung abilities of second-grade students at MI Salafiyah Tanon. This research focuses on the implementation of calistung learning programs, including planning, implementation, obstacles, and evaluation. Additionally, this research also discusses the positive and negative impacts of the calistung learning program conducted at MI Salafiyah Tanon.

Abstract

The results of the PISA survey in 2015 and 2018 have decreased, indicating that the Higher Order Thinking Skills of students are not optimal so that more effective learning scenarios are needed. The purpose of this study is (1) to describe the characteristics of scientific-based learning scenarios, (2) the development of scientific-based learning scenarios, and (3) to determine the effectiveness of scientific-based learning scenarios to improve students' HOTS. This research and development use a modified method Sukmadinata and Thiagajaran, et al. which consists of define, design, development and disseminate phases. The research subjects were fourth-grade students of Elementary Schools in Ngawi Regency. Data collection techniques used the HOTS test and teacher and student response questionnaires. The HOTS data analysis technique used Independent Sample T-Test based on the pretest and posttest gain scores in the experimental and control groups. The results of the gain score analysis show a significance level of 0.019 less than = 0.05 so that H0 is rejected, which means that there are differences in the HOTS students in the experimental and control groups. This shows that the use of scientific-based learning scenarios can increase the HOTS fourth-grade students at Elementary Schools in Ngawi Regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas II MI Muhammadiyah Cepoko. Guru belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai sehingga kemampuan berhitung siswa kurang baik. Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Kartu Angka Terhadap Kemampuan Berhitung Siswa Kelas II MI Muhammadiyah Cepoko. Penelitian ini dilaksanankan di MI Muhammadiyah Cepoko kecamatan Ngrambe. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre exsperimental. One-Group Pretest-posttest. Popilasi adalah siswa kelas II MI Muhammadiyah Cepoko yang berjumlah 21 anak. Sampel diambil dengan teknik sampling jenuh artinya populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes. Jenis tes yaitu tes tulis dengan bentuk tes soal pilihan ganda. Teknik tes merupakan pengumpulan data primer. Analisis data beberapa uji yaitu uji coba instrumen tes, normalitas dan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media kartu angka terhadap kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas II MI Muhammadiyah Cepoko. Ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig (2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 yaitu lebih kecil dari 0,05 dan dapat diketahui bahwa > yaitu 29,87 > 2,456 (0,05/2) sehingga dalam hal ini Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media kartu angka terhadap kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas II MI Muhammadiyah Cepoko.

Abstract

This cross-site qualitative research describes the online learning prosess and the impact of covid-19 on learning. The research subjects are teachers and high school students using interviews, observations, and documentation. The online learning process is planned by selecting meterials, carried out using an android and whatsapp, starting at 07.00 WIB with assiggment. No process assessment. The interaction between teachers and students is one-way, not learning through activities. The obstacles are minimal internet, passive students, not enthusiastic, and lack of parental support. Positive impact, teachers know parental support for children’s education, teachers conduct IT-based learning, and flexible study time. The negative impact is that students do not understand the material.

Abstract

The School Literacy Movement (GLS) is a government initiative aimed at fostering reading interest and literacy culture among students. One crucial element of literacy is writing ability, including poetry writing. This study aims to examine the impact of GLS on students' poetry writing skills. Literacy encompasses not only reading skills but also writing skills. Poetry writing is an important form of creative expression in literacy education. Poetry helps students develop language skills, enrich their vocabulary, and express their emotions and thoughts. This research aims to determine whether the school literacy movement can influence the poetry writing skills of students at SDN Kletekan 2. The approach in this study is quantitative, with a one-group pre-test post-test research design. The sample consists of all 15 fourth-grade students at SDN Kletekan 2. The prerequisite tests for the study include normality and homogeneity tests, where data is considered normally distributed if the significance value (sig) is > 0.05. The sample is considered homogeneous if the significance value (sig) is > 0.05. Prerequisite tests were conducted using the SPSS 24 application. This study employs hypothesis testing with a paired sample t-test. Data collection was conducted using test instruments. The results indicate that the school literacy movement activities have an impact on the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Kletekan 2, as shown by the paired sample t-test results with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the school literacy movement activities can influence the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Kletekan 2.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of audio-visual learning media on students' learning interest about the respiratory system in class V. The method used was quantitative with a pre-test and post-test group design. The population of this study was all students of SDN Banjarbanggi 1 and the samples were taken using purposive sampling techniques, namely grade V students of SDN Banjarbanggi 1 totaling 15 people. Data was collected using questionnaires and data analysis was carried out through testing questionnaire instruments in the form of validity and reliability tests, prerequisite tests in the form of normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests using paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the use of audio-visual learning media was effective and students' interest in learning increased after treatment with these media. The use of audio-visual learning media has a significant influence on student interest in respiratory system learning materials in class V.

Abstract

This study aims to develop 3D animated story media using the Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy to improve the reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. The research employed the ADDIE development model, consisting of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects were students from an elementary school in Kudus Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The development produced a 3D animated media product along with a user guidebook. Validation results from media experts, material experts, and elementary learning device experts indicated that the developed media met the feasibility criteria in terms of visual quality, content appropriateness, and instructional usability. Therefore, the 3D animated story media based on the DRTA strategy is considered effective in supporting the improvement of students’ reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

The purpose of using this learning media is so that learning activities can runoptimally and student learning outcomes increase. Seeing at SDN Jururejo 2,especially class I, class teachers still use minimal aids in the learning process orwhat is commonly called learning media and causes student learning outcomes tobe below the KKM. This thesis discusses the Influence of Smart Box LiteracyLearning Media on Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes for Class I Studentsof Syllable Material at SDN Jururejo 2. This study uses a quantitative researchmethod with the type of One Group Pretest - Posttest research. Design. Thepopulation and sample in this study were all class I students of SDN Jururejo 2.The data collection technique used was a written test. The data collectiontechnique used tests and non-participation observations. The research instrumentused a pretest and posttest. Data analysis used several tests including instrumenttests, prerequisite analysis tests and hypothesis tests. The results of this studywere that in the instrument test there were 20 questions that could be used andthe researcher used all of these questions for data collection. Next is the analysisprerequisite test, namely there is a normality test, the normality test obtainedpretest results with a significant value of 0.167 > 0.05 and posttest 0.138 > 0.05,ending with a hypothesis test using the paired sample t-test. In this paired samplet-test, the sig (2-tailed) results were obtained, namely 0.000, 0.05, so it can beconcluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.Keywords: Learning Media, Smart Box, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bentuk-bentuk kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pengukuran panjang dan berat pada pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pengamatan secara langsung mengenai bagaimana ketrampilan membaca pemahaman khususnya siswa kelas III SDN Mojo 2 Bringin. Penelitian Kualitatif ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif guna memperoleh gambaran mengenai bagaimana Kesulitan pemecahan soal cerita pengukuran panjang dan berat. Proses pengumpulan informasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 teknik yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dan peneliti sebagai instrument utama. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa hasil pengamatan kesulitan siswa dalam menuntaskan soal cerita pengukuran panjang dan berat yang menunjukkan fakor yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesalahan yaitu kesalahan dalam memahami soal, kesalahan dalam transformasi, kesalahan dalam ketrampilan proses, dan kesalahan dalam menulis jawaban akhir.

Abstract

Adanya Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Pengaruh Media Papan Perkalian (MedPaper) terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada materi perkalian pada siswa kelas 2 Di SDN Kersoharjo 2 Media papan perkalian ( MedPaper ) adalah papan yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi perkalian dengan tujuan merangsang pemahaman dan minat siswa dalam proses belajar. Jenis Penilitian yang di gunakan ialah jenis penilitian kuantitatif. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan eksperimen Pre-Experiment Design.Rancangan eksprerimen dalam penilitian ini menggunakan bentuk desain One Gup Pretes -Posttes Design . Sampel yang digunakan Penilitian ini siswa kelas 2a berjumlah 20 siswa dan instrument penilitian ini menggunakan Tes .Penilitian ini juga menggunkan Analisis Data yang mencangkup Uji Instrumen ,Uji Prasyarat dan Uji Hipotesis .Uji Hipotesis dalam penilitian menggunakan Uji Praired Sampel T-Tes dalam aplikasi SPSS 24. Berdasarkan hasil uji Paired Sample t-Test yang tercantum pada nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Nilai ini lebih kecil dari batas signifikansi 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media papan perkalian (Medpaper) Selain itu, nilai t hitung sebesar 11,950 > t tabel yaitu 2,101, yang berarti bahwa perbedaan tersebut secara statistik signifikan. Dengan demikian, hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H₁) diterima. Artinya, penggunaan media Papan Perkalian (Medpaper) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Perkalian di kelas 2 SD Kersoharjo2 kegunaan media papan perkalian (Medpaper) pada materi matematika memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas 2 di SDN Kersoharjo 2
