Abstract

Background. The Covid-19 pandemic has a huge impact on various fields, especially in the world of education. Learning that was originally carried out face-to-face becomes learning that is carried out online or online. Purpose. Online learning has been approved by the government because it is one of the solutions to overcome the spread of the covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study is to be able to test the hypothesis regarding the impact of covid-19 on student achievement. Method. The method used in this research is quantitative method, the data obtained through distributing questionnaires by utilising google from.   Results. he results of this study indicate that lectures conducted online during covid-19 have a huge impact on the achievements obtained by students. Conclusion. The conclusion of the study shows that there is a significant relationship between learning conducted online during the covid-19 pandemic and the learning achievements obtained by students.

Abstract

Background: The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed various aspects of the legal field, including dispute resolution. Online mediation has emerged as a promising method for resolving cross-border civil disputes, offering a convenient and cost-effective alternative to traditional litigation. Despite its potential, the effectiveness of online mediation in this context remains underexplored, particularly in terms of user satisfaction, cost savings, and resolution time. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of online mediation in resolving cross-border civil disputes. The research seeks to assess user satisfaction, cost efficiency, and the duration of the mediation process compared to traditional methods. The goal is to provide empirical evidence on the viability of online mediation as a dispute resolution mechanism in international contexts. Methods: A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. Quantitative data were collected from 200 participants who have engaged in online mediation for cross-border disputes, measuring their satisfaction, cost savings, and resolution time. Qualitative interviews with 30 mediators provided deeper insights into the challenges and advantages of online mediation. The data were analyzed using statistical methods for the surveys and thematic analysis for the interviews. Results: Findings indicate that online mediation is highly effective in resolving cross-border civil disputes, with 85% of participants expressing satisfaction with the process. Cost savings averaged 40% compared to traditional litigation, and the average resolution time was reduced by 50%. Mediators highlighted the flexibility, accessibility, and reduced logistical challenges as significant advantages of online mediation. Conclusion: Online mediation is an effective method for resolving cross-border civil disputes, offering high user satisfaction, significant cost savings, and reduced resolution times. Implementing best practices can further optimize these benefits. Future research should explore the long-term impacts and develop strategies to address identified challenges, ensuring the sustainable integration of online mediation in international dispute resolution.

Abstract

Background. Rural schools often face challenges in promoting sustainable development due to limited resources and the disconnect between global educational frameworks and local contexts. Local wisdom, rooted in the cultural and environmental knowledge of rural communities, offers valuable insights that can be integrated into curriculum design to foster sustainability and relevance in education. Despite its potential, the integration of local wisdom into formal education remains underutilized in many rural areas, limiting the impact of education on sustainable development. Purpose. This study aims to explore how local wisdom can be leveraged in curriculum design to promote sustainable development in rural schools. Method. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved interviews and focus group discussions with educators, community leaders, and students from three rural schools. The study examined existing curricula, identified elements of local wisdom, and explored ways to incorporate these elements into formal education. Data were analyzed thematically to identify key strategies for integrating local wisdom into teaching practices. Results. The findings reveal that incorporating local wisdom into the curriculum enhances students’ understanding of sustainable practices by connecting global sustainability goals with local knowledge and practices. Educators and community leaders played a critical role in bridging this gap, creating a more relevant and contextually grounded learning experience for students. The study also highlights the importance of collaboration between schools and local communities in fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for sustainable development. Conclusion. In conclusion, leveraging local wisdom in curriculum design can significantly contribute to sustainable development in rural schools by creating more relevant, practical, and community-centered learning experiences. Further research is recommended to explore scalable models for integrating local knowledge into educational frameworks.

Abstract

Background. Educational institutions face increasing demands for transparency and accountability in their administrative processes. Traditional systems often lack the necessary security, efficiency, and transparency to meet these demands, leading to issues such as fraud, mismanagement, and mistrust. Blockchain technology, known for its decentralized and immutable nature, has emerged as a promising solution to address these challenges within educational administration. Purpose. This research aims to explore the potential of blockchain technology in enhancing transparency and accountability in educational administration. The study focuses on how blockchain can improve data integrity, reduce administrative costs, and streamline processes in educational institutions. Method. A qualitative approach was adopted, involving case studies of institutions that have implemented blockchain-based solutions for administrative purposes. Data was collected through interviews with administrators, technology experts, and stakeholders to assess the impact of blockchain technology on transparency and accountability. Results. The findings indicate that blockchain significantly improves data security and traceability, ensuring that records are tamper-proof and easily auditable. It also reduces administrative overhead by automating processes and streamlining communication between stakeholders. Furthermore, blockchain enhances stakeholder trust through transparent and decentralized decision-making. Conclusion. Blockchain technology holds great promise for revolutionizing educational administration by providing a secure, transparent, and efficient system. Future research should focus on addressing scalability challenges and exploring broader applications of blockchain in educational settings.
