Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students in Indonesian language subjects, particularly in narrative text material. This issue is caused by a lack of learning motivation, unengaging learning media, and suboptimal implementation of learning models. The purpose of this study is to develop Hypercontent-based interactive multimedia within the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes. This study is a type of Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research subjects were fourth-grade students, involving 9 students in a small-scale trial and 23 students in a large-scale trial. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, teacher and student needs questionnaires, and validation questionnaires from material experts, media experts, teachers, and students. Data analysis techniques were carried out using qualitative descriptive methods to assess media feasibility, while the effectiveness test was conducted using the correlated t-test analyzed through the SPSS application. The Hypercontent-based interactive multimedia was validated by expert teams, indicating that the media was highly feasible for use, with a score of 95% from material experts and 93.33% from media experts. The trials showed an improvement in learning outcomes, with teacher responses reaching 98% and student responses 76%. Therefore, it can be concluded that Hypercontent-based interactive multimedia is theoretically, practically, and pedagogically effective in improving learning outcomes, assisting teachers, and supporting students’ narrative writing skills.

Abstract

Lack of student participation in the implementation of essential movement learning is one of the obstacles in the process of learning basic movements. The implementation of the basic movement learning process needs to be more effective. This study aims to develop a circuit training method to train students' basic movement skills. The research method used is DBR (Design-based research). This design-based research promises to improve and contribute directly to students' abilities. The analysis is descriptive of quantitative and qualitative data obtained through observation, interviews, and direct measurements in the field. The study's results validated the feasibility of the circuit training model with each indicator of 91.67%. These results indicate that the circuit training model meets the validity and reliability requirements for testing. The results of applying the circuit training model obtained the calculation of the model's effectiveness through the statistical calculations of research data. It is known that the average value of the comparison of small-scale trials of locomotor values is 3.85, non-locomotor 3.5, and manipulative 3.42. In contrast, large-scale trials of locomotor values 3.89, non-locomotor 3.79, and manipulative 3.75 have been empirically proven that the results of the product in the form of a circle game model are very effective. The study's conclusion proves that this training circuit is effective for training basic locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative movement skills.

Abstract

The Freedom Learning - Freedom Campus (MBKM) Policy is a form of learning in higher education that is autonomous and flexible. However, in implementing the program several challenges and opportunities were encountered. This study aims to describe the challenges and opportunities faced in the implementation of MBKM program in the Primary School Education Department, especially in the student exchange program. The research approach used is qualitative research with a case study research design. Sources of research data are lecturers and students at partner universities as subjects who carry out student exchanges. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and anecdotal notes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis (data condensation, data display, and verification). The results showed that most of the students experienced challenges related to socio-cultural factors. The use of regional languages during lectures makes students need time to adjust. Regarding opportunities, differences in an academic culture that affect the learning process (course assignments, teaching methods, and use of technology) provide opportunities for each university to be able to adapt an academic culture that has a positive impact. So, more technical guidelines are needed in the implementation of the MBKM student exchange program.
