Abstract

This research entitled “The Characteristic and Meaning of Nazam Compositions by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency. The number of data in this research were eleven data which consisted of five details data from participant’s record and six data which were obtained from manuscript text or Nazam documentation of Moslem Scholars and respondent. Data gathering was done by using the techniques of observation, interview, record, note, and documentation. The data were analyzed through steps of transcribed the data, classified or sorted the data, identified the data characteristic, and described the meaning of data. The findings of this research revealed that the characteristics of Nazam which were composed by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency arranged of (1) stanza, (2) rhyme, (3) religious themes, (4) syllables variation number, (5) used Arabic vocabularies, (6) began with praises to Allah and greetings to the Prophet. Furthermore, the meanings of Nazam Composition by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency consisted of (1) denotative meaning, (2) connotative meaning, (3) lexical meaning, (4) stylistic meaning, (5) interpretation meaning

Abstract

This research is entitled "Parables in the Alas Language of the People of Southeast Aceh". The problem in this research is what are the forms and meanings of parables in the Alas language in the people of Southeast Aceh. The purpose of this study is to describe the types and meanings of parables in the Alas language in the people of Southeast Aceh. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive method. The data in this study amounted to fifty data with details of seventeen metaphorical parables and thirty-three personification parables. The data sources of this research were obtained from native speakers of the Alas language. Data collection was carried out by steps (1) transcribing the data, (2) translating the data, (3) compiling the data, (4) analyzing the data, and (4) concluding the data. The results of this study indicate that the parables in the Alas language in the people of Southeast Aceh have metaphorical parables and personification parables. The parable describes the human character. The use of this parable is to soften the intent of the conveyer of the expression so that those who hear or receive the expression do not feel flattered if the parable is in the form of praise.

Abstract

This paper aimed to reveal the readiness of Junior High Schools in Banda Aceh and Jombang to implement e-learning based on the teacher's perspective through six factors of e-learning readiness, including student readiness factors, teacher readiness, infrastructure readiness, school culture readiness, and face-to-face learning tendencies. Data was collected through an online questionnaire, involving 69 students from various junior high schools. The findings of this study showed that the readiness for implementing e-learning in Junior High Schools in Banda Aceh and Jombang was at a score of 3.5 and was in the ready category but still needed improvement. Six factors were the basis for determining the readiness to implement e-learning, four of which were in the ready category but required a slight improvement of student readiness factor, teacher readiness factor, school culture readiness, and management readiness. While, the other two factors were in the unready category including the infrastructure readiness factor and readiness for face-to-face learning tendencies. Abstract

This article aims to explain the increase of civic competence for the workforce in vocational training centers (BLK) in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at BLK level 1 UPTP Aceh. Sources of data obtained by observation, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis uses mile and hubberman by data reduction, triangulation and display. The results of the study show that BLK have carried out civic competence improvements through soft skill and hard skill training programs and adapted to the 4.0 industrial revolution era. This can be seen through the determination of programs that use TNA (training need analysis), its means looking at programs by  developments needs of the labor market before opening the type of training programs and based on DUDI (business and industry).

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to explain the use and benefits of the Mendeley application to prospective teachers. This activity was carried out for two days from 5-6 June 2023. The stages of this activity consisted of the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The community service activities that have been carried out have succeeded in increasing the knowledge and understanding of participants in using and utilizing the Mendeley application for writing scientific papers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada unsur budaya yang terdapat dalam novel Tanah Surga Merah karya Arafat Nur. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini memperlihatkan lokalitas unsur budaya yang masih sangat kental dan bentuk-bentuk budaya yang bervariasi seperti yang terdeskripsi dalam novel. Novel ini mengisahkan tentang seorang tokoh bernama Murad yang menjadi buronan partai merah tampil sebagai sosok pahlawan untuk melawan ketidakadilan yang disebabkan oleh partai merah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu dengan menganalisis kata yang mengandung unsur budaya dari penggalan novel tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur budaya khas Aceh yang terdapat dalam novel. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan membaca keseluruhan isi teks dari novel Tanah Surga Merah dan mencatat bagian data. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis naratif, sehingga bahasa analisis menjadi lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kata yang identik atau menyentil budaya yang biasa melekat pada masyarakat Aceh seperti meunasah, minyak amla, leklap, orang Aceh yang tidak suka baca buku, guna-guna, dan mayam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji makna narit maja berdasarkan bidang keagamaan dan adat istiadat dalam masyarakat Bireuen. Data narit maja diperoleh dari tuturan masyarakat Bireuen dan buku Narit Maja Aceh. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode cakap dengan teknik pancing, sadap, catat, dan rekam serta kaji dokumen. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) dalam masyarakat Bireuen masih dilestarikan satra lisan berupa narit maja atau peribahasa sarana untuk menasehati, menegur, dan memberikan pelajaran berharga bagi masyarakat; (2) dalam hasil penelitian ditemukan sepuluh peribahasa yang diturukan masyarakat dalam bidang keagamaan. Makna yang terkandung dalam peribahasa tersebut bermakna tentang kehidupan sosial keagamaan yang tujukan sebagai nasihat, hanya satu peribahasa yang ditujukan untuk menegur dengan kata yang kasar; (3) peribahasa yang bereveren adat istiadat terdapat enam contoh peribahasa yang sering dituturkan masyarakat. Peribahasa yang bereveren adat istiadat di dalamnya banyak yang berisi pedoman hidup tentang memuliakan tamu, menjaga adat, menjadi pribadi yang baik dalam masyarakat dan tidak iri atas pencapaian orang lain. Pada peribahasa yang bereveren adat istiadat juga terdapat makna yang menegur dan mencela; (4) secara umum makna peribahasa yang berkembangan dalam tuturan masyarakat Bireuen berisi tentang nasihat keagamaan dan pedoman bagi manusia untuk menjalankan hidup sehari-hari dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a project-based learning model integrated with local wisdom in language learning at SD Negeri 10 Muara Batu. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects included 23 grade V students and one language teacher. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data obtained will be analyzed through the stages of data collection, categorization, thematic analysis, interpretation, and presentation of results. The results showed that the integration of PjBL with local wisdom significantly improved students' understanding of local culture and encouraged their active involvement in the learning process. The learning stages include the introduction of local wisdom concepts, understanding through discussion, and direct practice in cultural projects. Support from teachers, schools and parents' participation contributed to the successful implementation of this learning model. This approach is also able to increase students' learning motivation and sense of pride in local cultural heritage. The findings indicate that a project-based learning model that integrates local wisdom is effective in enriching learning experiences and shaping students' character who are critical, creative, and have good social skills.
