Abstract

Motivation and Competence are things that affect the good and bad performance of employees. Millennials thrive with immediate satisfaction from technology, spend a lot of time on social media, and are most commonly used to represent the lazy generation at work. This research aims to know the effect of motivation and competence on employee performance in the energy and mineral resources office of south Sumatra province. The object of research used in this study is Employee Performance (ɳ1) as an endogenous variable. The exogenous variables in this study are Motivation (ξ1) and Competence (ξ2). This research was conducted at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of South Sumatra Province. The research method used is associative research because the author wants to know the effect of Motivation and Competence, on performance. The population in this study was 102 people. Sampling techniques with purposive sampling so that the sample in this study is 82 employees. Research using SEM method with the help of Smart pls software. The results of this study show that either partially or together motivation and competence have a positive and significant effect on performance. Meanwhile, from the results of this study, there is no significant influence between job satisfaction as an intervening variable between motivation and competence on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of product quality and price on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction in the Sales Region II PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk. The population is customers of the Sales Region II PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk with a sample or respondents of 190 people using a probability sampling technique with a cluster sampler system. The data used is primary data with the method of collecting query data and secondary data taken through literature. The analysis technique used by the researchers was structural equation modeling (SEM) using the Lisrel. The results of the research show that: 1) product quality has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction; 2) price has a significant and positive impact on client satisfaction, 3) product quality positively and significantly affects customer loyalty; 4) price has a positive and non-significant effect on customer loyalty, 5) customer satisfaction has a positive impact and significant influence on customer loyalties.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Discipline and Leadership on Performance through Intervening Variables of Work motivation in the Palembang City Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (PUPR) of Palembang City; this type of research is associative; this study uses variables of work motivation discipline, leadership, and performance. Sampling using the Slovin formula, with a sample use of as many as 126 respondents. The data needed is primary data with a data collection method using questionnaires. The analytical technique used in this study is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) Analysis Technique. The results showed 1) a positive but insignificant influence on discipline variables on work motivation, 2). There was a positive but not significant influence between leadership variables and work motivation variables, 3). There is a positive and significant influence between discipline variables and performance variables; 4). Leadership and performance variables have a positive and significant influence, 5). There is a positive and significant influence between work motivation and performance variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence, organizational culture, and compensation on the performance of PPPK, with motivation serving as an intervening variable, at the Land Office in South Sumatra. This type of research is associative. The variables used by the researcher are competence, organizational culture, compensation, motivation, and performance, which are developed into 11 indicators. The population of this study consisted of all 149 PPPK employees at the Land Office in South Sumatra, and the research sample comprised 110 employees, selected using a Simple Random Sampling technique. The data used in this study were primary data collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study show that: 1) Competence has a significant effect on the motivation of PPPK at the Land Office in South Sumatra. 2) Organizational culture has a significant effect on the motivation of PPPK at the Land Office in South Sumatra. 3) Compensation has a significant effect on the motivation of PPPK at the Land Office in South Sumatra. 4) Competence has a significant effect on the performance of PPPK at the Land Office in South Sumatra. 5) Organizational culture has a significant effect on the performance of PPPK at the Land Office in South Sumatra. 6) Compensation has an insignificant effect on the performance of PPPK at the Land Office in South Sumatra. 7) Motivation has a significant effect on the performance of PPPK at the Land Office in South Sumatra. Motivation strengthens the effect of competence, organizational culture, and compensation on the performance of PPPK at the Land Office in South Sumatra.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Leadership, Work Motivation, and Work Discipline on the Performance of Employees at the Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital. The sampling technique in this research uses the Cluster Sampling technique by taking samples from 217 employees of the Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital. The research method used is associative research using primary data obtained from the results of questionnaire answers. This research shows that simultaneously and partially, there is a positive and significant influence of Leadership, Work Motivation, and Work Discipline on the Performance of Employees at the Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital. The three variables, leadership, work motivation, and work discipline, were able to contribute to explaining changes that occurred in employee performance by 83.3%, providing practical implications for hospital administrators and professionals in the field of human resources

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to determine the influence of Dividend Policy, Investment Decisions, and Firm Size on Firm Value in High Dividend 20 Index Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Design/methodology - The research method used is associative. The sample consists of 18 High Dividend 20 Index companies listed in 2024 for the period 2019–2023. The data used is secondary data obtained from the official website (www.idx.co.id) or the respective company websites. The data collection method employed in this study is document analysis. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis to examine Dividend Policy, Investment Decisions, and Firm Size. Statistical analysis is then conducted using Financial Analysis, Classical Assumption Tests, Multiple Linear Regression, and Hypothesis Testing, which includes the F-test and t-test. Findings - The results of this study indicate that Dividend Policy, Investment Decisions, and Firm Size collectively have a significant influence on Firm Value. Additionally, Dividend Policy and Investment Decisions each have a significant partial influence on Firm Value. However, Firm Size does not have a significant influence on Firm Value in High Dividend 20 Index Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Work Motivation, Work Environment, and Compensation on Employee Performance Through Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at PT Sari Rasa, OKI Regency. This research is associative. The variables used by researchers include Work Motivation, Work Environment, Compensation, Job Satisfaction, and Performance. The population of this study comprises all employees of PT Sari Rasa, totaling 165, and the sample consisted of 150; the sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The data used in this study are primary, collected through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the LISREL program. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Work motivation has a significant effect on the job satisfaction of PT Sari Rasa, OKI Regency. 2) The work environment has no significant effect on the job satisfaction of PT Sari Rasa, OKI Regency. 3) Compensation has a significant effect on the job satisfaction of PT Sari Rasa, OKI Regency. 4) Work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Sari Rasa, OKI Regency. 5) The work environment has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Sari Rasa, OKI Regency. 6) Compensation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Sari Rasa, OKI Regency. 7) Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance at PT Sari Rasa, OKI Regency. Job satisfaction strengthens the influence of work motivation, the work environment, and compensation on employee performance at PT Sari Rasa in OKI Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of firm size and financial distress on firm value. This research includes this type of associative research. The research population is conventional banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017–2021 period, a total of 42 companies. The sample in this study was 12 companies with a total of 60 observational data points, using a purposive sampling technique. The data used in this research is secondary data. The analysis technique used is quantitative, with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The partial test results show that there is a significant effect of firm size on firm value, and there is a significant effect of financial distress on firm value.
