Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pemikiran Sayyid Quthb. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian bibliografis dan kualitiatif, karena itu sepenuhnya bersifat library research (penelitian kepustakaan) dengan menggunakan data-data yang berupa naskah-naskah dan tulisan dari buku yang bersumber dari khazanah kepustakaan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sosiologi serta historis filosofis. Sumber penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan hasil pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan jalan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara berurutan dan interaksionis yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu: 1) Reduksi data, 2) Penyajian data , 3) Penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil diperoleh bahwa pergeseran pemikiran Sayyid Qutb melalui tiga tahapan: pertama; tahap pemikiran sebelum mempunyai orientasi Islam, kedua; tahap mempunyai orientasi Islam secara umum, ketiga; tahap pemikiran berorientasi Islam militant. Hal ini dilihat dari corak dan profil Sayyid Qutb yang berubah dari sebelumnya. Pada fase ketiga, Sayyid Qutb sudah mulai merasakan adanya keengganan dan rasa muak terhadap westernisasi, kolonialisme dan juga terhadap penguasa Mesir. Masa-masa inilah yang kemudian menjadikan beliau aktif dalam memperjuangnkan Islam dan menolak segala bentuk westernisasi yang kala itu sering digembor-gemborkan oleh para pemikir Islam lainnya yang silau akan kegemilangan budaya-budaya Barat. Secara jujur beliau menyatakan bahwa pandangannya yang seperti itu diperolehnya melalui penghayatan dan kajiannya terhadap al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis filosofis Implementasi Moderasi Beragama di Pondok Pesantren Islam Al Mukmin Ngruki Sukoharjo jawa Tengah. Berdasarkan analisis penulis pada proses Pendidikan formal dan non formal di pesantren Ngruki, dapat dipahami bahwa Pondok Ngruki telah menerapkan Moderasi keberagamaan kepada santri dan santriwati. Dukungan dari pengasuh dan para ustdaz, juga merupakan salah satu efek dari bukti keterlibatan aktif keluarga pesantren untuk menerapkan moderasi beragama di tingkat santri. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa moderasi keberagamaan telah diterapkannya di pondok ngruki baik melalui kurikulum intrakurikuler maupun ekstrakurikuler, yang berarti dalam hal ini secara filosofis civitas akademika pondok pesantren Ngruki adalah civitas akademik yang moderat dalam keberagamaan. Namun peneliti juga menyarankan usaha yang perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut adalah pengembangan mata pelajaran Agama Islam menjadi instrumen untuk mendiseminasi moderasi beragama salah satunya melakukan pengembangan moderasi beragama melalui Bahan Ajar.

Abstract

This research analyzes the deconstruction of radicalism stigma through the perspective of Islamic philosophy in the context of the relationship between religion and state, with a case study of the August 17, 2022 ceremony at Pondok Ngruki. The event, attended by Minister Muhadjir, became a symbolic moment in changing the dominant narrative about radicalism often associated with this pesantren. The research uses a qualitative approach with philosophical analysis, examining the concept of harmony between Islamic values and nationalism, as well as the application of Derrida's deconstruction theory in recontextualizing pesantren practices. The research results show that this ceremony reflects the integration of Islamic values with nationalism, proving the role of Islamic education in building national character while simultaneously reducing the stigma of radicalism. By prioritizing harmony between religion and the state, Pondok Ngruki demonstrates the relevance of Islamic teachings in supporting the principles of nationalism. This study recommends further research in other pesantren to understand similar patterns and strengthen collaboration between pesantren and the government in promoting national values.

Abstract

Penerapan fiqih lintas mazhab di Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin Ngruki merupakan bagian dari upaya untuk mewujudkan pendidikan Islam yang inklusif dan berlandaskan moderasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi fiqih lintas mazhab dalam praktik ibadah harian, mengeksplorasi landasan filosofis di balik kebijakan ini, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung keberhasilannya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini memanfaatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan fiqih lintas mazhab berhasil dijalankan melalui kebijakan yang terstruktur, ketaatan seluruh warga pesantren terhadap arahan ibadah, dan dukungan sumber daya ilmiah. Secara filosofis, pendekatan ini didasari oleh prinsip moderasi (wasathiyyah) dan fleksibilitas hukum Islam (taisir). Keberhasilan implementasi dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan yang visioner, ketaatan santri dan guru, serta komitmen pesantren dalam menjaga harmoni keilmuan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan pendidikan pesantren berbasis fiqih lintas mazhab yang dapat diterapkan di berbagai institusi Islam lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) learning in improving the speaking skills of second-grade students at MTs Pondok Pesantren Modern Alfatih Insani. The background of this research is based on the low mastery of vocabulary and students’ speaking abilities, compounded by a learning environment that has not fully supported the creation of an Arabic-speaking atmosphere. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation and interviews. The subjects of the study consisted of an Arabic language teacher and ten second-grade students.The findings indicate that vocabulary learning was conducted through talaqqi and memorization methods, supported by simple media such as a whiteboard, a pocket dictionary, and speakers. Students’ responses showed gradual improvement in their speaking ability, as observed through teacher interviews during Arabic learning activities. Nevertheless, challenges were identified, including low student motivation and a learning environment that was less conducive to fostering Arabic language habituation. The study concludes that vocabulary learning can enhance students’ speaking skills if supported by appropriate methods and a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the singing method in helping third-grade elementary students memorize mufrodat (Arabic vocabulary). The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on an in-depth understanding of the learning process and students’ responses. The study was conducted at SDI Amanah Ummah Surakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the singing method, combined with children’s song rhythms, increased students’ enthusiasm and memorization ability of mufrodat. As many as 80% (27 students) were able to fluently recite all the vocabulary taught in a single session, while 13.33% still required repetition, and the remaining 6.67% encountered significant difficulties. In conclusion, the singing method is effective in Arabic language learning for improving elementary students’ vocabulary memorization, although adjustments are still needed to match students’ time management and individual characteristics. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of creative learning strategies at the elementary level.

Abstract

Some students experienced difficulties in understanding the material delivered. This was due to the teaching method used by the Arabic language teacher at SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta, which relied on lectures and memorization. This learning strategy was applied continuously in every Arabic language lesson, resulting in boredom and low student motivation. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) using the Kurt Lewin model. The research subjects were 35 eighth-grade students (class VIII A) of SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. The study consisted of two cycles, and each cycle included four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques involved observation, documentation, tests, and interviews. The findings of this study show that the use of the role-playing method can improve the mastery of Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) among class VIII A students at SMPIT Nur Hidayah. This is evidenced by an increase in vocabulary mastery, with the class average score rising from 74.8 in cycle I to 83.4 in cycle II. This indicates that students experienced an improvement of 8.6%. The improvement occurred after the researcher implemented several stages of action, namely: (1) the teacher explained the implementation technique and assigned students to play roles, (2) the teacher divided students into small groups consisting of four members, (3) each student acted out their assigned role referring to the material a‘dhā’ul jism, and (4) each group performed alternately. The advantages of this method include students showing greater enthusiasm for learning because they were directly involved in role-playing activities. They not only memorized vocabulary but also practiced it in real conversational contexts. However, the weaknesses include students’ limited vocabulary mastery; many still mispronounced words or could only use simple vocabulary. Teachers also faced challenges in maintaining a conducive classroom environment, as some students considered the activity merely a game

Abstract

The relationship between Islam and Pancasila remains a subject of ongoing debate within Islamic discourse in Indonesia, particularly when linked to the views of influential Islamic figures. Abu Bakar Ba’asyir is one such figure whose perspective on Pancasila has evolved over time rather than remaining static. This article aims to analyze the dynamics of Ba’asyir’s changing views on Pancasila through a textual analysis of his publicly available statements.This study employs a qualitative approach using textual analysis. The data consist of Abu Bakar Ba’asyir’s public statements, including transcribed speeches and documented written statements. The analysis is conducted chronologically to identify patterns, directions, and contextual factors underlying the shifts in his views across different periods.The findings indicate that Ba’asyir’s views on Pancasila have shifted in response to changing social, political, and legal contexts. These shifts demonstrate that the perspectives of Islamic figures on state ideology may evolve alongside broader societal dynamics. This study contributes to the discussion of Islamic political thought in Indonesia by highlighting the importance of analyzing public statements as a primary source for understanding ideological change.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Arabic language learning in grade II at Kuttab Darul Ulum Banjarnegara, focusing on students’ comprehension and language skills. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Arabic learning has been implemented interactively, with active student participation supported by the teacher’s competence in managing the classroom and delivering materials. Students’ comprehension levels are relatively good, particularly in vocabulary mastery and understanding simple instructions. However, language skills development has not been balanced, especially in reading and writing skills, which remain relatively low. In addition, several challenges were identified, including the absence of systematic lesson planning, a lack of initial learning motivation, and limited reflective activities. The study implies the need for strengthening instructional planning, improving motivational strategies, and developing balanced integration of the four language skills. Therefore, Arabic learning is expected to enhance students’ competencies more comprehensively.
