Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 yang terjadi hingga saat ini membuat masyarakat perlu menjaga daya tahan tubuh dan mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang ada, terlebih bagi masyarakat yang memiliki riwayat penyakit kronis. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas masyarakat belum menyadari pentingnya konsumsi jus sayuran sehat sebagai pencegahan penyakit kronis walaupun akses untuk mendapatkan sayur dan buah terbilang mudah. Program yang dilaksanakan berbentuk Pendidikan Kesehatan, menggunakan social media dengan tajuk “Drink Well, Live Well with Cemong”. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ialah untuk memberikan informasi dan edukasi seputar pentingnya mengkonsumsi jus sayuran sehat untuk penyembuhan dan pencegahan penyakit kronis. Terdapat 4 konten menarik yang diunggah pada social media Instagram @amazingcemong yaitu, Fun Fact, Audio Content, Informasi, dan Video (Reels) pembuatan Jus. Parameter pencapaian hasil dari Social Media Campaign ini terdiri dari 30 unggahan materi konsumsi jus yang dikaitkan dengan penyembuhan dan pencegahan penyakit kronis, 13.99% Accounts Reached, 10.40% Accounts Engaged, 35.8% Total Followers serta mendapat feedback positif berupa like (menyukai) sebanyak 942. Program lainnya yang dilaksanakan ialah membagian jus sayur sebagai edukasi dan pengabdian terhadap masyarakat. Diharapkan dengan diadakannya kegiatan ini, para pengguna Instagram dan followers akun media sosial @amazingcemong mulai sering mengonsumsi jus sayur sehat demi terhindar dari penyakit kronis.Kata kunci: Campaign, jus, penyakit kronis, sayuran, sosial media.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Penyakit kronik adalah masalah kesehatan global yang serius, termasuk di Indonesia. Upaya pencegahan dengan optimalisasi peran kader di Posbindu dalam skrining merupakan strategi penting dalam pencegahan penyakit kronik. Meski demikian, dalam tataran praktik peran kader kesehatan lebih berorientasi pengelolaan dan belum mencakup program pencegahan. Program Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kader Posbindu dalam peranannya menjalankan program skrining penyakit kronik di masyarakat. Kegiatan dijalankan di Desa Banjaran, Kec. Banjaran, Kab. Bandung. Program PPM dimulai penyampaian materi terkait penyakit kronis, materi skrining tingkat risiko penyakit kronis dan pencegahannya serta materi terkait peran kader. Pengetahuan kader dicek menggunakan kuesioner pre-test dan post-test. Sebanyak 88 kader Kesehatan terlibat dalam kegiatan. Pengetahuan kader terkait penyakit kronik, faktor risiko dan pencegahanya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 15% (rerata jawaban benar pre-test 6,03 vs. post-test 7,5). Kegiatan PPM ini efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kapasitas kader kesehatan di Wilayah Banjaran dalam pengenalan dan skrining tingkat risiko penyakit kronik. Selain itu, penting bagi kader menerapkan program skrining di Posbindu sebagai upaya pengenalan dan monitoring faktor risiko penyakit kronik baik yang ada pada dirinya, peserta Posbindu, maupun masyarakat luas. Kata Kunci: Penyakit Kronik, Kader, Posbindu, Skrining, Upgrading  ABSTRACT Chronic disease is a serious global health problem, including in Indonesia. Prevention efforts by optimizing the role of Posbindu cadres for screening and early detection are important strategies in preventing chronic diseases. However, at the practical level, the role of health cadres is more management oriented and does not include prevention programs. This community service program aimed to improve health cadres’ capacity for screening and early detection of chronic diseases in programs the community. It was conducted in Banjaran Village, Banjaran Sub-District, Bandung regency. Apart from participating in Posbindu activities, the team also conducted upgrading program covering health education on chronic disease, its’ prevention and the role of cadres. Knowledge of cadres was checked using pre and post-test questionnaires. A total of 88 health cadres in the area were involved in an upgrading activity. The knowledge of cadres regarding chronic diseases, risk factors and their prevention showed an increase of 15% (mean pre-test correct answers 6, 03 vs. post-test 7.5). This program effectively improves the health cadres’ knowledge and capacity in recognizing and detecting the risk level of chronic disease, particularly DMT2. Additionally, it is important for the cadres to implement screening and early detection programs at Posbindu as an effort to identify and monitor risk factors for chronic disease both in themselves, Posbindu participants, and the wider community. Keywords: Chronic Disease, Cadres, Posbindu, Screening, Upgradin

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perawatan integratif dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan yang akan berkontribusi kepada peningkatan derajat kesehatan dan kualitas hidup pasien. Penerapan perawatan integratif membutuhkan kemampuan perawat dalam mengelola upaya preventif, promotif dan rehabilitatif secara efektif pada saat memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada area keperawatan medikal bedah (KMB). Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas perawat dalam perawatan integratif di area keperawatan medikal bedah. Metoda yang digunakan adalah in-house training berupa ceramah dan tanya jawab interaktif kepada 9 preseptor klinik dan 3 clinical case manager di RSUD Sumedang. Materi yang disampaikan diantaranya adalah Continuity of care pada chronic disease, Protocol follow up care pada area KMB, Transitional care, dan Discharge planning. Evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan analisis pre-posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan poin nilai rata-rata pre-post test (3,09). Nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 56 dan post-test sebesar 69,09. Dengan demikian, upaya yang sudah dilakukan bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan kapasitas perawat khususnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan menginisiasi integrative care. Upaya tersebut dapat diulang dengan target sasaran perawat medikal bedah lainnya selain perseptor maupun case manager. Kata Kunci: Keperawatan Medikal Bedah, Kapasitas Perawat, Perawatan Integratif, Preceptor, Case Manager, Pengabdian Masyarakat  ABSTRACT Integrative Care could increase quality nursing services to be contribute to enhance the patient’s health status and quality life. Application of the integrative care requires the ability of nurses to effectively manage preventive, promotive and rehabilitative measurements when providing nursing care in the medical surgical nursing (MSN) area. This community service conducted with the purpose for increasing capacity of the nurses in integrative care in the MSN area. The method used was in -house training through interactive presentation and interactive  discussion to nine clinical preceptors and three clinical case managers at Sumedang District Hospital. The topic presented included Continuity of care in chronic disease, Protocol follow-up care in the MSN area, Transitional care, and Discharge planning. The evaluation and outcome analysis using pre-post test design. The results of the program showed an increase in the average pre-post test score points (3.09). The average pre-test score was 56 and the post-test was 69.09. Thus, this community program that have been made are beneficial in increasing capacity nurse specifically knowledge and skills to initiate the integrative care . Abstract

Background: The PICO framework is frequently applied to formulate question for conducting literature searching in the evidence-based practices (EBPs) development. However, students experienced challenges in fitting the clinical questions into PICO's format. In Indonesia, the EBP was mostly taught conventionally through lectures and discussions. There was no specific evaluation for assessing the accuracy of the PICO formula. Previous studies indicated that incorporating visual art in learning effectively improves students' observation skills, self-confidence, communication skills, and promotes transformational learning.Purpose: To describe the implementation of the PICO game and visual art as an EBP learning method and evaluate the accuracy of the PICO formula and the visual art created by nursing students, including their perspectives on the applied EBP learning method.Method: This descriptive study was conducted at a secondary hospital in Sumedang District, West Java-Indonesia, in July 2023. Totally 53 nursing profession program (NPP) students of a University in Indonesia were voluntarily recruited as participants. They divided into 9 groups and received a description of how to play the PICO game and visual art for developing the PICO formula question. Each group required to develop PICO questions from the PICO trigger pictures and keywords on the PICO worksheets and to draw at least one visual art illustration from the developed PICO question. At the end of those sessions, they were also required to provide opinions on this EBP learning approach. The PICO question accuracy was assessed using the PICO formula observation sheet, while the visual art compatibility was measured using the visual art observation sheet. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively and the students’ perspectives on the EBP learning processes were analyzed by identifying the topic mostly described.Results: There were 63 PICO formulas and 18 visual art illustrations. Most of the PICO formulas (93.7%) were identified as accurate. However, more than one-third (41.3%) of the PICO formula did not include the C (comparison) component. More than half of the developed visual art illustrations (61%) were inappropriately describing the developed PICO formula. Participants reported that using PICO Games and visual art was an interesting and fun approach that enhanced their comprehension of the PICO question formula, EBP, and improved their teamwork capacity.Conclusion: The PICO game and visual art learning method facilitates high accuracy of the PICO question formula and is perceived as an effective and interesting EBP learning method. However, as the “C” (comparison) is the PICO component mostly found uncompleted, it is important to elaborate more on this issue in the EBP learning session. It is also important to extend the duration of the EBP learning method to facilitate students drawing the expected visual art appropriately. Further studies are needed to further confirm and follow up on the findings of this study.
