Abstract

Abstract

Construction productivity, particularly in column reinforcement, is significantly influenced by labor as a key project component. Variations in labor coefficients determine efficiency in time, cost, and work quality, necessitating empirical analysis of their impact on productivity. This study examines the relationship between labor coefficients and column reinforcement productivity to improve construction project management efficiency. Using a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, 33 observation data were collected through field measurements and questionnaires from workers and foremen. Simple linear regression was applied to test labor coefficient significance, with results compared against PUPR Ministerial Regulation No. 8 of 2023 standards. Analysis revealed that field labor coefficients significantly affect column reinforcement productivity (p < 0.001), demonstrating that optimal labor utilization increases productivity. The comparison with ministerial standards evaluated field condition conformity with official provisions. The research hypothesis confirming significant influence between field labor coefficients and column reinforcement productivity was accepted, providing valuable insights for construction management practices.

Abstract

Liquefaction poses a significant threat to urban areas with water-saturated alluvial soils, especially in seismically active zones like West Jakarta. Using Cone Penetration Test (CPT) data from 25 locations, soil susceptibility was evaluated through Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR), Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR), and Magnitude Scaling Factor (MSF). Areas with safety factor (FS) values below 1 were identified as having high liquefaction potential. Residential buildings were categorized by floor area and assessed using the 2024 Government Property Sales Value (NJOP) to estimate potential financial loss. Structural damage percentages were determined using seismic intensity thresholds and empirical damage functions. Analysis showed that residential areas with moderate to loose soil conditions, particularly in the northern and western zones, are most vulnerable. The total estimated loss reached IDR 189.8 billion, with the highest concentration of damage in medium and large sized residential properties. These findings emphasize the critical need to integrate geotechnical parameters into spatial risk mapping and urban disaster mitigation planning. A digital loss estimation model combining soil characteristics, seismic parameters, and economic valuation provides a scalable approach for early warning systems and resilience-oriented urban planning. The study contributes to data-driven risk management strategies aligned with sustainable development objectives and adaptive infrastructure policies.

Abstract

The Road Preservation Project on Liran Island has faced significant implementation delays. Liran Island, categorized as one of the 3T (terdepan, tertinggal, and terluar) areas, has encountered challenges mainly due to difficult geographical conditions. These challenges include shallow sea topography and shoals that hinder navigation, strong currents and tides that limit ship movement, adverse weather conditions such as high winds and large waves, and limited resources that require material imports from outside the island. This study aims to identify and analyze the geographical factors most influencing the optimization of costs and time in the project. The research design employs simulation of optimization scenario models, comparing geographical and normal conditions (without geographical factors). Data analysis is conducted using the Transportation Method for cost optimization (material procurement) and the Critical Path Method (CPM) for time optimization (rescheduling). The results reveal that geographical conditions significantly impact mobilization costs. Among the variables analyzed—sea topography (X1), sea and water conditions (X2), weather (X3), and natural resources (X4)—weather (X3), particularly wind speed and wave height, has the greatest influence on increasing distribution costs. Furthermore, geographical conditions also affect the project schedule, particularly in material delivery planning, which requires longer loading and unloading times. Adjusting the schedule based on geographical conditions leads to cost and time efficiencies, especially in choosing the right vessel types, estimating weather, and managing tidal conditions.

Abstract

In the construction of the Padang - Sicincin toll road, toll access is also opened which is directly connected to the national road. This toll access must be met as a form of traffic safety mitigation. This study aims to project the level of service of the intersection. And only focuses on the level of service of the intersection during the toll concession period (until 2050) and what is the ideal traffic management and engineering can be implemented at the intersection. Analysis method uses the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (1997). Based on survey results show that in the 2025 traffic volume reaches 21,514 vehicles / day with on peak hour volume of 1,712 vehicles / hour (peak hour factor 7.9%), currently the intersection has an intersection delay of 31 SMP / Second (LoS D), these results indicate that the intersection service level exceeds the maximum limit required (25 seconds and LoS C). From the intersection’s existing performance, it is projected that the intersection performance until 2050 will have traffic growth of 4.8% - 5.2% per year. Therefore, several mitigation measures are recommended in 2025-2030 in the form of providing road equipment facilities, adjusting intersection cycle times, in 2030-2040 implementing changes to traffic cycle times, and changing traffic flow from the toll exit direction, and in 2041-2050 changing the intersection type to a non-level intersection. Based on these recommendations, the intersection service level will be 24 sec/SMP (LoS C) in 2025, 17 sec/SMP in 2030, 18 sec/SMP in 2035, 21 sec/SMP in 2040, and 24 sec/SMP in 2045. Based on the analysis results, intersection service will increase by 50% - 70% after implementing traffic management and engineering.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the traffic accident rate and its relationship with traffic volume on the Becakayu Toll Road during the 2020–2024 period. A quantitative research approach was employed using secondary data in the form of traffic volume data and accident records obtained from the Toll Road Operating Agency (BUJT) PT Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga. The data were analyzed on an annual basis by calculating the accident rate based on the standard number of accidents per 100 million vehicle-kilometers, with a section length of 16.78 km. The analytical methods included descriptive statistics, accident rate calculation, and Pearson correlation analysis to examine the relationship between Average Daily Traffic (ADT) and the number of accidents as well as the accident rate. The results indicate that an increase in traffic volume is followed by an increase in the number of accidents; however, the accident rate tends to fluctuate and shows a negative correlation with traffic volume. The correlation analysis reveals a very strong positive relationship between traffic volume and the number of accidents, as well as a strong negative relationship between traffic volume and the accident rate. These findings indicate a distinction between absolute accident frequency and relative risk per vehicle. Therefore, toll road safety evaluations should combine absolute accident indicators and exposure-based indicators to obtain a more comprehensive interpretation of traffic risk.
