Abstract

Pembelajaran jarak jauh telah menuntut civitas akademik untuk menggunakan media pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, sangat perlu untuk diadakan pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran, salah satunya media pembelajaran flipbook 3D. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan media pembelajaran berbasis flipbook 3D dan mengukur tingkat ketercapaian pemahaman peserta dalam membuat media pembelajaran berbasis flipbook 3D. Adapun sasaran peserta kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru MGMP Fisika di Kabupaten Serang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode diskusi dan pelatihan secara daring melalui aplikasi zoom. Metodenya terbagi menjadi 3 tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan dokumentasi hasil pelatihan yang diberikan di setiap akhir pertemuan digunakan untuk perbaikan kualitas pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan, serta mengukur sejauh mana metode pembelajaran bermanfaat bagi peserta. Hasil akhir kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa mitra guru-guru MGMP Fisika Kabupaten Serang telah mampu membuat media pembelajaran berbasis flipbook 3D secara mandiri. Selain itu, mitra juga telah mempunyai pemahaman terhadap media pembelajaran flipbook 3D dengan tingkat ketercapaian pemahaman mencapai 83,8%.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk mengoptimalkan fungsi teknologi dalam bidang elektronika sebagai media pembelajaran robotik di SMP dan SMK Tritura Tapos Depok, Jawa Barat.  Media pembelajaran teknologi ini bukanlah teknologi yang baru, tetapi masih terus dikembangkan karena diminati dari berbagai kalangan. Media robot yang dibuat adalah robot soccer yang merupakan salah satu jenis mobile robot sederhana yang dapat bergerak sesuai perintah yang diberikan dari remote control. Rancang bangun robot soccer ini dapat menarik minat terhadap Fisika khususnya anak-anak, selain itu juga dapat dikembangkan sebagai robot yang dapat membantu mempermudah pekerjaan manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan workshop serta diskusi. Workshop dilakukan dengan cara memberikan informasi dalam membuat media robotik robot soccer. Materi yang diberikan saat workshop memuat pembuatan, pengelolaan, dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran  dalam bentuk media robotik.Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, robot soccer

Abstract

Physics learning with discovery learning approach requires students to be active in learning. In th schools in tangerang area, there is no discovery learning module available. the purpose of this research is to develop a physics learning module based on discovery learning on Motion materials. This research method is research & development with ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementetion, evaluation), using research instruments in the form of validation sheets. the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that discovery learning-based physics learning modules are worth testing and implementing to students. This module has characteristics according to discovery learning syntax and user friendly so that students can learn independently.

Abstract

Most of the students stated that studying Physics using relatively thick textbooks tended to be boring. This has an impact on unsatisfactory learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to develop a product in the form of a module that is compiled using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) learning model with a combination of learning videos from YouTube, and analyze the feasibility level. The research method used is by making a module on temperature and heat material, which includes learning videos in the form of a QR code that can be scanned via a smartphone. The parameters analyzed include the results of the validation of experts who include material experts, media experts, and linguists. Another parameter that was measured as the level of student interest in the module, with a sample of 10 students from SMAN 1 Dramaga, SMA Bumi Sejahtera, and SMA Hanura. The results showed that the assessments of material experts, media experts, and linguists respectively were 3.83, 3.32, and 3.47 with the criteria of "very decent". The attractiveness test results for SMAN 1 Dramaga, SMA Bumi Sejahtera, and SMA Hanura were 3.57, 3.36 with the criteria of "very interesting" and 3.03 with the criteria of "attractive". Thus, it is concluded that the POE-based physics module by utilizing the QR code and YouTube learning videos is very feasible to be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

Agave plants are ornamental plants that generally grow wild in the yard or empty land. Apart from being an ornamental plant, agave plants have many uses and benefits. The use of agave plants is located on the plant fibers. One of the benefits of agave fiber is the material used to make a composite material for applications in the medical or industrial fields. The purpose of this study was to determine the fiber characteristics of agave plants including the crystallinity and regularity of agave fibers by testing using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy. Characterization with FTIR can be obtained information of C-O stretching cellulose 1 and sesulose 2 groups, C-H aromatic groups, C = C stretching aromatic ring (G) groups, C = C stretching aromatic ring (S) groups and OH groups from Agave fibers. Agave fibers are made in two different types of samples. The first sample is pure fiber without treatment called (UT) and the second sample, namely fiber with soaking sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is called treatment fiber (T). The results obtained show that T fibers have a degree of crystallinity and strength based on higher OH groups compared to UT fibers.

Abstract

In basic physics practicums there are some simplification of cases that aim to support the understanding of physics learning concepts. In practicum implementation there is a proof process that is carried out through an experiment and involves a formulation. This can be found in simple pendulum experiments, in which there are simplified cases that facilitate understanding of the factors that affect the pendulum period value. Therefore, this study aims to prove the value of the pendulum period based on experimental results and calculation data based on formulas. The experimental method used is to use simple pendulum props and observe the effect of pendulum mass, pendulum diameter, length of the rope, and angle deviation on the value of the pendulum period. The angle variations chosen were 15o, 30o and 45o. The results obtained show that at an angle of 15o, the magnitude of the period depends only on the value of the change in the length of the rope, while at an angle of 30o and 45o, the magnitude of the angle affects the value of the period. The pendulum mass and pendulum diameter do not affect the magnitude of the period for all angular variations. Period values obtained based on experimental results and formula calculations do not show significantly different values.

Abstract

In the material of thermodynamics, many physics equations make students abstract in understanding the material. It is necessary to have a learning media to be able to visualize the thermodynamics material. Matlab is usually used in numerical analysis. Currently, Matlab can be used as a medium for learning physics by students to understand the material well. This study aims to develop a physics calculator application on the subject of thermodynamics using Matlab software. The research method used in this research is the research development method with the development model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The instruments used in this study were a validation test questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. The analysis technique applied is the descriptive analysis and the average analysis techniques. The results developed in this study are in the form of a Physics calculator application that helps physics calculations on thermodynamic material. The average validation result by material experts and media experts is 83.1%, with the "Good" category. In other words, according to experts, this media is suitable for use in physics learning. This application also received a positive response from students, with an average student response score of 79.8%. This application is also equipped with materials, physics calculators, physics simulations and question exercises so that it is expected to help students understand physics learning in thermodynamics material.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Merebaknya pandemi COVID-19 secara global telah mendorong banyak sektor kehidupan masyarakat yang mengalami perubahan, termasuk di dunia pendidikan. Di Indonesia, sekolah dan perguruan tinggi telah meniadakan pembelajaran tatap muka secara langsung sejak pertengahan bulan Maret 2020 hingga saat ini. Sebagai alternatif, pemerintah Indonesia mendorong agar semua kegiatan belajar dilaksanakan secara jarak jauh. Di sisi lain, pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh mengalami kendala seperti kurangnya keterampilan guru atau tenaga pengajar dalam mengelola model pembelajaran tersebut dan dalam menggunakan berbagai instrumen pembelajaran daring (online). Termasuk salah satunya masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru di SMA Islam Ar-Ridwan Bekasi. Oleh karena itu, kami telah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan YouTube sebagai media pembelajaran jarak jauh di era COVID-19 terhadap guru-guru di SMA Islam Ar-Ridwan, dengan tujuan dapat membantu guru-guru yang merasa kesulitan menggunakan media dalam melakukan pembelajaran daring. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan yaitu memberikan pemahaman konseptual tentang pembelajaran jarak jauh sekaligus mempraktikkan penggunaan instrumen atau aplikasi pembelajaran daring berupa YouTube. Pelatihan pembelajaran jarak jauh dilaksanakan secara daring melalui instrumen video conference “G-meet”. Hasil: Pada akhir kegiatan, mitra binaan telah mampu menyerap dan mempraktikkan apa yang telah disampaikan oleh tim pendamping, peserta pelatihan telah mempunyai kemampuan teknis dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi pembelajaran daring berupa YouTube. Kesimpulan: Selain itu, peserta juga telah mampu memahami bagaimana penerapan media pembelajaran jarak jauh tersebut secara tepat.

Abstract

Many factors influence the outcome of learning physics. One factor is considered to be very important is the learning methods and early skills of learners. Then this research aims to know the influence of the method of enquiries pictorial Riddle and Inquiry learning method of learning results of physics by controlling the initial ability of learners in class X IPA SMAN 85 Jakarta. The research methods used are experimental methods with ANAKOVA analysis.  The samples used were students of the X IPA class as many as 72 students spread in X IPA Class 1 and X IPA 2. The research Data used to test hypotheses comes from the daily value document of the results of physics learning outcomes at Law Newton. The instruments used in the test have passed validity tests, reliability, difficulty levels, and differentiation power. From the results of the study came the conclusion that by controlling/controlling the influence of the original ability, there are significant differences in physics learning outcomes among learners who use the Methods enquiries Pictorial riddle (Fcount < ftable = 0.88 < 3.28) and Learning method of inquiry (Fcount < ftable = 0.65 < 3.28).

Abstract

Hingga tulisan ini disusun, pandemi COVID-19 masih terus berlangsung, sementara proses pembelajaran harus terus berjalan, termasuk juga praktikum. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat akurasi percobaan yang dilakukan secara mandiri dengan studi kasus pada pengukuran kuat terang cahaya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melakukan pengukuran terhadap 2 sumber cahaya yaitu lilin dan senter handphone yang dilakukan pada variasi jarak 15 cm, 30 cm dan 45 cm, dengan menggunakan aplikasi smart lux meter. Hasil penelitian dibandingkan dengan rumus kuat penerangan yang sudah standar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa percobaan yang dilakukan secara mandiri, dengan menggunakan aplikasi yang ada pada smartphone, mempunyai tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, dengan nilai akurasi pengukuran kuat terang cahaya lilin dan cahaya senter handphone masing-masing sebesar 84,05% dan 83,32%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa percobaan yang dilakukan secara mandiri dengan menggunakan aplikasi smart lux meter mempunyai tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dan dapat digunakan sebagai solusi untuk kegiatan praktikum selama pembelajaran jarak jauh.
