Osteoporosis is a bone disease that generally occurs in postmenopausal women. Osteoporosis can be studied using an animal model such as rats because rat bone structure is similar to human bone structure. This research aimed to analyze pelvic bones of ovariectomized rats that showed osteoporosis signs for the first time. In this study, 20 Rattus norvegicus were given ovariectomy at 12 weeks of age and were used as an animal model for menopausal women. The rats were euthanized every 2 weeks from 13 to 21 weeks of age. In addition, the pelvic bones of ovariectomized rats will be analyzed using FTIR and Raman spectroscopy to show the first osteoporosis signs periodically. Results of FTIR and Raman spectroscopy indicated that the pelvic bones of the ovariectomized rats showed the first osteoporosis signs at 17 weeks of age with changes in phosphate and carbonate contents, increased hydroxyl functional groups, reduction of mineral maturity about 7.47%, and reduction of crystallinity about 29.26%. In addition, morphological changes from fine fibers to coarser fibers and reduction of the crystal size and crystallinity index at the angle of 2θ ≅ 25° about 9.29% and 25.18%, respectively, were observed using SEM-EDS and XRD.

Critical thinking skills are needed to be able to follow physics learning. Because the concept of physics has a mathematical language. The mathematical ability of introverted students can be improved by using contextual problems. Therefore, mathematical learning requires a more Student Centered method in the sense that the Physics learning process which still uses conventional methods is replaced with PBL to train students to increase their curiosity about complex things. This study aims to improve critical thinking skills in introverted students and the effectiveness of problem-based learning methods to improve critical thinking skills in introverted students. The research method is carried out using the A-B design on the Single Subject Research method (single subject design). Data analysis techniques using visual analysis or descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a trend of increasing critical thinking skills of introverted students in two conditions as evidenced by the analysis of data under conditions and data analysis between conditions.

The problem faced by secondary education is the low ability in 3 fields, namely mathematics, science, and literacy. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate a project-based learning (PjBL) model integrated with local culture. The PjBL learning model can collaborate on several abilities of students, namely abilities in the fields of science, mathematics, and literacy simultaneously. Local culture is carried out to raise local wisdom in learning. This study aims to analyze the needs of high school physics teachers in developing an integrated project-based learning (PjBL) model for local culture. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Research data were collected through interviews and observations. The interview was conducted by a high school physics teacher in the Depok area. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the project-based learning (PjBL) model integrated with local culture needs to be applied in physics learning in high schools in the Depok region. Teachers also need training on the application of the project-based learning (PjBL) model integrated with local culture to improve the quality of physics learning models in schools.

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan kegiatan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh guru yang bertujuan mengatasi masalah dalam pembelajaran. Laporan PTK perlu dibuat oleh guru untuk keperluan kepangkatan dan karya ilmiah. Namun pada kenyataan di lapangan banyak guru yang kesulitan dalam membuat PTK. Metode pengenalan dilakukan secara luring terhadap mitra para guru Fisika yang tergabung dalam MGMP Fisika Kabupaten Karawang, yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap. Tahap pertama dimulai dengan bagian-bagian yang penting dalam pembuatan penelitian PTK, dilanjutkan pada tahap ke dua mendampingi mitra untuk membuat PTK. Tahap ketiga yaitu analisis dan evaluasi terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan yang telah dilakukan tersebut. Peserta pelatihan lebih antusias dan yakin bahwa dapat secepatnya melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Terdapat 82% peningkatan guru mengenai pemahaman Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Kegiatan pelatihan PTK juga sebagai upaya untuk melatih guru agar terampil dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah.

The canting is one of the simple tools used in the batik process, which consists of a handle, a container/place for the liquid wax, and a pipe/cucuk as a way out of the liquid wax as well as for inscribing the liquid wax onto the batik cloth. The purpose of this study is to examine the fluid concept contained in the canting. The method used is literature study. The results obtained are that there is a principle of continuity in Canting cecek siji.

Kulit mangis mempunyai manfaat yang sangat besar. Sayangnya, tidak semua orang mengetahui manfaat-manfaat dari kulit manggis tersebut dan bagaimana cara mengolahnya agar dapat dikonsumsi. Pada kesempatan ini, kami melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa sosialisasi pengolahan kulit manggis menjadi teh herbal kulit manggis dan serbuk gula kristal kulit manggis. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Ibu-ibu PKK Blok H, Pamulang Park Residence. Kegiatan berupa sosialisasi manfaatan dan proses pengolahan dari kulit manggis. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan baik, serta diperoleh hasil tingkat kepuasan peserta dari kegiatan yaitu 98,57 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta sangat puas dengan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan.

The Independent Curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intra-curricular learning where the content will be optimized so that students have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. The purpose of this study was to identify and obtain information about the level of readiness of education units in Depok City in implementing the independent curriculum. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method, which describes the subject the situation, and data obtained during observations and questions so that it becomes useful information and is easily understood by readers. The results of this study indicate that the level of readiness for implementing an independent curriculum in schools in high school education units in Depok City, West Java, is still not optimal. Two of the three schools have not implemented an independent curriculum, although the school has received socialization and understanding related to the independent curriculum. The key to the success of implementing an independent curriculum is good collaboration between school principals and teachers. In addition, the principal as a leader must be able to change the mindset of the Human Resources in the school to want to make changes so that the independent curriculum can be applied. Likewise, in the project of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students, it is still limited and has not led to a local culture-based learning model

Napeni beras merupakan kegiatan mencari kualitas beras yang baik berdasarkan dari volume beras, serta membersihkan beras dari pengotornya, berupa las maupun remahan-remahan beras. Kegiatan ini merupakan kearifan lokal yang telah dilakukan secara turun-temurun oleh orang Jawa, di Yogyakarta, di daerah lain kemungkinan ada kebudayaan serupa dengan nama yang berbeda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dan menganalisis gerak pada proses napeni beras sebagai salah satu upaya dalam pelestarian budaya daerah berupa culture knowledge. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan observasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah diketahui gerak beras karena ada gaya dorong pada tampah. Gerak beras tersebut adalah gerak vertikal ke atas dan gerak jatuh bebas. Hanya saja, terdapat beberapa hal yang mempengaruhi gerakan tersebut. diantaranya bentuk benda, volume benda, gaya gesek dengan udara dari beras dan las tersebut. Selain itu, gerakan yang terjadi juga dapat dalam bentuk gerak parabola.

Citra scanning electron microscope (SEM) telah diketahui dapat menghasilkan informasi data morfologi baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif dari suatu sampel dalam skala mikro. Oleh karena itu diperlukan teknik analisis yang tepat dalam mengolah citra SEM untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat. Tujuan dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan yaitu untuk mendapatkan teknik analisis citra SEM dengan menggunakan free software ImageJ. Citra SEM dari serat agave yang sudah diberi perlakuan dengan perendaman dalam larutan natrium hidroksida (NaOH) 5% selama 30 menit diambil tiga variasi perbesaran yaitu 250x, 500x dan 1000x. Parameter yang dianalisis berupa bentuk dan ukuran region of interest (ROI), nilai rata-rata dan penyimpangan pixel. Bentuk ROI yang dipilih yaitu rectangular, elliptical dan freehand, sementara ukuran ROI-nya masing-masing 100.000, 50.000 dan 25.000 pixel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa citra SEM dengan perbesaran 1000x pada ROI model freehand dengan ukuran 25.000 pixel mempunyai persentase standar deviasi yang paling rendah (9,325%). Kesimpulannya dalam menganalisis citra SEM dengan menggunakan aplikasi free software ImageJ direkomendasikan memilih gambar dengan perbesaran paling tinggi, bentuk ROI freehand dan ukuran ROI paling kecil.

Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based questions can train students to develop their reasoning power. Therefore, this study aimed to obtain a HOTS-based test instrument in a feasible computer-based exam on the topic of rotational dynamics and rigid body balance. The research method used in this development research is 4-D, consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The result of this research is the HOTS-based test instrument in a computer-based test that is feasible on the material of rotational dynamics and rigid body balance that meets the validity requirements of material experts and media experts with the lowest V index value of 0.58 and the highest V index value equal to 0.83. The average percentage of the total validation score of material experts obtained were 77.78%, and media experts were 79.44%. Overall, the test instrument has a total media validation score of 78.61%, so that the computer-based HOTS test instrument with testing based on rotational dynamics and rigid body balance is categorized as valid and ready to use.
