Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of financial literacy and promotion on public interest in using Islamic bank savings products in Labuhan Deli District. A quantitative method was used with multiple linear regression analysis, involving a population of 67,806. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, with a total of 100 respondents. This study utilized SPSS version 18, and data were collected through questionnaires. The results showed that promotion has a positive and significant influence on public interest in saving at Islamic banks. Conversely, financial literacy does not have a significant effect on public interest. Although both variables contribute to increasing public interest, promotion plays a more dominant role than financial literacy. Therefore, this study recommends that Islamic banking institutions enhance innovative promotional strategies and strengthen financial literacy education programs to improve public understanding and interest in Islamic savings products.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the impact of GDP, currency exchange rates, and inflation rates, both separately and jointly, on the stock price of the mining companies included in the Jakarta Islamic Index in 2017 to 2022. The panel data analysis used in this study is a study approach, and uses E-Views 12. Estimate findings show that the stock price of the companies included in the Jakarta Islamic Index is significantly influenced by the exchange rate. The price of the index's mining business stocks was significantly affected by the rise in the dollar exchange rate. However, under certain circumstances, the rate of inflation studied is within a stable range, that is, below 10% per year, so the inflation rate is relatively ineffective. Although there is progress in real-sector investment, the limited influence of GDP may be due to the slow rise in investment in capital markets. As a result, the influence of GDP variables on the stock price of mining companies is only small.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of product innovation and service innovation on the saving interest of the millennial generation at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Cemara Asri, Medan. The scope of the study focuses on millennial customers who are the primary target of Islamic banking services. This is a quantitative research using an associative approach. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 21. The results showed that partially, product innovation had a significant effect on saving interest, as did service innovation, which positively contributes to increasing customer interest. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 71.9% indicates that product and service innovation variables simultaneously explain the variability in saving interest. The conclusion of this study is that innovative strategies implemented by Islamic banks, both in terms of product development and digital service enhancement, significantly influence millennials' saving interest. These findings imply that Islamic banks need to continuously strengthen innovation elements to maintain and improve millennial customer loyalty in today’s digital era.
