Abstract

The purpose of research on the role of school principals in building education management is to gain a deeper understanding of the role of school principals in leading, organizing and directing education management activities in schools. Research methodology Library Research Management (LRM) is a type of research methodology used in research in the field of education management. LRM emphasizes the use of library resources as a data source in research. The role of the principal is very important in building good educational management in the school environment. The principal as the main leader in the school is responsible for developing appropriate strategies and policies to improve the quality of education in his school. In building effective education management, school principals must be able to understand their roles and responsibilities, and have sufficient managerial skills to manage existing resources in schools.

Abstract

 The purpose of this article is to explain education management, the profession of the school principal plays a very important role in ensuring the success of an educational institution. A school principal acts as a leader and manager, responsible for creating a conducive learning environment, managing resources, and ensuring the delivery of quality education. The method used in collecting data using library research or library research is a research method that is carried out by utilizing information sources available in the library, such as books, journals, articles, and other sources of information. The purpose of library research is to collect and analyze data or information about a topic or problem being researched. The results of the analysis of several reference sources reveal that school principals must have good leadership and management skills, and have extensive knowledge of the principles of education management. Principals must also be able to adapt to changes in the dynamic educational environment, and have the ability to lead and develop teaching staff and motivate students in achieving the desired educational goals. Abstract

The implementation of curriculum management is a series of resource management activities in implementing curriculum for the quality improvement. The purpose of this study was to find out how the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum in improving the quality of graduates in the pesantren KH. Ahmad Dahlan Sipirok. This study uses a qualitative method. The technique of collecting data is by interview, observation, and document review. In addition, data and information are analyzed by data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study were (1) curriculum planning was established by the madrasa leadership, MGMP, and teachers through curriculum planning meetings by making madrasa / pesantren education calendars, calculating effective working days for each subject, compiling annual programs, compiling semester programs, and implementing lesson plans as the direction of achieving academic quality and non-academic graduates, (2) the implementation of curriculum programs included learning using the curriculum of Diknas and pesantren through face-to-face learning, practice in mosques, halls, laboratories, and learning activities so that there were guidelines and targets achievement of the quality of graduates, (3) the implementation of curriculum evaluation included classroom supervision activities, learning evaluation, both formative and summative, and curriculum evaluation meetings at the end of the academic year which showed the achievement of the target of improving the quality of graduates could be seen from the fulfillment of minimum completeness criteria high and graduation of santri.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze various school principal leadership models that play a role in improving the quality of education through literature study. Principal leadership is recognized as a key factor in determining the quality and success of the educational process. This study examines literature related to instructional, transformational, visionary, participatory, and situational leadership models, and how the application of these models can contribute to improving the quality of education. The results of the literature review show that each leadership model has different strengths and weaknesses, and its effectiveness often depends on the specific context of the school. These findings also indicate that school principals who are able to integrate elements from various leadership models tend to be more successful in creating an educational environment that is oriented towards improving quality. This literature study provides theoretical insights that are useful for educational researchers and practitioners in developing effective leadership strategies to achieve goals in improving the quality of education.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy are basic skills that are very important in supporting educational success. Literacy involves the ability to read, write, and understand information, while numeracy includes logical and mathematical abilities used in everyday life. This article aims to analyze the role of educational management in improving literacy and numeracy based on a literature review from national and international journals. This study found that effective management strategies, such as the application of transformational leadership and a data-driven approach, have a significant influence on improving these competencies. By integrating these strategies, educational managers can create programs that are more adaptive, evidence-based, and relevant to students' needs. This article also presents strategic recommendations to improve the quality of literacy and numeracy sustainably.

Abstract

Organizational culture plays an important role in supporting the effectiveness of principal leadership and performance. This article aims to review various studies that discuss the relationship between organizational culture, leadership, and principal performance. Through a literature review approach, this study analyzes the results of previous studies to find the relationship between these elements. A strong organizational culture has been shown to have a significant impact on the effectiveness of principal leadership, because it can create a conducive work environment, increase collaboration, and strengthen the commitment of organizational members to common goals. In addition, an inclusive and learning-oriented organizational culture supports principals in managing operational and strategic challenges, including managing conflict and resistance to change. This study also revealed that transformational leadership plays a major role in leveraging organizational culture to create innovation and improve performance. Principals who succeed in building a positive organizational culture often demonstrate flexibility and ability to face the dynamics of modern education. By understanding the core values ??of organizational culture, principals can build harmonious relationships with teachers, staff, and students, thereby creating a better learning environment. The results of the study also show that a weak organizational culture can be an obstacle to achieving educational goals. In this condition, the principal needs to take strategic steps to strengthen the organizational culture, including involving all school members in the decision-making process and increasing teacher participation in curriculum development. A strong organizational culture not only improves the performance of the principal but also has a positive impact on student learning outcomes and staff job satisfaction. This study makes an important contribution to understanding the relationship between organizational culture, leadership, and principal performance. By integrating findings from various studies, this article provides recommendations for principals, policy makers, and educational researchers to focus on strengthening organizational culture as a primary strategy in improving the quality of education. This study also opens up opportunities for further research that can explore specific ways to integrate organizational culture with adaptive leadership styles

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze how principal leadership development occurs through experiential learning. This study uses a literature review method to examine various literatures related to the concept of principal leadership and experiential learning. In the context of ever-evolving education, principals face complex challenges, ranging from policy changes to technology integration. The results of the study indicate that structured reflection, mentoring, practice-based training, and institutional support are key elements in leadership development. Reflection allows principals to evaluate decisions and actions in depth, while mentoring provides direct guidance from more experienced leaders to overcome real challenges. Practice-based training, such as leadership simulations and case studies, helps principals improve their skills in making strategic decisions. In addition, institutional support plays an important role by providing resources, supportive policies, and a conducive environment for continuous learning. This article recommends a holistic approach that integrates these elements to create an effective and relevant leadership development strategy in various educational contexts. With a systematic experience-based approach, principals are expected to be able to become adaptive, innovative, and effective learning leaders in facing the challenges of 21st century education.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of transformational leadership and organizational culture on police performance at the Aceh Tamiang Police Department. It examines whether job satisfaction mediates this relationship. The research utilizes an associative approach and involves all Aceh Tamiang Police personnel as the population. A stratified random sample of 96 personnel was selected for the study. Transformational leadership variable and organizational culture variable serve as independent variables, while police performance variable is the dependent variable. Job satisfaction acts as an intervening variable. Data analysis employs descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modelling, with a Partial Least Squares approach. The findings demonstrate a positive effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on police performance. This effect operates both directly and indirectly through increased job satisfaction among police officers. It means that a transformational leadership style and positive organizational culture can increase members' job satisfaction, ultimately impacting their performance. In other words, to improve the performance of police officers, efforts need to be made to increase the transformational leadership of leaders and strengthen a positive organizational culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan motivasi sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian survei yang bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 62 responden yang merupakan pegawai Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah dengan menggunakan wawancara dan penyebaran angket/ kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (SmartPls) untuk menguji 7 (tujuh) hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi, Budaya Organisasi  memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi, dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui motivasi sebagai variabel intervening dan budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh  positif dan signifikan secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui motivasi sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dapat menjadi intervening antara gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai.
