Abstract

Radiasi merupakan pancaran energi melalui suatu materi atau ruang dalam bentuk energi, panas, partikel atau gelombang yang dapat diserap oleh bahan lain. Beberapa radiasi dapat mengionisasi bahan yang dilaluinya salah satunya radiasi neutron karena memiliki daya tembus yang tinggi sehingga sangat diperlukan perisai radiasi. Adapun kriteria dari perisai radiasi neutron harus memiliki kandungan hidrogen yang tinggi, memiliki nilai tampang lintang yang baik dan tidak bersifat korosi. Bahan UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethyene) memiliki kandungan hidrogen yang tinggi dan tidak mudah korosi dan bahan Gadolinium oxide (Gd2O3) sangat baik menyerap neutron karena mempunyai tampang lintang serapan neutron yang tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dibuat komposit UHMWPE-Gd2O3 dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan nilai serapan neutron sehingga dalam aplikasinya bisa lebih efektif untuk memperlambat bahkan menahan radiasi neutron. Telah dilakukan karakterisasi bahan perisai radiasi neutron yang dibuat sendiri dengan teknik radiografi neutron. Bahan perisai radiasi dibuat dengan bahan utama UHMWPE dan penambahan filler Gadolinium Oxide (Gd2O3) dengan kompoisisi 70% : 30% massa menggunakan metode blending dan kompaksi. Bahan dibuat dengan ketebalan yang bervariasi dari 0,5 cm hingga 2 cm. Hasil karakterisasi XRD menunjukkan tidak terbentuk senyawa kimia antara kedua bahan dan karakterisasi menggunakan SEM terlihat hasil distribusi unsur yang terkandung dalam filler Gd2O3 merata pada bahan dasar polimer. Pengujian serapan neutron menggunakan teknik radiografi neutron dengan metode film. Dengan penambahan variasi ketebalan meningkatkan daya serap bahan dari 58,78% menjadi 67,89% dan nilai koefisien atenuasi diperoleh sebesar 1,025.Kata kunci: perisai radiasi, UHMWPE,Gd2O3, radiografi neutron, daya serap dan koefisien  atenuasi.

Abstract

Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi menuntut peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan perbaikan, perubahan dan pembaharuan terhadap aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pendidikan meliputi pelaksanaan penantaran guru, meningkatkan kualifikasi pendidikan guru menyempurnakan kurikulum, sarana dan prasarana serta metode pembelajaran. Aspek-aspek yang paling dominan adalah guru dan peserta didik. pembelajaran fisika yang terjadi yaitu pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru, Peserta didik kurang aktif dalam pemebelajaran dan rendahnya hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik, diperlukan model pembelajaran yang untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sehingga dilakukan penelitian ini. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh efektifitas model pembelajaran team quiz terhadap hasil berlajar siswa SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian Ekperimen dengan bentuk Pre-ekperimen, dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest dan Posttest Design. Dari analisis data tes akhir, terlihat bahwa terdapat efektivitas model pembelajaran team quiz pada mata pelajaran fisika peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci pada konsep tekanan zat. Dapat di lihat dari uji t diperoleh = 21,16 dan = 0,71 sehingga > . Hal ini berarti ditolak dan diterima. Dari hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa : “Terdapat efektivitas model pembelajaran team quiz pada mata pelajaran fisika Siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci pada konsep tekanan zat.”

Abstract

The designing of high school / Islamic high school physics comic teaching materials has been done to improve students' critical thinking skills in Newton's Law material. The purpose of this research is to determine to develop a physics comic for high school / Islamic high school based on problem-based learning (PBL) to improve the creative thinking skills of students at MAN Sebukar. The research method used is the research and development method, namely the 4D development method which consists of 4 phases: defining, designing, developing and disseminating. At the defining stage, need analysis on curriculum, students, and materials were carried out. The designing stage was done by designing high school / Islamic high school physics comics based on problem based learning to improve students' creative thinking skills. At the developing stage, validity, practicality and effectiveness tests were carried out. Furthermore, the disseminating stage also carried out the practicality and effectiveness tests. At the defining stage, the analysis on results of the students’ score showed the low acquisition of students competencies is due to the low creative thinking skills of students, so a teaching material is designed that is in accordance with the student's needs, materials, and learning objectives that is expected to improve students’ learning competence, namely physics comics for senior high school students/Islamic senior high school students. Furthermore, at the designing stage, an initial draft of PBL-based for / Islamic high school physics comics was made in accordance with the curriculum used in the school where the research was conducted. And in the next stage, namely the developing stage, the analysis results were obtained from the development of physics comics for high school / Islamic high school which have valid (0.85), practical (94.67%), and effective criteria for skill assessment that are judges as very good category. And the final stage after developing stage, namely the disseminating stage, researchers carried out practicality and effectiveness tests in different classes and the practicality test results were obtained in the very practical category, namely 94.33% from students’ response questionnaires and effectiveness test results from the assessment of students knowledge with a percentage of completeness reaching 82.33. % in the very good category, the students' attitude competency reached an average score of 87.43% in the very good category, the skills competency reached an average score of 89.17% with the very good category. The designing of PBL-based high school / Islamic high school physics comics is able to improve students' creative thinking skill since it eventually gives impact on students’ scores.

Abstract

Abstrak: Berdasarkan pengamatan, banyak mahasiswa yang mendapat nilai di bawah KKM untuk mata pelajaran fisika sebanyak 75 orang. Hal ini disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya adalah model pembelajaran nonkonstruktivisme, untuk mengatasi masalah ini guru sebagai salah satu penentu keberhasilan belajar harus mampu menggunakan berbagai model pembelajaran yang konstruktivis. Beberapa model pembelajaran yang menggunakan filosofi konstruktivisme adalah model pembelajaran inkuiri dan model pembelajaran penemuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran penemuan bagi siswa kelas XI MIA di SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci, Provinsi Jambi. Populasi diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling dimana sampelnya terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri dan XI MIA 2 dengan model discovery learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen yang termasuk dalam Quasy Experiment. Dari hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari tes pembelajaran akhir, hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas hasil belajar kedua kelas sampel tersebut menunjukkan bahwa data kedua kelas sampel tersebut secara normal terdistribusi dan homogen, sehingga uji-t digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis. Dari hasil perhitungan, nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 1 = 75,3 sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 2 = 80. Karena t hitungan = 26,65 dan t tabel= 1,67 berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yaitu hasil siswa belajar fisika dengan model discovery learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa belajar fisika dengan model discovery learning di kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci, Provinsi Jambi.Abstract:  Based on observations, there were many students who scored below the KKM for physics subjects of 75. This was caused by many factors, one of which was a non-constructivism learning model, to overcome this problem the teacher as one of the determinants of learning success must be able to use various constructivist learning models. Several learning models that use the philosophy of constructivism are the inquiry learning model and the discovery learning model. The purpose of this research is to find out the comparison between the learning outcomes of students using the inquiry learning model and the learning outcomes of students using the discovery learning model for class XI MIA students at SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci, Jambi Province. The population was taken using a random sampling technique where the sample was 2 classes, namely class XI MIA 1 with inquiry learning model and XI MIA 2 with discovery learning model. This type of research is an experiment included in the Quasy Experiment. From the learning outcomes obtained from the final learning test, the results of the normality and homogeneity test of the learning outcomes of the two sample classes showed that the data of the two sample classes were normally distributed and homogeneous, so that the t-test was used to test the hypothesis. From the calculation results, the average value of the experimental class 1 = 75.3 while the average value of the experimental class 2 = 80. Because t count = 26.65 and t table= 1.67 means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely the results students learning physics with discovery learning model is higher than students learning physics with discovery learning model in class XI SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci, Jambi Province.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran merupakan alat bantu pendidik yang dapat membantu proses penyampaian pelajaran, tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran, dan guru diharapkan menyiapkan media pembelajaran yang kreatif, serta berfikir inovatif untuk mendesain media pembelajaran agar mampu menarik perhatian peserta didik. Peserta didik kurang memahami materi yang di sampaikan guru, sehingga mereka tidak mampu menyimpulkan materi yang disampaikan. Terlihat dari data hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan hanya 62,93%. Guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif agar dapat mendorong pemahaman peserta didik dan minat belajar peserta didik terhadap. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan menggunakan media  pembelajaran berbasis Canva. Dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva dilakukan beberapa tahap pengujian salah satunya tahap pengujian Validitas untuk mengetaahui layak atau tidaknya media pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Dengan model pengembangan 4-D (Four D) Instrumen penelitian yang dilakukan menentukan kevalidan, praktikalitas, dan efektifitas media pembelajaran Canva dalam penerapannya. Untuk mengetahui validitas media yang dikembangkan, maka dibuat angket respon ahli yang dibagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu validasi media dan validasi materi. Hasil dari penelitian ini  dihitung menggunaakan rumus Aiken’s dan diperoleh rata-rata nilai vaiditas media pembelajaran berbasis Canva yaitu 0,85 dengan kategori “Valid”. Serta hasil uji validitas ahli materi dan ahli bahasa media pembelajaran Canva dengan rata-rata 0,713 dengan kategori Valid yang tinggi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Canva pada materi Impuls dan Momentum kelas X TBSM valid dan layak digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the team quiz learning method in the physics subject for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci. This type of research is experimental research with a pre-experimental form, the design of the research design is One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study were all 82 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci, consisting of 37 male students and 45 female students. From the learning outcomes obtained from the final test after learning, based on the normality and homogeneity tests of the learning outcomes data for one class of the sample, it was found that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, so the t-test was used to test the hypothesis. From the calculation results, the average posttest result = 78.61 while the average pretest result = 46.19. Because ????ℎ????????????????????= 21.16 and ????????????????????????= 1.71 means ????0 is rejected and ????1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is effectiveness of the team quiz learning method in the physics subject for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations at SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci, it is necessary to have meaningful learning that is able to involve students in all the activities carried out in the learning. The flipped classroom model is an alternative in the successful implementation of the independent curriculum. Besides that, the low student learning outcomes in learning and student learning activities need to be activated, this can be seen from the completeness of student learning which only reaches less than 45% and many student scores are below the KKM. role playing models in learning. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of Pre-cycle, Cycle I, Cycle II and Cycle III. Each cycle ends with an evaluation. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out then the findings are analyzed in the field so that it can be concluded that the use of the flipped classroom model in increasing student learning activities for the development of an independent curriculum can increase student learning activities at SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci.

Abstract

In the era of technology and information that continues to develop, the use of interactive learning media is an important focus in education. However, in-depth research is still needed to test the effectiveness of SwishMax-based interactive learning media in improving student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of SwishMax-based interactive learning media on Newton's law material and its application in class VIII SMP. The method used in this research is 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) in the development of learning media. This research trial involved students and teachers to collect data on the practicality of the developed learning media. The results showed that SwishMax-based interactive learning media was very practical for students to use in learning with a practicality percentage of 89.37%. In addition, this learning media was also found to be very practical when used in other classes. In conclusion, interactive learning media based on SwishMax on Newton's Laws and Their Applications in class VIII of junior high school meets the criteria of being very practical and effective.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum implemented in Indonesia aims to prepare students to face the global challenges of the 21st century, by placing emphasis on the development of critical, creative, collaborative, and effective communication skills. The curriculum is designed to equip students with relevant competencies in an ever-changing world, while developing the positive character and attitudes needed in society. This article aims to examine the role of the Independent Curriculum in the development of 21st century competencies at the high school level through a literature review approach. Based on a review of various relevant literature, it was found that the Independent Curriculum provides opportunities for students to develop core competencies in the 21st century, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and having effective communication skills. This can be achieved through the application of a project-based learning approach that encourages students to learn through direct experience, authentic assessments that better describe the achievement of student competencies in real contexts, and strengthening the Pancasila student profile which is the foundation of student character. The Pancasila student profile itself prioritizes attitudes such as diversity, independence, and social responsibility, which are very relevant to the needs of the increasingly complex world of work and global society. The results of this study show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum can strengthen students' skills that are indispensable to face the challenges of the dynamic world of work and prepare them to become active and adaptive citizens in a global society. Thus, the Independent Curriculum has an important role in shaping the young generation who not only have knowledge, but also skills and attitudes that are in accordance with the demands of the times.
