Abstract

Repeat breeding is a syndrome which affected the reproduction and production efficacy of dairy cattle. Dairy cow is one of an animals which produce milk. This syndrome may cause high economic losses in dairy cattle farm. This research was conducted from February to March 2023. The aim of this research was to determine the correlation of body condition score and parity of repeat breeding on the dairy cow at Tani Wilis Cooperation, Sendang, Tulungagung. A total of 46 dairy cows that contributed to the repeat breeding were used in this study. Sampling was done by purposive sampling with the following condition the date AI and the date of parturition. This research was conducted in a survei with primary and secondary data collection. Primary data retrieval is done by interviewing farmers, body condition score of each dairy cow, and direct observation. As for the secondary data obtained by recording the card Artificial Insemination (AI) owned by inseminator. Data were analyzed using correlate statistics followed by Spearmann Test. The result of the research indicated that no significant difference (P>0,05) in body condition score and parity.

Abstract

Background: Microbial contamination in consumed chicken eggs can endanger human health. Bacteria can grow and develop in food so that it can reduce the food quality. Determination of food quality can be done by various methods, one of which is Total Plate Count (TPC). Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the level of bacterial contamination in chicken eggs sold at traditional markets in Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. Methods: Thirty samples were collected from two traditional markets, Waru Market and Wadung Asri Market. This study used the pour plate method of TPC test. Egg contents were diluted and then inoculated in Nutrient Agar. The media inoculated with the sample suspension was incubated at 37°C for 24 hours. The growing bacterial colonies were counted and analyzed using the Standard Plate Count. This study's data are presented descriptively and compared with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 7388-2009 maximum requirement of contaminant bacteria in chicken eggs is 1×105 CFU/mL. Results: The results showed that the averages TPC in two traditional markets were 2.1×104 CFU/mL in Waru Market and 3.4×103 CFU/mL in Wadung Asri Market. The average TPC still meets the maximum limit of microbial contamination listed in SNI 7388-2009. Conclusion: The average values of TPC in both markets are not the same, but the qualities of chicken eggs sold in Waru Market and Wadung Asri Market are good and suitable for consumption.

Abstract

Untuk memilih proses perlakuan panas yang tepat untuk aplikasi industri baja karbon medium S45C, perlu diketahui pengaruh parameter teknologi selama proses perlakuan panas seperti suhu pemanasan, waktu penahanan dan media pendingin terhadap struktur mikro dan sifat mekanik. Penelitian ini tujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh temperatur temper terhadap struktur mikro dan sifat mekanik pada baja karbon sedang S45C  sebagai material JIG. Menggunakan metode eksperimen, berupa perlakuan panas pada fasa austenit temperatur 825OC waktu penahanan 30 menit, dicelup cepat pada media oli, dan dilanjutkan variasi temperatur temper 200 OC, 250 OC, dan 300 OC serta waktu tahan 30 menit. Pengujian ukuran kristal, kerapatan dislokasi, dan regangan mikro kisi menggunakan difraktometer sina-X (XRD) dihitung menggunakan persamaan Derby Schrerre, dan uji kekerasan dengan skala Brinell. Hasil analisa struktur mikro menunjukkan bahwa rerata ukuran kristal mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan setelah proses pemanasan mulai dari fase austenit, dicelup cepat media oli dan ditemper. Namun untuk kerapatan dislokasi dan regangan mikro kisi mengalami penurunan. Hasil uji kekerasan dan kuat tarik memperlihatkan kenaikan dengan temperatur temper ditambahkan

Abstract

Surya Home Industry adalah sebuah usaha yang bergerak dalam pengolahan daging sapi menjadi abon. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan mengkaji nilai tambah, keuntungan, dan efisiensi industri pengolahan daging sapi. Dalam penelitian ini diterapkan metode analisis kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Penentuan Lokasi dan narasumber dengan purposive. Data yang dianalisis mencakup data primer yang diperoleh langsung oleh peneliti dan data sekunder yang bersumber dari data yang telah ada. Peneliti memperoleh data dengan cara melakukan wawancara, mengamati secara langsung (observasi), dan mengumpulkan dokumen-dokumen yang terkait. Metode analisis data meliputi pendekatan nilai tambah (Hayami), rasio laba dan efisiensi (R/C ratio). Penelitian menunjukkan hasil nilai tambah sebesar 653.706 Rp/kg dengan tingkat nilai tambah sebesar 51,88%. Pengolahan abon di Surya Home Industry menghasilkan 1.386 kg/bulan dengan laba sebesar Rp96.110.694,42 setiap bulan, dan memiliki nilai efisiensi sebesar 1,98.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan persepsi konsumen, pengetahuan produk, kelompok acuan, lingkungan dan situasi konsumen, serta keputusan pembelian terhadap kopi rebus robusta Merapi di Warung Kopi Merapi, (2) menganalisis pengaruh persepsi konsumen, pengetahuan produk, kelompok acuan, serta lingkungan dan situasi konsumen terhadap keputusan pembelian kopi rebus robusta Merapi di Warung Kopi Merapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sampel ditentukan melalui accidental sampling sebanyak 60 responden, dengan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa (1) Konsumen menilai positif kualitas rasa dan harga kopi rebus robusta Merapi, memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang produk, serta dipengaruhi kelompok acuan melalui rekomendasi dan pengalaman bersama. Lingkungan dan situasi, seperti suasana dan kenyamanan warung, juga berperan, sementara keputusan pembelian didorong oleh keyakinan, pengalaman, dan kepuasan terhadap kopi rebus robusta Merapi, (2) Persepsi konsumen, pengetahuan produk, kelompok acuan, serta lingkungan dan situasi konsumen berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian kopi rebus robusta Merapi di Warung Kopi Merapi.

Abstract

Polypropylene composite material is an environmentally friendly material when compared to other polymer materials because the composition of polypropylene is only 76% and the remaining 24% is limestone. The use of this composite material is to reduce dependence on the use of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Acrylic Styrene (AS) resins because both materials are difficult to decompose and recycle. The "base" product made from this material has a warpage defect that causes a gap effect when the product is installed with other components. Therefore, a study was conducted on the effect of mold temperature and holding pressure on warpage defects, shrinkage, tensile strength and surface morphology. This study used an experimental method with variations in mold temperature used were 20°C, 40°C, and 60°C, variations in holding pressure used were 70 bar, 110 bar, and 150 bar. Testing was carried out by measuring dimensions to determine warpage, shrinkage percentage, measuring tensile strength and observing surface structure. The warpage value decreases by 29% at high mold temperatures and increases by 84% at high holding pressure. The shrinkage percentage decreases with increasing mold temperature and holding pressure in the transverse direction by 7.14%-9.52% at constant pressure and 25%-26.29% at constant temperature, in the longitudinal direction by 1.27%-6.21% at constant pressure and 13.92%-17.95% at constant temperature. The optimal parameters to obtain the highest tensile strength of 26.77 MPa are at a mold temperature of 60°C and a holding pressure of 110 bar.
