Abstract

Enhancing students' critical and creative thinking skills is a crucial objective in education. Numerous studies have explored effective teaching methods to foster these skills, with models such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), the STEM-5E Learning Cycle, and the 7E Learning Cycle showing significant promise. This study aims to develop and validate a worksheet designed to enhance critical and creative thinking in elementary school students using the 7E Learning Cycle, following the ADDIE instructional design model. The study was conducted with fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Pasir Gintung, Lampung province of Indonesia, with two classes serving as the sample: Class IV A as the experimental group and Class IV B as the control group. Product validation indicated a high level of effectiveness, with a material average score of 0.833, a language component score of 0.693, and a media aspect score of 0.917. The test tool, validated as part of the research product, achieved an average score of 0.733. Instructor feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with a 98% approval rate, while student feedback indicated a 94% satisfaction rate, both underscoring the product's practical value. Post-test results from the experimental group demonstrated a significant improvement in critical and creative thinking skills, with an average score of 89.49, markedly higher than the control group. These findings provide empirical evidence supporting the effectiveness of the 7E Learning Cycle in enhancing critical and creative thinking through the use of the developed worksheet in educational settings.

Abstract

Object tracking is a challenging in computer vision. Object tracking is divided into two, which can be one object or several objects, depending on the object being observed. The process of tracking an object in the form of one object is to estimate the target in the next sequence based on information from the first frame given. In object tracking in the form of single object tracking, there are five steps that are often used in discriminatory methods, including motion models, feature extraction, observation models, model updates and integration methods. Although various algorithms of object tracking are proposed, there are still failures in the object tracking process caused by occlusion, non-rigid target deformation, and other factors. This study proposes the implementation of the Kalman filter, particle filter, and correlation filter methods for object tracking in video data. The results of the implementation of the three methods can track objects in traffic video data and the script circuit video. In object tracking calculations and method analysis, the kalman filter gets 96.89% where the kalman method is better in terms of accuracy compared to other methods. Meanwhile, in the average performance of computation time, the correlation method gets 26.69 FPS, where the correlation method is superior compared to other competitor methods. Abstract

Tanaman obat memiliki manfaat besar dalam menyembuhkan berbagai penyakit. Banyak masyarakat yang menggunakan tanaman obat sebagai sumber tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA). Bagian tanaman yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai obat adalah daun. Daun sulit diidentifikasi karena banyak daun yang memiliki bentuk dan warna yang mirip. Oleh karena itu, pengolahan citra dengan K-Means Clustering diterapkan untuk membantu mengidentifikasi daun tanaman obat. Citra akan discaling menjadi 600 x 800 piksel. Ciri tekstur pada citra akan dihitung menggunakan Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM). GLCM menghasilkan nilai numerik yang kemudian digunakan untuk proses K-Means Clustering. K-Means Clustering akan mengelompokkan citra berdasarkan kesamaan nilai fitur dan centroid terdekatnya. Jumlah cluster optimal yaitu k=3 berdasarkan perhitungan nilai SSE. Hasil penelitian 900 dataset citra daun terbagi menjadi 3 cluster dengan akurasi tertinggi 51,54% pada cluster 2 yang memprediksi daun binahong. Proses K-Means Clustering kurang baik dikarenakan penetuan nilai centroid berpengaruh terhadap hasil cluster. K-Means Clustering diimplementasikan ke dalam sistem web menggunakan flask.

Abstract

Lahan pertanian membutuhkan nutrisi yang seimbang untuk menjaga produktivitas dan keberlanjutan lahan. Penggunaan pupuk anorganik dan agrokimia sintetik yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas tanah dan produktivitas tanaman. Penggunaan pupuk organik sebagai alternatif alami dapat membantu menjaga kesehatan tanah dan meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat, terutama petani di Desa Boga Tama 2, tentang pentingnya praktik pertanian berkelanjutan dan penggunaan pupuk organik cair sebagai alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Metode penyuluhan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan praktik langsung pembuatan serta aplikasi pupuk organik cair. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan kerjasama petani lokal dan menggunakan peralatan yang dibutuhkan. Mayoritas petani di Desa Boga Tama 2 menggunakan pupuk kimia, yang mengakibatkan penurunan produktivitas. Melalui sosialisasi dan demonstrasi praktis, mahasiswa KKN berhasil mengedukasi masyarakat tentang manfaat dan cara pembuatan serta aplikasi pupuk organik cair. Pembuatan dan aplikasi pupuk organik cair dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah tertentu untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan manfaatnya bagi tanaman. Penggunaan pupuk organik cair merupakan alternatif efektif dalam meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian dan menjaga keberlanjutan lahan. Sosialisasi tentang praktik pertanian berkelanjutan dan penggunaan pupuk organik cair diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya lingkungan dan efisiensi sumber daya.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mengubah cara masyarakat berkomunikasi, bekerja, dan belajar, dengan komunikasi digital dan pembelajaran daring menjadi lebih dominan. Transformasi ini juga mempengaruhi dunia kerja dengan meningkatkan produktivitas melalui otomatisasi dan kolaborasi daring. Namun, tantangan seperti kesenjangan digital, privasi, dan keamanan masih perlu diatasi. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk melakukan transfer pengetahuan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang berbagai jenis teknologi informasi. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Jati Indah, Kecamatan Tanjung Bintang, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, berlangsung sukses dan lancar. Pelatihan yang dihadiri oleh 30 peserta dari berbagai kalangan masyarakat dan perangkat desa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi terhadap topik dampak teknologi informasi. Penyampaian materi yang interaktif dan relevan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta, dibuktikan oleh hasil evaluasi yang positif dimana sebanyak 83,4% peserta memahami materi disampaikan dengan baik dan efektif.

Abstract

Good air quality is essential for healthy and sustainable living, but increasing air pollution caused by industrialization, urbanization, and motor vehicles has become a serious global issue. Air pollution negatively affects health, the environment, and the quality of life, making air quality monitoring and assessment a priority. The complexity of air quality data renders conventional analytical approaches less effective; therefore, machine learning methods such as Random Forest and Neural Networks have been applied to address these challenges. However, these methods have limitations in handling non-linear patterns or computational efficiency. This study employs the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm with various kernels to classify air quality based on pollution and environmental parameters into categories of Good, Moderate, Poor, and Hazardous. The results indicate that the Polynomial Kernel performs best for the Good category, while the RBF Kernel is also competitive but less optimal for the Hazardous and Poor categories. With parameter optimization using GridSearchCV, the combination of C=10 and Gamma=0.1 or scale achieved an average accuracy of 90.75%. CO concentration and proximity to industrial areas proved to be significant features in classification. This study aims to support air pollution management and mitigate its impacts on society.

Abstract

Kegiatan Sosialisasi Pembuatan Briket Bonggol Jagung ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan limbah jagung yang bernilai ekonomi yakni berupa briket bonggol jagung sebagai sumber energi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Adanya sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat terciptanya Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah di kalangan masyarakat Desa Jabung mengingat mayoritas hasil pertanian dari Desa Jabung berupa Jagung. Kegiatan ini meliputi percobaan dan demonstrasi pembuatan briket di Desa Jabung pada 29 Juli 2024. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan briket bertekstur padat, berkadar air rendah, dan mudah menyala tanpa asap. Kegiatan ini meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk membentuk usaha pembuatan briket, berpotensi meningkatkan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Testing on a system is carried out to determine whether a system that is built will run properly or if there are still bugs or errors that must be fixed. There are many methods in testing a system or software, one that is widely used by testers is the Black-box testing method. In this study the software that will be tested is an information system for the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) Lecture Movement Ayo Lecture (GAK) recommendation information system. This information system is a system intended to provide information about the GAK program. In addition, this system is also expected to help optimize business processes in selecting applicants for KIP Lecture recommendations later. In implementing the GAK system, it is first necessary to test the system. System testing is one of the stages that cannot be eliminated in the development of a software. In testing, this system is tested using Black Box Testing in the hope of minimizing errors and ensuring that the system built has results that are in accordance with what is expected. Abstract

Over the past two decades, one of the most common reproductive problems has been infertility. Infertility is a disease of the reproductive system characterized by the inability to conceive after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the reproductive rate has declined drastically, with male infertility now accounting for 36 percent of cases, often due to abnormalities in sperm production. Currently, infertility screening is still done manually, evaluating sperm samples using a microscope, which often produces inconsistent results. However, advances in computer technology have resulted in significant research aimed at improving the analysis of male sperm infertility. This study utilized deep learning technology to identify sperm using the YOLOv5 method. This study involved several stages with data collection using 1330 photos with 2 classes, namely sperm and non-sperm in video format. The second stage involved preprocessing the dataset, which included data extraction, cropping, resizing, and labeling the data for training. The final stage involved testing the trained model to detect and classify sperm based on morphology. The experimental results show that the proposed method is effective in accurately classifying sperm images and analyzing motion videos from recorded video data with a mAP result of 73.1 percent.Therefore, in the context of this study, the YOLOv5 model is considered efficient in detecting and classifying objects, both sperm and non-sperm.

Abstract

Perusahaan sering menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan stok dan ketersediaan barang akibat pencatatan yang tidak terorganisir. Untuk mengatasi masalah belum adanya pendekatan sistem manajemen gudang yang adaptif dan real-time berbasis framework, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem manajemen gudang terintegrasi dengan QR Code real-time. Pada studi ini, sistem dibangun menggunakan JavaScript framework (ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS) dan dikembangkan menggunakan metodologi Scrum. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan kinerja sistem yang baik dalam pengelolaan data, akurasi laporan, dan kemudahan transaksi. Meskipun fitur QR Code memerlukan optimasi lebih lanjut pada aspek aksesibilitas dan penggunaan real-time, sistem ini mampu meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi pengelolaan gudang, serta mempermudah pelacakan barang. Pengembangan selanjutnya dapat berfokus pada penyempurnaan fitur QR Code dan eksplorasi integrasi yang lebih luas.
