Employing a random sampling method, Class VA was selected as the experimental group, and class VB was chosen as the control group at Tlahap Public Elementary School, Temanggung Regency. Data collection was conducted via observation, questionnaires, and tests. Instruments were previously tested using the content validity method. Data analysis utilized analysis of variance with a significance level of 5%. Prerequisite tests were conducted before treatment, including a normality distribution test and a homogeneity of variance test. The results indicated normal and homogeneous distribution. Analysis of variance t-test on posttest data of the experimental and control groups showed a probability value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The average posttest score of the experimental class was 85.57, while the control was 77.14. Abstract

This study examines the acceptance of grief and changes in family dynamics shown in the film "Bila Esok Ibu Tiada" by Rudy Soedjarwo. The film focuses on the emotional journey of a family facing the loss of a mother, raising a deep theme of how each family member goes through the process of accepting grief. Using a hermeneutic approach, the study explores the different stages of grief identified by Kübler-Ross, including denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, to show how the characters interact and cope with loss. The results of the analysis show that the film not only depicts the grief of loss, but also the far-reaching impact on relationships between family members, where the experience of grief can create conflict and strengthen bonds. The journal provides insights into the representation of grieving experiences in cultural contexts, and how film can serve as a medium for understanding and reflecting on the complex dynamics in family life after loss.

Abstract

The descriptive text is one of the important learning materials in Indonesian language lessons for seventh-grade junior high school students. However, there are still several problems that occur in the learning process of descriptive texts. Based on the analysis of these learning problems, it was found that no innovative learning media have been optimally utilized. In addition, the learning of descriptive texts still relies heavily on textbooks, making it less contextual. Therefore, developing a board game as a learning medium for descriptive texts that integrates local wisdom is important. The method used is research and development (RD) with the ADDIE model. The product was validated by experts, including material experts, learning media experts, and practitioners. Furthermore, at the evaluation stage, user response tests involving teachers and students were conducted to assess the board game medium. Based on the product validation and response tests, the board game learning medium was declared feasible for use. AbstrakThe descriptive text is one of the important learning materials in Indonesian language lessons for seventh-grade junior high school students.
