Abstract

This article discusses about presentation of spiritualitty the traditional society in Jatisaba novels by Ramayda Akmal. Spirituality was the core which is one reason that someone in entities do something. Spirituality also a top to be achieved by someone after do something.  Be spiritual means has ties more on this to be a chaplaincy and psychological compared with this to be physical and material. Meaning spirituality understood as a series of characteristic motivasional, the emotional common cause, direct and choose diverse mannerisms individuals. Individuals will try to building an understanding of goals and purport to live in. Spirituality open the door to expand understanding of motivation and goal individuals. Transdensi spiritual individual reflect the ability to stand erect build lives of sight more plural, with the realization and meaning deeper accompained purport to the purpose live in a relationship that more enduring; relationship with one God. The individual is a part comunity. Spirituality community to describe in this novels identified by a set of an idea or ideas related to the belief system. The belief system in perspective anthropology includes two things interconected, there are the system religious and religious ceremony.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of preservice elementary teacher ability in poetry writing containing character education with local wisdom persepective. Mix method research approach is used with research design is triangulation design. The research subjects were 35 students of the elementary school teacher education program. The data were obtained through the technique of writing poetry tests and interviews. The analysis of the test used aspects of poetry writing skills. The research findings provide views that students have been able to write poetry with their own imagination, include the meaning of poetry, the advice, and are able to integrate character values with local wisdom. Mastery of the diction aspect is the lowest among other aspects that need to be improved. Recommendations of this research to educators and future research as a review for developing effective Indonesian language learning in the elementary school teacher education program, especially in productive language skills, namely creative writing with character education and local wisdom.

Abstract

Benny Arnas' short stories need to be studied to reveal knowledge about the representation of humanism and the value of environmental love. Currently, the symptoms of dhumanization and environmental damage are increasing, so it is necessary to strengthen humanism and the character of loving the environment. This strengthening can be done with the media of literary works, one of which is short stories. The research was conducted on the short stories by Benny Arnas which were published in the Sunday newspaper and documented on the live play page. Through the ecological sasatra approach in Benny Arnas' short stories, it can be seen that certain short stories present a form of the value of love for the environment which is shown through the act of preserving nature, beauty and cleanliness. The characters shown in the short stories have human values that are shown through their wisdom towards fellow humans and the natural environment.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve creative writing skills with character education for elementary school teachers through face-to-face and virtual training. The participatory method was used in this training to stimulate teachers to be active in practicing poetry writing both in theory and practice. Face-to-face meetings were held twice for theoretical training, while virtual meetings were held for practical training in writing poetry and presenting it. Based on the results of scoring the ability to write poetry in the posttest session, the classical ability in writing poetry was 84.90%, where at the pretest stage it was 70.79%. The results show that poetry writing training containing character education through a mixed face-to-face and virtual method (Hybrid Learning) is able to improve the ability of elementary school teachers in writing creative poetry types. The improvement in the poetry writing skills of the participants was seen in all aspects of writing poetry, including themes and meanings, the power of imagination, accuracy of diction, and the message.

Abstract

Success in the learning process in elementary schools can be seen from the active participation of students in conveying their ideas and feelings through good speaking skills. The low speaking ability of students in elementary schools hurts the quality of learning. Therefore, learning media is needed to improve students' speaking skills, using interactive picture and picture learning media based on storyline articulation. This study aims to create learning media that can improve the speaking skills of elementary school students. This research is a research and development (RnD) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of grade 3 elementary school. Data collection techniques were carried out using documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis technique and quantitative analysis. The results of the study obtained valid, practical. Effective learning media with an excellent validity level, namely 92% and 90.90% for materials and media, the practicality level of students and teachers was 82.5%; 85% and 82.5%; 90% with a convenient category and has an effect that can be seen from the Z count of -3.411 with Asymp. Sig 0.001 of 12 and 15 students from the limited group and the broad group who took the test and had a pretest average of 68.4 and got a post-test average of 83.4. Thus, this media can improve the speaking skills of elementary school children.

Abstract

Kurikulum menjadikan pembelajaran menjadi terarah karena berfungsi sebagai pedoman untuk proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan perencanaan kurikulum mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP Kota Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu metode kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus (case studies). Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah analisis dokumen, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah perencanaan pembelajaran di Kota Surakarta sudah baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dokumen Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) dan modul ajar SMP Negeri A memiliki kelengkapan perencanaan kurikulum sangat baik dan SMP Negeri B memiliki kelengkapan perencanaan kurikulum kriteria baik. Akan tetapi, masih ada beberapa kekurangan yang harus dilengkapi. Guru masih mengalami kendala dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran. Pertama, guru masih kesulitan memahami capaian pembelajaran dan merumuskannya menjadi tujuan pembelajaran. Kedua, guru kesulitan mencari referensi perencanaan pembelajaran yang sesuai. Ketiga, guru sulit untuk fokus menyusun perencanaan karena banyak kegiatan yang harus dilakukan guru.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring di sekolah dasar selama masa pandemi dan pasca pandemi Covid-19 belum memenuhi hasil yang baik. Meskipun pembelajaran tatap muka sudah dilaksanakan tetapi durasinya masih dibatasi. Waktu belajar siswa lebih banyak dilakukan di rumah. Berdasarkan studi pustaka, survei, dan wawancara terhadap guru SD, diketahui bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring belum efektif. Pembelajaran daring menuai beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru. Permasalahan utama adalah media pembelajaran yang belum inovatif dan belum menarik minat siswa untuk aktif belajar. Sebagian besar guru SD masih memerlukan keterampilan dalam menyusun media pembelajaran yang inovatif dengan memanfaatkan ICT sehingga dapat menarik minat siswa. Selama ini, media pembelajaran masih terbatas dalam bentuk media presentasi konvensional dan buku teks. Untuk memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra, pengabdian masyarakat ini menyelenggarakan pelatihan meningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi mobile. Selain itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran inovatif berdaya saing next-generation learning yang sesuai untuk siswa SD. Media pembelajaran dikembangan dalam bentuk aplikasi andoid, agar menarik, cocok untuk pembelajaran daring, dan mampu bersaing dengan media pembelajaran terkini. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam menyusun media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi mobile.

Abstract

Education for blind children begins at the age of childhood and elementary school. At that age, blind children will begin to be introduced to fruits. However, in general, teachers in special schools will introduce fruits to blind children using only real fruit. This is considered ineffective, because the fruit recognition learning process only relied on the ability of the teacher that causes blind students to get bored quickly and the material presented by the teachers is not well received. Therefore we need a 3D fruit learning media designed according to the characteristics of blind children. The purpose of making Fruit Audio Aroma media is as a solution to overcome problems in the learning process of the blind children with disabilities related to fruit material. The method used is the observation method. The result of this study indicated that the Fruit Audio Aroma media provides maximum usability with easy and practical use, according to the needs of the blind through aroma, braille, texture, QR code and audio features that can be operated smoothly. Thus, this media is effective for increasing the sensitivity of the sense of touch, hearing and smell in blind children.

Abstract

Basic science process skills are important for elementary school students. Basic science process skills can optimize students' critical thinking skills and scientific thinking skills. In addition, they can also train students to solve the problems they experience in everyday life. However, many students have not mastered these skills. Therefore, learning media is needed to optimize these basic science process skills. Therefore, it is necessary to create learning media to optimize these basic science process skills. One of the learning media that can be used to optimize the basic science process skills in elementary school students is Fruit Audio Aroma learning media. This study aimed to analyze whether there was an effect of the use of Fruit Audio Aroma learning media on the basic science process skills in elementary school students. This research was a quantitative experimental one-shot case study conducted by providing treatment to students. Data were collected through performance tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the non-parametric test through the Wilcoxon test. The results of the Wilcoxon test show that the use of Fruit Audio Aroma learning media affected elementary school students' basic science process skills. The results of this study are expected to contribute to educators' optimization of students’ basic science process skills.
