Abstract

One challenge in developing SMEs is still weak access to financial institutions and markets, making it difficult for SMEs to develop. The difficulty of access to financial resources will have an impact on limited business expansion which will result in a weak capacity to expand business volume. On the other hand, weak market access also has an impact on the small market controlled by SMEs which has an impact on small product demand growth. The weakness factor that sticks to SMEs is mainly access to business development. This service program aims to strengthen understanding of the importance of relationship capital for the development of agro-businesses in Tamarenja Village, Donggala Regency. In this community service activity, lecture, question and answer, and discussion methods are used. This training activity is focused on Agro business management training through strengthening business networks. There are three stages in the implementation method, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The result of this activity is that agro-business actors in Tamarenja Village can be developed on a wider scale considering the current large market such as opening access for IKN (National Capital City), the growth of the Morowali industrial area, strengthening the Togean tourism industry and growing demand in the local market.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the disclosure of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in the mining sector of Indonesia to analyze its impact on financial performance. The ESG index disclosed on Indonesia Stock Exchange is used to proxy ESG measurement, and three measures, namely Return on Assets, Tobin's Q, and Sales Growth based on the Global Reporting Initiative, are used to evaluate financial performance. The study includes 19 companies in the mining industry that are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the years 2020-2021. Multiple Regression Analysis is applied as the analytical method with SPSS software. The findings suggest that ESG disclosure has a concurrent effect on financial performance, as proxied by Tobin's Q and Sales Growth in the Indonesian mining industry. However, in the short run, ESG disclosure has not shown an impact on Return on Asset. Additionally, the partial testing has revealed that environmental and governance results have a positive influence on Tobin's Q, while environmental, social, and governance has been found to enhance sales growth. These results suggest that the mining industry in Indonesia can improve its financial performance by incorporating ESG factors into its operations, which can positively impact the company's stock value and sales growth. It is recommended that mining companies should consider adopting ESG practices and disclosing their ESG scores to demonstrate their commitment to environmental and social responsibility, and governance. Abstract

The goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between corporate governance practices, as indicated by the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) scores, and key performance indicators (ROA, ROE, EPS) of publicly-listed Indonesian firms. Utilizing a panel data set comprising 112 Indonesian firms across various sectors, both fixed and random effects models were employed to discern the effects of corporate governance on firm performance. The dataset spanned five years, resulting in a total of 560 observations. The findings revealed a positive and statistically significant correlation between superior governance practices and enhanced firm performance. Specifically, a one-unit increase in the CGPI Score corresponded with increases in ROA, ROE, and EPS, even after controlling for variables such as firm size and industry type. Corporate governance plays a pivotal role in influencing the financial performance of Indonesian firms. Firms adhering to higher governance standards showcased better performance metrics, underscoring the strategic importance of robust governance mechanisms in the Indonesian business landscape. The results hold significant implications for Indonesian businesses, investors, and policymakers. Effective governance practices not only serve as a beacon for potential investors but also position firms for sustained growth and stakeholder trust in an increasingly competitive and interconnected global economy.

Abstract

Banks in carrying out the intermediation function require additional capital. Therefore, part of the bank's ownership is sold to the public in the form of shares and debt securities. Firm value is one of the indicators for investors in assessing the performance of a company. The aims of this study are: 1) To determine the factors that influence the value of Indonesian banking companies. These factors are capital structure, efficiency and size of the bank. 2) To find out that profitability moderates the value of Indonesian banking companies. This research uses quantitative verification research. The research analysis technique with moderate variables uses the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) model. Using secondary data from the financial statements of each bank. The financial reports are downloaded through the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website. Processing data using the e-Views 11 application. The results of this study show that the capital structure and the size of the bank have a significant positive impact on corporate value. If a bank is inefficient, it will not have a significant impact on corporate value. Profitability as a mitigation variable cannot amplify the impact of capital structure, efficiency, or bank size on corporate value.
