Growing civic awareness is important because it incorporates the practice of Pancasila values, which are the foundation of life, nation and state. It needs to be done from an early age, starting from basic education to become the next generation and future leadership relay holders. The main aim of this research is to increase children's citizenship awareness at the elementary school level through teaching activities designed through the Edukids Program with a civic perspective, such as unity, diversity and participation in social life. This research method is descriptive qualitative, which is used to describe and analyze with an argumentative-contextualistic approach regarding the implementation of the "EduKids" program involving fifth-grade students at Pulias Abaling State Elementary School and PGSD students at Madako University Tolitoli third semester class of 2022 as research subjects. The stages of research implementation were observed using direct observation techniques and interviews. Data were analyzed using the interactive approach of the Miles and Huberman model including selecting informative data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions from research results. This program is designed with an interactive, results-oriented approach, including the use of stories, practices and games during the learning process. As a result of this research, information was obtained that the implementation of the "EduKids" program in class V of Pulias Abaling State Elementary School succeeded in increasing elementary school children's understanding of their rights and obligations as citizens, and they began to actively participate in social activities at school and in the community where they live.

Bahasa merupakan sistem lambang bunyi yang ditentukan secara sewenang-wenang, yang digunakan oleh anggota suatu masyarakat untuk berkolaborasi, berinteraksi, dan mengidentifikasi diri. pengertian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Bahasa Merupakan salah satu sarana untuk berinteraksi dengan Individu lainnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini difokuskan pada peran penting Bahasa Indonesia sebagai alat komunikasi dalam kehidupan sosial di desa Lakatan. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan penelitian kualitatif untuk mengambarkan situasi Bahasa Indonesia yang di desa lakatan. Data yang dikumpulkan berasal dari sumber primer (wawancara dan dokumentasi), serta sumber sekunder berupa literatur jurnal terkait kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat desa Lakatan Mengenai pentingnya penggunaan bahasa Indonesia. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat di desa Lakatan masih lebih banyak menggunakan bahasa daerah mereka. Meskipun, orang tua di desa tersebut tetap memberikan pendidikan kepada anak – anak mereka tentang penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia. saat berada dilingkungan sekolah,anak-anak di motivasi menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia tanpa mengabaikan Bahasa Daerah mereka masing-masing. Melalui kegiatan penyuluhan ini, masyarakat desa Lakatan dapat menyadari pentingnya Bahasa Indonesia sebagai alat komunikasi dalam kehidupan sosial bermasyarakat.

Semakin meluasnya penggunaan media sosial, siswa di SD mudah mendapat informasi yang dapat memengaruhi pandangan siswa tentang karir dimasa depan. Oleh karena itu, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti konsekuensi dari interaksi dengan media sosial terhadap pemahaman karir yang dimiliki oleh siswa tingkat dasar, khususnya di SD Negeri 17 Tolitoli. Penelitian ini meneliti bagaimana media sosial memengaruhi pandangan siswa terhadap berbagai pilihan karir di masa depan. Dalam penelitian ini, metode deskriptif kualitatif diterapkan melalui pendekatan fenomenologi-kontekstualistik. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 puluh siswa yang tergabung dalam kelas V dan VI. Metode pengumpulan data yang diterapkan adalah trianggulasi sumber melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data mencakup reduksi data, penyajian informasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara deduktif. Dampak penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial sangat memengaruhi persepsi dan berkonstribusi pada pilihan karir siswa SD, serta menyediakan panduan bagi pendidik dan orang tua untuk memberikan bimbingan karir yang lebih baik. This qualitative phenomenological research examined the role of parents and teachers in supporting the development of public speaking soft skills of fourth grade students of SDN Malulu, Tolitoli Regency.The study found two problems: students' lack of confidence in expressing their opinions and the lack of family support in communication.The study involved five participants: one homeroom teacher, two students (male and female), and two parents. The data were collected through various means, including observation, interviews, and documentation. These data were then analyzed using a variety of methods, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results of the study indicated that parents and teachers have important and complementary roles in supporting the development of public speaking soft skills in fourth grade students. Specifically, the findings showed that parents play a crucial role in fostering students' confidence and communication skills within the home environment. In contrast, teachers have a pivotal role in developing these skills through structured learning activities in the classroom.The collaboration between parents and teachers is found to be highly effective in nurturing students who possess both confidence and proficiency in public speaking. The comprehensive analysis of interviews and observations yielded a nuanced understanding of the contributions of parental and teacher support to students' development of social and public speaking skills.The findings of this study demonstrate the efficacy of parental and teacher support in fostering students' public speaking abilities, underscoring the significance of collaborative efforts in educational settings Keywords: Public Speaking, Teacher, The Role of Parents

Strengthening local cultural identity is important in the current era of modernization and globalization. There are various foreign cultures and trends that can erode local culture in society so that the field of education is required to actively contribute. This article aims to examine the role of social studies education in strengthening the cultural identity of the Toli-Toli community by reviewing it from the perspective of teachers and students. This research method adopts a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews with teachers and students at SDN 26 Toli-Toli. The findings show that social studies learning carried out in schools plays a major role in introducing students to local culture, namely that which develops in Toli-Toli. Students are known to be able to learn and get to know many cultures such as regional languages, traditional houses, music, dances, traditional ceremonies, and various other cultures that are the identity of Toli-Toli Culture. Teachers carry out learning through images, videos, and culture-based projects so that students are interested and active in activities. This is able to build awareness for students in preserving local culture so that it makes a major contribution to strengthening the cultural identity of the Toli-Toli community. Thus, schools through the development of synchronization in continuing to integrate the content of the local cultural context into social studies learning in schools.

This research examines the implementation of the group discussion method in Social Studies learning to enhance the understanding of social values among 4th-grade elementary school students. The research employed a qualitative approach, collecting data through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the group discussion method positively impacts students' social values when implemented with proper preparation, balanced group formation, and effective teacher facilitation. The method promotes active participation, collaborative learning, and social skill development. However, challenges were identified, including participation inequality, time management issues, and the need for teachers' guidance throughout the process. This research contributes to understanding effective teaching strategies for social values education in elementary settings and offers practical recommendations for educators implementing discussion-based learning approaches.

Low reading interest among fourth grade students in Indonesian language lessons at SDN Malangga Selatan is a common problem. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Animaker multimedia to increase reading interest. The study used a quantitative pre-experiment method with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 20 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation and testing and analyzed using a paired-sample t-test. The analysis revealed a statistically significant increase in reading interest (p < 0.05), evident in the increase of the students' average score from 66 to 80. This study concludes that Animaker multimedia is an effective learning tool for fostering students' interest in reading and is therefore recommended as a more engaging and motivational learning solution.

Pancasila Education learning in class IV of SD Negeri 2 Bokat tended to be passive and less engaging due to the dominance of the lecture method , resulting in low student participation and understanding of the material. This study aims to describe the use of crossword puzzle learning media as an alternative to improve learning effectiveness. The method used is descriptive qualitative with research subjects consisting of one teacher and three fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of crossword puzzle media significantly improved student understanding and learning outcomes. This medium successfully created a more interactive, collaborative, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Students became more motivated, active, and able to enhance their critical thinking skills and memory of Pancasila values. Effective implementation was supported by five indicators: material explanation, IT-assisted puzzle creation, clue formulation, individual and group task distribution, and the provision of rewards

This study aims to analyze the implementation and influence of the Discovery Learning model on the development of leadership character among fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Bajugan. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects consisted of class IV A students as the experimental group, who were taught using the Discovery Learning model, and class IV B students as the control group, who received conventional learning. Data were collected through observation, field notes, and pre-test and post-test assessments to measure leadership character. The findings indicated that the application of Discovery Learning in the experimental class did not produce statistically significant effects on students’ leadership character. However, the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test results showed p-values of 0.006 in the control group and 0.005 in the experimental group, both lower than 0.05, indicating significant differences between pre-test and post-test scores in both groups. The improvement in leadership character was greater in the experimental group than in the control group. In the experimental class, 15 out of 18 students showed progress, with a higher mean rank (10.03) compared to the control group (9.57). The absolute Z value in the experimental group (-2.834) was also higher than in the control group (-2.727), suggesting a stronger effect. In conclusion, the Discovery Learning model can effectively foster leadership character when designed with activities that encourage students’ active participation. This discovery-based learning process provides opportunities for students to take initiative, develop responsibility, and practice decision-making.
