Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of independence, environment, creativity and education on students' motivation to become sharia entrepreneurs. Study students at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Sultan Thaha Saifuddin State Islamic University, Jambi, the subjects of this research are students at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Sultan Thaha State Islamic University. Saifudin Jambi. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation where the research method used is a quantitative research method that uses primary data and secondary data with a multiple linear regression model. The results of partial testing (t test) of the independence variable and environmental variables do not have a significant effect on students' motivation to become sharia entrepreneurs. while the creativity variable and the education variable have a significant effect on students' motivation to become sharia entrepreneurs. Based on the results of the F test (simultaneous test) it can be concluded that independence, environment, creativity and education simultaneously have a significant effect on students' motivation to become sharia entrepreneurs.

Abstract

MSMEs have a large contribution to regional income and state income, play a role in reducing the unemployment rate because of their labor-intensive nature, this business can absorb a lot of workers. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can improve the standard of living of many people. The research aims to determine and analyze the influence of financial literacy and risk mitigation on the sustainability of MSMEs. Using quantitative methods of data analysis, Determinant Coefficient Test. The sample taken was 96 respondents who were MSMEs in Jambi City. Financial Literacy and Risk Mitigation together have a significant effect on sustainability. It is proven that the adjusted R square value (coefficient of determination) is 0.443 or 44%. Shows that the influence of Financial Literacy and Risk Mitigation on the Sustainability of MSMEs has an influence of 44% and the remaining 56% is influenced by other variables outside this research.

Abstract

Strategy is an effort to develop a company's competitive position amidst business competition. A business development strategy is an effort to conduct an analysis of regional market conditions, both internal which includes strengths and weaknesses, external conditions which include opportunities and threats that will be faced, then alternatives are taken to determine the strategy that must be implemented. The aim of this research is to determine the strategy for developing the Idol Batik House business in Pemusiran Village, East Tanjung Jabung Regency. In this research, the method used is qualitative, the data analysis method used is SWOT analysis and the data collection method uses observation and interviews. Based on research results, Batik Idola utilizes its strengths to gain opportunities by using strategies including maintaining the quality of its batik, maximizing communication technology for marketing and technology in the production sector such as electric canting to maximize production and carry out business development. And the strategy used by Batik Idola to minimize existing weaknesses and to avoid threats that come, namely by increasing promotions by utilizing promotional media according to existing funds, and also adding distribution channels such as agents, resellers or sales.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Islamic financial inclusion implemented by BMT Al-Ishlah Jambi in improving the empowerment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The approach of this research is qualitative, with a phenomenological method that relies on primary data from the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. This research was conducted at BMT Al-Ishlah Jambi, with the object of the research including BMT staff and MSME members who received funding. The results of the study show that the inclusion of Islamic finance implemented by BMT Al-Ishlah is effective in increasing the empowerment of MSMEs. This can be seen from the increase in income and service quality for MSME members who have received funding. This finding is expected to contribute to the development of sharia financial inclusion theory and become a practical reference for financial institutions in community economic empowerment

Abstract

Marketing mix (marketing mix) is used to achieve marketing objectives. Using a qualitative research method, a descriptive approach. The findings show that the implementation of the marketing mix increases the sales volume at the Kita Family Building Store, namely in terms of products it still focuses on building equipment such as cement, sand, bricks, etc. Marketing it using media is very simple and according to the Islamic Economics Perspective, the implementation of the marketing mix for Our Family Building Store is in accordance with Islamic marketing. To a large extent, the concept of Islamic marketing is in accordance, namely in terms of products, always being honest and prioritizing product quality. In terms of price, set the price according to the quality of the product. then in terms of promotion, always emphasize ethics in business, don't cheat, don't sell products that are forbidden by religion, never force consumers to buy their products, don't badmouth other people's businesses in marketing their products and from distribution places/channels, namely providing a sense of comfort and easy access for consumers.

Abstract

This article discusses GIS strategic management to increase students' interest in investing in the Islamic capital market. Based on the data, it can be seen that the number of investors in the GIS of UIN STS Jambi since the establishment of GIS 2016-2022, the number of investors each year is unstable and is still relatively low. However, as time goes by, some investors are no longer active in stock trading. This is due to investors' ignorance of the Islamic capital market. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are that the management strategy used is KSPM discussion, socialization, group formation, implementing the Sharia Capital Market School (SPMS) after that Sharia Capital Market Activation (APMS). The problems faced by GIS include administrators who are less active in carrying out GIS programs and activities, lack of awareness of FEBI students to see investment opportunities, difficulty in inviting FEBI students to take part in activities at GIS. Abstract

This research aims to determine a good strategy to determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. SWOT analysis is used to obtain information from analysis of the company's internal and external environment. This analysis is very important for the development of UMKM for sweet potato chips. And to find out the implementation of the strategy for developing UMKM for sweet potato chips in Jambi City. The method used is qualitative, where the research analyzes and describes the findings through observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources used are primary and secondary data, as well as data validity techniques using Tringulation. The results of this research are: expanding distribution locations, implementing prices according to quality, additional product variants, and carrying out promotions. And it is important for UMKM for sweet potato chips to prepare themselves to be able to compete with large businesses, as well as formulating marketing strategies regularly to remain competitive in a changing market. for a SWOT analysis of (UMKM) Jambi City's Olis Sweet Potato Chips Production House which is still below its competitors like in other places, this can be seen from the strategies used by Olis Sweet Potato Chips UMKM entrepreneurs regarding the situation or external and internal factors of UMKM entrepreneurs Olis Sweet Potato Chips are taken from the results of weighting the total existing values.

Abstract

Performance measurement is very important to assess how well organizations and managers are in providing more public services, and not just the ability to show that public money has been spent but includes the ability to show that the money has been used fairly, for the welfare of society. Then, from the background above, this study aims to analyze how the Bakeuda Financial Performance of the Tebo Regency Government in 2017-2021 is seen from: (1) Independence Ratio, (2) Efficiency Ratio (3) Harmony Ratio (operational expenditure and capital expenditure). This study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method, which is a scientific and systematic study of the parts and phenomena and their relationships. Quantitative analysis is used to solve problems that are measuring quality in the form of (amount and number). The results of the performance analysis show that the Tebo Regency Government's Bakeuda finances are seen from (1) the Regional Financial Independence Ratio, the relationship pattern is still classified as an instructive relationship pattern because the average size of this ratio is 9.78% (2) The Regional Financial Efficiency Ratio can be said to be quite efficient because the average regional financial efficiency of Blora Regency is 88.26% (3) The compatibility ratio is known that the average regional operational expenditure is still very high, namely 56.35% compared to the average capital expenditure of 39.92%, so it can be said Regional Government still pays little attention to regional development.

Abstract

Study aims to analyze the transformation of halal product assurance knowledge from training and implementation of halal assurance systems in the coastal areas of Sumatra. Processed seafood products in Tungkal Ilir Subdistrict, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency have not been able to access a wide market share due to the lack of halal assurance knowledge which has an impact on the absence of Halal Certificates. By applying qualitative methods, researchers conducted participatory observations and focused discussions with female entrepreneurs. The results of this study indicate that the transformation of knowledge about halal product assurance changes at least five aspects in the production of processed seafood in this area. There is an increase in knowledge about the urgency of halal certification, halal sharia provisions and knowledge about the halal certification process. Halal knowledge which was originally limited to raw materials has increased to an understanding of the criteria for auxiliary materials, production processes, product naming to the monitoring and evaluation process of halal assurance implementation. In addition, there is also a change in behavior that was originally unable to process halal certification, to being able to access the halal page and fill in SJPH files online.

Abstract

Natural resources are a major contributor to the formation of the national and domestic gross product, serving as a primary source of employment and being one of the dominant sectors in generating community income. Natural resources play a crucial role as supporting factors for economic growth in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Despite consistently making significant contributions to the Regional Gross Domestic Product (PDRB) from 2013 to 2022, the economic growth rate of the Natural Resources Sector in Tanjung Jabung Timur tends to be slow. This research aims to investigate the influence of natural resources on economic growth in Tanjung Jabung Timur during the period 2013-2022. The study uses purposive sampling for its sample selection. The data utilized comprises time series data from 2013 to 2022. The results of this research indicate that variable X does not have a significant impact on variable Y at the 0.05 significance level. Therefore, the null hypothesis stating that there is no significant influence from variable X1 (Sector A) and X2 (Sector B) on variable Y (Growth Rate) is accepted. The statistical test results show that the p-value for variable X is greater than the predetermined significance level (p > 0.05). This indicates the insignificance of the relationship between variable X and variable Y. In other words, the variation in variable X cannot significantly explain the variation in variable Y in the context of this study.
