Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0, literacy is considered an essential need for every human being to meet the needs of daily life. Education plays the first and main role in the progress of the nation and the State of Indonesia, Indonesia is known as an archipelagic country, this makes Indonesia has a diversity of tribes, races and groups that have many cultures. With the current of globalization that continues to grow, the younger generation is less interested in traditions and culture The process of implementing cultural and civic literacy is among them through the process of traditional game activities carried out by students as a form of cultural literacy activities. In order for the implementation of cultural and civic learning to take place effectively and efficiently, teachers and students in schools must take various steps, such as having school policies that affirm the importance of cultural and civic knowledge, which will affect cultural and civic learning.

Abstract

With globalization, modernization and digitalization, of course this has a big influence on everything. Apart from the many good influences, there are also quite a few bad influences that are very clear, such as rampant corruption, murders occurring everywhere, brawls between regions, burning of places of worship, weak laws, sexual harassment, robbery, and others. In this research, the author used a research method using the literature study method. The data taken comes from literature sourced from scientific journals in the form of articles, theses, theses, books and from other sources. There are several original characters of the Indonesian nation, including religious, love of the country, mutual cooperation, tolerance, friendliness and creativity. However, with globalization and modernization, this character is slowly fading until efforts are needed to reshape the character of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

As one of the regions with extraordinary cultural wealth, West Java has a variety of arts and cultures that have been passed down from generation to generation. Saung Angklung Udjo is present as one of the realizations of the commitment to preserve and develop traditional arts. In its role, Saung Angklung Udjo not only functions as an art performance venue but also as a cultural literacy tool that plays an important role in maintaining and developing cultural wealth in West Java. Through the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods (mixed methods), this research will try to explain that Saung Angklung Udjo is a cultural literacy tool that plays an important role in West Java. The results showed that based on the questionnaire results, 95.8% of Indonesians agreed with the statements contained in the questionnaire, which means that Saung Angklung Udjo has a very crucial role as a means of cultural literacy in West Java.

Abstract

Modernisasi berdampak pada identitas dan akar budaya generasi muda, diantaranya adalah Krisis Identitas yang ditandai dengan beberapa generasi muda mengalami krisis identitas, mencari jati diri di luar budayanya sendiri. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan memperkenalkan diri pada budaya asing atau populer. Selain itu adanya urbanisasi, migrasi dari desa ke kota seringkali membuat generasi muda terputus dari akar budayanya, akibat perubahan lingkungan dan gaya hidup. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka atau tinjauan pustaka. Salah satu dampak modernisasi adalah menurunnya kesadaran akan budaya dan kewarganegaraan. Generasi muda seringkali terpapar dengan budaya populer global yang didominasi oleh media massa dan teknologi modern. Mereka lebih sering dikaitkan dengan tren global dibandingkan dengan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan hilangnya pemahaman terhadap tradisi, bahasa, dan warisan budaya yang dimiliki suatu negara atau komunitas. Generasi muda mempunyai peran penting dalam membentuk masa depan masyarakat dan negara. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya bersama dari pemerintah, pendidik, dan masyarakat untuk memastikan bahwa modernisasi tidak menghancurkan kesadaran budaya dan bernegara, namun justru memperkuatnya untuk membangun masyarakat yang lebih harmonis dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Globalisasi menyebabkan tidak adanya batasan ruang dan waktu dalam mengakses informasi secara global. Hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi kehidupan dan perubahan pada suatu negara. Pengaruh tersebut dapat memberikan dampak positif dan juga dapat memberikan dampak negatif. Pengaruh yang dapat memberikan dampak negatif menjadi sorotan karena dapat mengancam indentitas nasional dan budaya lokal. Oleh karena itu, peneliti bermaksud untuk menganalisis hal-hal apa saja yang dapat mengancam penguatan identitas nasional dan kebudayaan lokal sebagai tantangan globalisasi dengan tujuan agar masyarakat Indonesia menyadari bahwa literasi budaya dapat mencegah terjadinya infiltrasi budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode study literatur dengan mengkaji secara teoritis dan juga dari referensi lain yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang akan diteliti. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan yaitu timbulnya kesempatan negara asing untuk mengambil alih hak kepemilikan budaya Indonesia, warga Indonesia yang lebih memilih menerapkan budaya asing daripada budaya sendiri, dan terjadinya penyerapan budaya asing yang tidak sesuai dengan norma masyarakat Indonesia sehingga mengancam ideologi Pancasila. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya kesadaran dari masyarakat untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya sebagai upaya melestarikan dan menguatkan identitas nasional, serta keterlibatan dari pemerintah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya kekurangan literasi budaya pada peserta didik. Tujuannya adalah untuk menggambarkan strategi penanaman literasi budaya dan kreativitas melalui pembelajaran tari tradisional pada siswa di era digital, sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai berbagai gerak dan lagu daerah melalui pembelajaran tari. Selain itu, mereka juga belajar melakukan analisis, terutama terkait dengan teknik dalam konteks kreativitas. Peserta didik menjadi terampil dalam menari, fleksibel, dan mampu mengekspresikan diri. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi ini dapat membantu anak-anak sekolah dasar memperoleh pemahaman budaya yang lebih baik, meningkatkan kreativitas mereka, dan menghadapi era digital dengan lebih baik, sambil tetap menjaga keberlanjutan warisan seni dan budaya tradisional yang memiliki nilai tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential for strengthening literacy culture in elementary schools by focusing on the role of teachers as role models, facilitators and resource providers. The research method uses a qualitative approach with Systematic Literature Review (SLR) as an information gathering tool. The aim is to strengthen the implementation of literacy culture in schools through integration in the curriculum, increasing the role of parents, and a variety of books in the library. The benefits include increasing literacy understanding, student motivation to read, and the formation of a strong literacy culture in elementary schools. The results of this research note the positive impact of strengthening literacy culture, including increasing literacy understanding, student motivation to read, and the formation of a sustainable literacy culture in the elementary school environment. The teacher's role as a role model, facilitator and resource provider has a significant influence on the successful implementation of a literacy culture.

Abstract

Regional languages have a role more than just as a means of communication; it also functions as a symbol of pride, a marker of identity, and a means of communication within the family and local community. Nevertheless, regional languages face the challenge of extinction due to the influence of globalization, population migration, and lack of appreciation, especially among the younger generation. The method used is literature study. The focus of this article is on maintaining Sundanese in the context of elementary school education, highlighting the role of students as the main agents in maintaining regional languages. The discussion involves three key steps, namely learning, community activities, and the use of regional languages on special occasions. It is hoped that maintaining regional languages in education can create a generation that has strong character and is able to maintain cultural heritage, making the preservation of regional languages an important task to preserve cultural and linguistic diversity.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a solution to the importance of literacy in the digital era, to explain the importance of literacy in the digital era in dealing with hoaxes or false information on social media as well as strategies for increasing literacy in the digital era. Hoaxes can have a very detrimental impact, both on individuals and society as a whole. Therefore, it is important for people to always check the veracity of information before sharing it or taking action based on that information. With digital literacy, people can understand and manage information spread on social media. The research method used is a qualitative method with a library research approach. The literature study method involves collecting data by understanding and studying theories from various literature that are relevant to the research subject. Literacy in this digital era is the key to overcoming various challenges. Digital literacy is important in dealing with hoaxes, including the ability to identify hoaxes, evaluate the authenticity of information sources, understand the context of information, use tools, question information, and maintain online privacy and security. Digital literacy helps individuals become more intelligent, critical and responsible in consuming and disseminating information in the digital world.

Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology has both positive and negative impacts. As the next generation of the nation, awareness is needed in increasing civic literacy in the digital era. This is in line with the purpose of this study, which is to foster the character of elementary school children through civic literacy learning with its approaches to learning. By strengthening the spirit of citizenship, we want to produce a generation of qualified and qualified young people and able to actively contribute to the development of the nation and state in this digital era. Therefore, in civic literacy, it is very important to comprehensively prepare citizens to face these challenges with a firm and deep understanding. Through comprehensive civic literacy learning helps improve citizenship in society. This is an important key in building a harmonious and good society.
