Abstract

This service was carried out in Harjosari 1 Village, Medan Amplas District. The aim of this community service is to increase public awareness to avoid business transactions that contain elements of usury and to find out the level of success of the community service program for business transactions that contain elements of usury. The methods used in this community service activity are counseling, presentations and discussions. The results of the service show that firstly, the people of Harjosari 1 Subdistrict, Medan Amplas District, have an understanding of various business transactions, some already understand, some are still unsure, and some even don't understand. Second, to achieve the objectives of the community service activity program for the people of Harjosari 1 Subdistrict, Medan Amplas District, collaboration has been carried out between the community and service providers which is in accordance with the event rundown and predetermined time.

Abstract

Strategi guru BK agar mendukung pemberdayaan kliennya adalah melalui konseling multikultural. Sehingga untuk mekanismenya guru BK seringkali menemukan sejumlah hambatan yang menyulitkan mereka untuk menerapkan konseling multikultural, seperti mencocokkan klien dengan latar belakang budaya yang berbeda dengan mereka. Hal ini memerlukan kreativitas multikultural pada guru BK supaya memberikan layanan konseling sesuai dengan yang telah ditentukan. Tujuan dari penelitian agar menjelaskan usaha-usaha ataupun kreativitas yang dapat dilakukan guru BK dalam proses konseling multikultural. Penelitian ini memakai metode kualitatif deskriptif. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni wawancara dan observasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini guru BK dan peserta diidk kelas VII berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian yakni guru BK dalam mengimplementasikan konseling multikultural menggunakan kreativitas seperti PPT, Kertas Origami, Video animasi yang membuat Siswa kelas VII tidak jenuh dalam mengikuti proses konseling multikultural ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola dan sistem pembelajaran sesuai kurikulum 2013 di SMPN 2 Linggabayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di SMPN 2 Linggabayu mengunakan dua pola pembelajaran. Pertama, pola tradisional yang terdiri dari ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Kedua, pola pembelajaran bermedia dengan e-learning, siswa dituntut secara aktif untuk mampu mengakses pelajaran kapanpun dan dimanapun melalui aplikasi ini. Sedangkan sistem pembelajaran di SMPN 2 Linggabayu belum sepenuhnya terlaksana karena masih ada unsur pembelajaran yang belum terpenuhi yaitu ketersediaan buku paket siswa dan belum sepenuhnya guru mampu mengaplikasikan kurikulum yang baru. Untuk mengatasinya pihak sekolah secara berkelanjutan melaksanakan pelatihan- pelatihan kepada guru dan tenaga pendidik demi tercapainya pelaksanaan tujuan dari kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

This study explores the difficulties faced by second-semester Islamic Education (PAI) students at STAI Al-Hikmah Medan in practicing English speaking. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five students. The analysis revealed five major themes: (1) limited vocabulary and grammar mastery, (2) speaking anxiety and fear of making mistakes, (3) lack of speaking practice opportunities, (4) peer pressure and unsupportive classroom environments, and (5) absence of contextual and real-life speaking applications. Students expressed challenges not only in linguistic competence but also in psychological readiness and cultural relevance of the speaking materials. This research contributes a new perspective by focusing on students in a religious academic context, highlighting the importance of integrating culturally relevant content and fostering supportive learning environments. Recommendations include increasing the frequency of speaking practice, incorporating Islamic-themed speaking materials, and creating psychologically safe spaces for language learners.
