Abstract

After Covid-19 pandemic, online learning has become so important and urgent, while offline learning has become very much needed because of its role in shaping the character of students. This article aims to discuss opportunities and challenges in the implementation of online and offline learning in the Social Studies Teaching Material Development course. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques use data triangulation, namely data from interviews, observations and reflection sheets. The results show that online learning offers flexibility of time and place, accessibility to various digital learning resources, and the ability to document course materials more easily. However, the challenges faced include limited technology infrastructure, internet connectivity problems, and lack of face-to-face interaction that can reduce the quality of discussion and understanding of the material. On the other hand, offline learning provides more effective in-person interaction to build social and communication skills, as well as providing opportunities for hands-on practice. The main challenge in offline learning is the limited time and space, energy and costs incurred due to the distance between the learning space and the residence of students. The study concluded that a combination of these two methods, known as blended learning, can be an optimal solution to overcome the shortcomings of each method. The application of a blended learning model can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of learning in the Social Studies Teaching Material Development course by utilizing the advantages of both approaches. Therefore the result of this research are valuable insights for lecturers, students, and higher education managers in developing learning strategies that are adaptive and responsive to the challenges of the times.

Abstract

Abstrak This study aims to know about “kampus mengajar” program as manifestation of the “merdeka belajar” policy initiate by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republik Indonesia. This study is a qualitative research using the systematic literature review method through collection articles and journals as reference source. The result of this study showed that “kampus mengajar” program in terms of community services as manifestation of the “merdeka belajar” policy is taking place. This program provides students with the opportunity to contribute directly to Indonsesia’s education tangibly. The space is so open given by “kampung mengajar” program for the implementation of devotion to the public, that the cross-disciplined students can have the same opportunity to implement the program. So, the students were content with an intelectual activities can distribute their intelectual experiences to the Indonesia’s students schools.

Abstract

The utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in primary education presents a significant opportunity to improve the quality of learning assessment. However, in border regions such as SD Negeri 2 Merauke, the implementation of such technology faces considerable challenges. This study aims to explore educators' perceptions of using AI in the development of assessment instruments and to identify the obstacles and opportunities for its application. The research subjects included six classroom teachers, one principal, and two administrative staff members selected through purposive sampling based on their active roles in the assessment process. A qualitative approach was employed, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, and validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that most educators lack a clear understanding of AI concepts and practices but demonstrate a willingness to adopt innovations if supported by context-specific training. Key barriers include limited infrastructure, low digital literacy, and inadequate technical support. These findings highlight the urgency of building teacher capacity through localized training programs and formulating inclusive digital transformation policies for schools in border areas.

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum memberikan tantangan baru bagi guru, menuntut mereka untuk fokus pada pengembangan kompetensi siswa sekaligus menyelesaikan tugas administrasi secara efisien. Pendampingan Administrasi Tuntas dengan AI (ANASAI) dirancang untuk membantu guru memanfaatkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam menyederhanakan pekerjaan administratif, sehingga mereka dapat lebih fokus pada pembelajaran, PKM pendampingan anasai ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Kabupaten Merauke dengan 27 guru yang bersedia mengikuti kegiatan hingga selesai. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan program pendampingan Anasai, meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan guru, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi keberhasilan program. digunakan metode evaluasi pada perubahan persepsi dan kompetensi guru pasca kegiatan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa guru merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menggunakan Anasai, dan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi pembelajaran. Program ini juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap kesiapan guru dalam menghadapi tantangan perubahan kurikulum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digitalization of Musamus University's educational services marketing program. This study used an analysis model by Miles and Huberman consisting of data reduction, data presentation and taking conclusion. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The subject of the study is the primary school teacher education department of Musamus University. Data collection techniques use interview techniques, document studies and literature reviews. The results of this study show that by digitalization the marketing program of the Department of Primary Teacher and Education of Musamus University has shown that the Department innovates to advance the department. Therefore, the digitalization of Musamus University's educational services marketing program help the department to improve the quality and good reputation to the society because the department not only use the manual strategy but also use the innovative strategy by using the digitalization. Eventhough in this research did not measure the effectiveness of this digitalization.

Abstract

Program Pemerintah Merauke yakni kawasan konservasi cagar alam salah satunya berada pada Kampung Kweel. Dalam pelaksanaannya bahwa masih banyak kendala-kendala di masyarakat yang terjadi akibat kurang pahamnya masyarakat dan aparat kampung tersebut terkait dengan seberapa penting kawasan konservasi, hubungan masyarakat adat dan kawasan konservasi, serta kearifan lokal masyarakat adat di kampung kweel tersebut. Untuk itu tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu pemerintah desa dalam hal ini mengatasi persoalan kurang pahamnya masyarakat terkait peran vital mereka terhadap program konservasi cagar alam, serta pelatihan keterampilan sdm kepada masyarakat dan aparatur kampung dalam hal kemampuan mengelolah kawasan cagar alam agar dapat di ekspos lebih jauh ke seluruh wilayah di Papua khususnya dan Indonesia umumnya. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu menganalisa permasalahan yang terjadi di kampung Kweel terkait dengan program konservasi cagar alam dalam kaitannya dengan sumberdaya manusianya, kemudian tahap selanjutnya menjelaskan tentang penting kawasan konservasi, hubungan masyarakat adat dan kawasan konservasi, kearifan lokal masyarakat adat di kampung kweel. Tahap selanjutnya memberikan pelatihan tentang cara mengelola kawasan cagar alam sampai bagaimana cara melakukan promosi kawasan cagar alam untuk menarik simpati dari para pengunjung nasional maupun internasional sebagai kawasan pariwisata berbasis cagar alam dan kawasan adat.

Abstract

The Payum coastal area possesses abundant natural resources; however, challenges such as low basic literacy, limited economic skills, and minimal environmental awareness hinder the community's progress. The Empowerment of the Payum Coastal Area through Eco-Literacy program aims to enhance community capacity through three literacy approaches: basic literacy, economic literacy, and environmental conservation literacy. The methods applied include basic literacy teaching using a fun learning approach for children and teenagers, fishball-making training as a form of economic literacy for housewives and youths, and environmental conservation activities to improve ecological awareness and appreciation of local wisdom. The results of the program showed a significant improvement in basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills for 87.18% of the basic literacy participants. About 50% of the economic literacy participants successfully produced and marketed fishballs independently. Meanwhile, the environmental conservation activities resulted in the planting of 100 mangrove seedlings and improved understanding of coastal ecosystems among 92.50% of participants. In conclusion, this program effectively provided positive impacts on improving basic literacy, economic skills, and environmental awareness among the Payum coastal community. The program's sustainability requires ongoing support, regular mentoring, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enable the community to become economically self-sufficient, educationally empowered, and environmentally conscious.

Abstract

The unavailability of innovative teaching materials that contain a numeracy literacy component is the main obstacle for SD YPPK Hati Kudus teachers in the success of the GLS program. The teaching materials that have been used so far are teaching materials that already exist, are provided by the government and are left to be used, there has been no effort to prepare and compile them yourself, even though the teacher realizes that they are not in accordance with the characteristics, social and culture of students. YPPK Hati Kudus Elementary teachers also realize that innovative teaching materials are needed and require creativity in making them appropriate to Papuan social and culture so that students become interested, active and not bored in learning. The solution offered is assistance in making innovative teaching materials based on Papuan ethnomathematics as an effort to increase students' active learning and numeracy literacy competencies. PKM consists of preparation, introduction, technical assistance, implementation. The results of the dedication show an increase in teacher understanding and skills in making innovative teaching materials based on Papuan ethnomathematics

Abstract

This devotion program aims to increase students’ and teachers’ knowledge and understanding of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila policy program. Profil Pancasila Pancasila policy program is a concept that involves Pancasila as an ideology of the state for the students. This service aims to provide socialization to the teachers and the students about Profil Pelajar Pancasila and give them an understanding of the implementation of the program every day. The method used in this service is delivering Profil Pelajar Pancasila's material through lectures, forum group discussions and direct practical activities. Teachers and Students will be given an understanding of the importance of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila Policy Program and the positive impact they will get if they adopt this ideology. The expected results of this service are an increase in teachers’ and students' knowledge about Profil Pelajar Pancasila and a strengthening in ideology that leads to guiding the student's life as a citizen in Indonesia. With this socialisation, it is hoped that students and teachers will become agents of change who can influence their peers and the community to adopt Pancasila as their ideology. In addition, this dedication is also expected to increase the nationalism of educators, parents and students in building a Profil Pelajar Pancasila ideology in schools and the surrounding environment. In conclusion, after this service has been done, students of SD YPK Ermasu Merauke understand and implement the importance of Profil Pelajar Pancasila in daily life.
