Abstract

Motion graphic-based learning videos are a digital learning medium that clarifies material, increases student learning independence, can be accessed quickly, and is not limited in time. This study aimed to determine the implementation and feasibility of motion graphic-based learning videos on the material 'Communication Technology' for third-grade students of Luqmanul Hakim Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Bandung City. This research uses the Design and Development (DD) model. This research went through five stages, namely (1) problem identification, (2) Determining goals and solutions, (3) Product design and development, (4) Trials, and (5) Communication. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires. Two experts are involved in this study: material and media experts. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Namely, the total number of grade 3 students is 24 students. The validation results by the material experts showed a percentage of 100% with the qualification "Very Good." In comparison, the results of the confirmation by the media experts showed a rate of 98%, and the effects of student assessments showed that the percentage showed 92.4% with the qualification "Very Good." Based on the results of validation by experts and reviews by teachers and students, it can be concluded that motion graphic-based learning videos are appropriate for use as learning media.

Abstract

Background of Study: The advancement of immersive technology and artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities for creating more adaptive and interactive learning systems. However, higher education institutions still face challenges such as limited industry-standard facilities and the high cost of multimedia equipment.Aims and Scope of Paper: This study aims to develop a prototype of a WebXR-based Collaborative Learning Management System (LMS) equipped with 3D virtual features and AI integration to enhance student learning experiences. Methods: The research employed the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: conceptualization, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The study involved 30 Multimedia Education students from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia selected through purposive sampling.Result: Feasibility testing using a Likert-scale questionnaire revealed that the system achieved a highly feasible category with average scores of 81,7 % for Learnability 85,6 %, for system performance 76,93%, for Efficiency 79,9%, for memorability 74,2%, satisfaction 85,4 %. Resulting in an overall feasibility of 81.7%. Semi-structured interviews confirmed that AI integration significantly supported learning personalization and provided content recommendations, although the AI feature was limited to text-based responses. Conclusion: The results indicate that combining WebXR and AI in an LMS can address the challenges of industry-based learning by providing immersive, adaptive, and accessible learning experiences. This system demonstrates strong potential as a future-ready digital learning solution, with future research suggested to evaluate its impact on learning outcomes and improve AI capabilities for deeper contextual interaction.

Abstract

The Ciomas Golok is one of Banten’s intangible cultural heritage items, carrying profound historical, philosophical, and social meaning. More than a traditional weapon, it represents identity, honor, and the spirit of resistance against colonial rule. This study explores the origins and genealogy of the Ciomas Golok, analyzes the philosophy of “grip strength” encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions, and explains its role as a symbol of honor within Banten society. The research also examines its transformation in the modern era and compares it with other traditional weapons in the Nusantara and abroad. A qualitative method with a cultural ethnographic framework was applied. The research took place in Ciomas District, Serang Regency, as well as in museums, traditional markets, and cultural festivals. Data collection involved participant observation, in-depth interviews with blacksmith masters, community leaders, cultural figures, and youth, supported by literature documentation. Data analysis employed semiotics and symbolic anthropology, with validity maintained through triangulation of sources, methods, and theories. Findings show that the Ciomas Golok dates back to the Banten Sultanate era, evolving from an agricultural tool and weapon of resistance into a cultural artifact and creative economic commodity. The philosophy of “grip strength” highlights holistic values the golok as a symbol of honor, responsibility, and solidarity. Its continuing presence underscores the urgency of preservation. The study concludes that safeguarding the Ciomas Golok requires collaboration among blacksmiths, local communities, government, and academics to ensure its ongoing relevance as both a cultural emblem and an expression of Indonesian national identity.
