Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of Gamelan Eduweb, an interactive digital learning platform, in extracurricular gamelan activities for elementary school students. The research aims to assess the effectiveness of this medium in enhancing students’ gamelan-playing skills. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method, involving elementary school students participating in extracurricular gamelan activities. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that Gamelan Eduweb significantly improves students’ abilities to play gamelan instruments both individually and in groups. This platform allows students to learn flexibly through features such as video tutorials, music notations, and gamelan history, which can be accessed anytime. Students showed enhanced skills in reading notation, understanding rhythms, and maintaining tempo during performances. However, the study also identified several challenges, including technical issues such as unstable internet connections and the lack of tutorials demonstrating complete instrument collaboration. These challenges were largely resolved through technical adjustments and teacher guidance. Additionally, learning with Gamelan Eduweb strengthened students’ understanding of cultural values, improved teamwork, and motivated them to appreciate Indonesia's traditional art heritage. In conclusion, Gamelan Eduweb is effective in supporting gamelan learning for elementary school students, offering additional benefits of accessibility and interactivity. This platform serves as a modern solution for preserving traditional arts while enriching students’ learning experiences in the context of arts education.

Abstract

Creativity is one of the essential aspects in visual arts education, thus requiring innovative approaches to enhance it. This study aims to examine the effect of aluminum engraving techniques on elementary school students’ creativity in visual arts. The research used an experimental method with a population consisting of all sixth-grade students at SDN Selajambe 01 during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 33 students. Data were collected through tests using performance sheets, and data analysis involved descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores in both groups. The experimental group showed an increase in the average score from 53.65 to 79.00, with a percentage gain of 47%, while the control group improved from 49.00 to 62.71, with a gain of 28%. This was further supported by the hypothesis test results, where the post-test scores between the two groups showed a significant difference with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000. Since the obtained value is lower than the predetermined significance level of 0.05, the null hypothesis (H?) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H?) was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of aluminum engraving techniques has a significant effect on students’ creativity in visual arts at the elementary school level. This technique not only fosters students' creativity but also provides them with a new and engaging learning experience.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of the quizizz application in the TGT (Team Games Tournament) learning model to improve elementary school multiplication numeracy skills in class III of SDN Sindangsari, Sukabumi Regency with a total of 28 students. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) Kemmis and Mc Taggart model research design which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, action and observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques use tests in theform of pretests and posttests, and non-tests in the form of observations, interviews, field notes and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. From the pre-cycle learning completion cycle, only 29% or 8 students completed because they still used a formal learning model consisting of lectures, exercises and questions and answers. After implementing the Quizizz application in the TGT learning model in cycle I, it has been proven that there has been an improvement, although it is not yet visible significantly, completion was only 64% or 18 students who completed. Then, from the evaluation results of the previous cycle, the research continued with cycle II by adding improvements, the completion of learning results in increasing multiplication ability increased by 89% or 25 students. Therefore, the research was stopped classically because it had reached or exceeded the 85% achievement indicator. By combining the TGT Model with the use of the Quizzizz application in mathematics learning, teachers can create a learning environment that is stimulative, collaborative and interesting for students. This can help improve students' math skills through a team-based learning approach and utilizing digital technology as an effective learning tool.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of students' communication skills through extracurricular drumband activities in elementary schools. This research focuses on the school where the research is conducted, namely SDN Pakujajar CBM, Sukabumi city. With a focus on the research indicators of respect, empathy, and audible, this research uses descriptive qualitative methods to collect data through observation, interviews and documentation. The results show an increase in students' communication skills, with respect for the individual's role in the group, support between fellow members, and the ability to convey messages clearly. Apart from improving musical skills. Supporting factors such as the role of trainers, school support, student participation, and parental attention are the keys to the successful implementation of this activity. Therefore, this research suggests that drumband extracurricular activities have a positive impact on musical skills, and effectively shape students' communication skills, which are useful for success in various aspects of life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengethui kemampuan berhitung permulaan pada anak kelas 1 SD Babakan panjang pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 melalui permainan tradisional congklak. Observasi sementara yang dilakukan menunjukan bahwa masalah tersebut muncul karena penerapan metode yang konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan antara peneliti dan teman sejawat. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif komparatif dan kritis. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Babakanpanjang dengan subyek penelitian 26 anak. Hasil dari penelitian penerapan permainan congklak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak, pra siklus 36% siklus satu 57%, siklus dua 82%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan permainan congklak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak sampai 82%. Kata-kata Kunci:  peningkatan kemampuan berhitung, permainan congklak

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah literasi sains siswa yang menggunakan media animasi wayang sukuraga pada pembelajaran IPA materi cuaca lebih baik dari siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dan untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi peningkatan literasi sains siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan design dengan populasi penelitian 2 kelas yang diambil dari kelas rendah A dan B  di SDN Hegarmanah Sukabumi. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen test. Berdasarkan uji prasyarat data diketahui bahwa data hasil penelitian berdistribusi normal maka, dilakukan uji lanjutan yaitu uji t dua sampel independen. Ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap literasi sains siswa siswa, ini dibuktikan dengan uji t dua sampel independen maka penelitian ini menolak H0 dan menerima H1. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa literasi sains siwa yang menggunakan media animasi wayang sukuraga lebih baik dari siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Terjadi peningkatan literasi sains siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media animasi wayang sukuraga pada materi cuaca.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa Elektronik Lembar Kerja Siswa (E-LKS) Geometri berbasis kearifan lokal yaitu kearifan lokal khas Kota Sukabumi, Wayang Sukuraga. Sebagai upaya pelestarian budaya dan pendidikan karakter pada materi geometri untuk siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (RnD). Tahapan pada penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Validitas E-LKS Geometri diukur berdasarkan penilaian yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, ahli wayang sukuraga, dan praktisi. Subjek Penelitian adalah siswa kelas V sekolah dasar sebanyak 22 orang siswa terdiri dari 10 orang laki- laki dan 12 orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi dan angket respon siswa. Hasil menunjukan E-LKS yang dikembangkan memenuhi kelayakan dengan rata-rata presentase uji validitas sebesar 88,4% yang termasuk kedalam kategori “Sangat Valid”. Serta praktis untuk digunakan berdasarkan angket respon siswa terhadap E-LKS dengan presentasi 90,4% yang termasuk kedalam kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKS Geometri yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan valid dan praktis berdasarkan uji kevalidan dan kepraktisan.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of use of learning media to support learning, especially social studies subjects with the stigma of social studies subjects simply memorizing it so that what happens is only getting bored learn. This research is a PTK with 4 meetings, where the purpose of this research is to find out the activities of educators, students' critical thinking skills, and learning outcomes through the medium of wayang sukuraga snakes and ladders. The results of this study indicate that before the action was taken, only 60% of students completed their learning outcomes with an average score of 60. After the action was taken in cycle I there was an increase in student learning outcomes to 69% with an average score of 69 and in cycle II there was again increasing the proportion of student learning outcomes to 79& with an average value of 80. So it can be concluded that the application of the Wayang Sukuraga snake and ladder media can help students achieve optimal learning outcomes in social studies subjects and interesting wayang Sukuraga illustrations. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values of character education, specifically discipline and responsibility, in music learning during the CARITA performance at SD Negeri Cicadas, Sukabumi. These two aspects are fundamental in shaping a good individual character, both in school and in society. The subjects of the study consisted of 5 male students: 1 student from grade 4, 3 students from grade 5, and 1 student from grade 6. The selection of upper-grade students was intended to make it easier for them to understand abstract values such as harmony, tempo, and dynamics in playing the gamelan, and the music curriculum aligns with the teaching materials. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving the collection of primary data through observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as secondary data from references such as journals. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that in the music learning process for the CARITA performance, the values of discipline and responsibility were evident in the students, both during the activities and the actual performance.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter sangatlah penting dalam kurikulum merdeka karena berkaitan dengan penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Penguatan profil pelajar pancasila dapat dilakukan melalui pengenalan budaya yang menjadi karakter peserta didik. Berdasarkan observasi awal didapatkan permasalahan mengenai karakter siswa terutama dalam karakter berkebhinekaan global. Diantara salah satu solusi untuk memecahkan masalah ini yaitu dengan mengenalkan media berbasis kearifan lokal kepada peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan karakter berkebhinekaan global peserta didik pada siswa kelas IV dengan menggunakan Wayang Sukuraga sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilakukan melalui II siklus dan terdiri dari dua pembelajaran pada setiap siklusnya. Partisipan terdiri atas 28 Peserta didik yaitu 14 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan angket. Analisa data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu dengan perolehan skor rata-rata siklus I sebesar 73,03 dan siklus II sebesar 86,25. Dengan demikian dapat dismpulkan bahwa Wayang sukuraga dapat meningkatkan sikap berkebhinekaan global siswa.
