Abstract

The development of internet technology is very  fast, the types of social media are very diverse, one of which is the Tik tok application. The use of the Tiktok application continues to develop. The tiktok application can provide a sense of satisfaction for application users. Where, users of the Tiktok social media feel satisfied when they are in contact with the Tiktok application. This study aims to determine the effect of using Tiktok on the life satisfaction of late teenagers at the University Palopo, to describe what are the effects of using Tiktok on life satisfaction of late adolescents. This research is entitled The effect of using tick marks on life  satisfaction in late teenagers at the University of Palopo in 2023. The research method used for this research is a quantitative method. In this study, data were collected using a questionnaire given to the research sample concerned. before the questionnaire is used, the researcher will first test the measuring instrument by testing the validity and reliability. The results showed that there was an effect of using Tiktok on the life satisfaction of late teenagers, as evidenced by the t count of 57.719> t table; 1,990. In addition, based on the significance value of the coefficients table, the nsig value is obtained. 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an influence that the use of tiktok has a positive effect on the life satisfaction of late teenagers at the University of Palopo in 2023.

Abstract

This research investigates students' perceptions of the teaching skills of teaching assistant (TA) tertiary students from the English Education Study Program at the University of Sulawesi Barat, conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Majene. The study aims to assess how well these TA tertiary students perform in key teaching areas, including lesson opening and closing, explaining, questioning, providing reinforcement, introducing variety, guiding small group discussions, and classroom management. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected via questionnaires based on a Likert scale, complemented by guided interviews for qualitative insights. The findings reveal that TA tertiary students received high ratings in explaining (92%), questioning (84%), and classroom management (85%), with an overall average rating of 81.37%, categorized as "very good". While students appreciated the enthusiasm and clarity TA tertiary students brought to lessons, they identified areas for improvement, such as maintaining classroom order, enhancing reinforcement techniques, and diversifying teaching methods. The study underscores the importance of targeted support and continuous development for TA tertiary students to enhance their teaching efficacy and better meet students' diverse needs.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Secara khusus penelitian ini menguji bagaimana struktur modal berperan sebagai variabel intervening yang mampu memoderasi pengaruh pertumbuhan penjualan dan profitabilitas terhadap harga saham perusahaan barang konsumsi primer yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada periode 2019 sampai dengan 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan struktur modal sebagai variabel antara. Data diperoleh melalui analisis laporan keuangan perusahaan, menggunakan data sekunder yang dipilih melalui metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan penjualan dan profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal, namun pertumbuhan penjualan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham. Di sisi lain, profitabilitas terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham, sedangkan sedangkan struktur modal tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham. Selain itu, pertumbuhan penjualan maupun profitabilitas melalui struktur modal tidak berpengaruh terhadap harga saham.Kata kunci: Struktur modal, Pertumbuhan penjualan, Profitabilitas, Harga sahamABSTRACTSpecifically, this study examines how capital structure acts as an intervening variable that is able to moderate the effect of sales growth and profitability on the share price of primary consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2019 to 2023. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with capital structure as an intermediate variable. Data obtained through analysis of the company's financial statements, using secondary data selected through purposive sampling method. The results showed that sales growth and profitability affect the capital structure, but sales growth does not significantly affect the stock price. On the other hand, profitability is proven to have a significant effect on stock prices, while capital structure has no significant effect on stock prices. In addition, sales growth and profitability through capital structure have no effect on stock price.Keywords: Capital structure, Sales growth, Profitability, Stock price

Abstract

Enhancing academic literacy remains a major challenge in promoting scientific publication productivity in Indonesia, particularly in internationally reputable journals such as Scopus. This article describes the implementation and evaluation of a national webinar entitled “Write It Right: Strategies for Writing Scopus-Indexed Scientific Articles,” organized by the English Education Study Program of Universitas Sulawesi Barat. The webinar aimed to strengthen the academic capacity of lecturers, students, and education practitioners in writing scientific articles that meet international standards. The event was conducted online via the Zoom Meeting platform on January 30, 2025, featuring experienced speakers in the field of international publication. A total of 407 participants registered, with 334 participants attending until the end of the session. The event evaluation was carried out through an online form, covering participants' satisfaction with the material, the speaker’s delivery, and the relevance of the content to their academic needs. The evaluation results indicated a high level of satisfaction, with most participants reporting that they gained practical insights and new motivation for writing scientific articles. Participant feedback also revealed that the webinar enhanced their understanding of scientific writing strategies and opened opportunities for future research collaboration. These findings underscore the importance of organizing online academic training as an effective strategy to strengthen the culture of scientific literacy within higher education institutions.

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the fulfillment of Abraham Maslow's hierarchical needs in the family dynamics shown in the film "Family Cemara". This research aims to identify how the characters in the film fulfill Maslow's five levels of needs, namely physiological needs, security, affection, self-esteem and self-actualization. The method used is a qualitative approach with narrative analysis of interactions between family members. The research results show that this film depicts the importance of emotional and social support in meeting basic needs and how relationships between family members contribute to well-being and harmony. In the context of the film, it can be seen that despite facing various challenges and difficulties, the Cemara family is still able to maintain solidarity and support each other. These findings provide insight into the relevance of Maslow's theory in the context of family life and highlight the important role of communication and solidarity in building healthy family dynamics. Apart from that, this article also discusses the implications of fulfilling these needs for individual and collective development in the family, as well as how values transmitted through daily interactions can shape the character and identity of family members. Thus, this research not only enriches filmography studies but also contributes to the understanding of family psychology in the context of Indonesian culture

Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) di Desa Rahabite, Kolaka, memiliki potensi besar dalam menghasilkan produk lokal berkualitas, namun menghadapi kendala dalam pemasaran dan branding yang berdampak pada rendahnya nilai tambah produk. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan nilai tambah produk lokal melalui penguatan branding dan pemanfaatan digital marketing. Mitra pengabdian adalah KWT Desa Rahabite yang terdiri dari 25 anggota aktif. Metode pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan branding, pelatihan digital marketing, pendampingan implementasi, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep branding dari 35% menjadi 85%, keterampilan digital marketing dari 20% menjadi 80%, dan peningkatan omzet penjualan rata-rata 150% setelah 3 bulan implementasi. KWT berhasil menciptakan identitas merek yang kuat dengan logo, kemasan menarik, dan narasi produk yang persuasif. Platform digital marketing yang dimanfaatkan meliputi Instagram, Facebook, dan marketplace lokal yang meningkatkan jangkauan pasar secara signifikan. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan melalui inovasi pemasaran digital dan penguatan brand identity produk lokal

Abstract

Social media has been widely used by many people nowadays. Chatting, playing games, calling friends and relatives, and even making an appointment for a date or reunion with some old friends can now easily be organized in social media. With those many uses, each social media platform has some community standards to regulate the interaction to avoid any violation or offence that may threaten the harmonious atmosphere in the interaction. Despite that, some harsh words, rude comments, and negative attitudes can still be easily found in social media interactions. This research investigates those rapport-threatening behaviors by analyzing how they are expressed and whether they are threatening the social media users’ rapport or not. The research finds that there are several rapport-threatening behaviors in the interactions on Instagram which are sarcasm, insult, criticism, profanity, challenge, and even emoji use.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of fortification of flying fish (Decapterus sp) on the nutritional value and best formulation of cassava crackers (Manihot esculenta). The benefits of this research are expected to provide information to the public about the most appropriate fortification of flying fish for the quality of cassava crackers based on the chemical properties of water content, ash content, protein content, fat, and crude fiber. This research was conducted in July-August 2022. Proximate testing was carried out at the Fishery Product Quality Implementation Center (BPMPP) and the Makassar Health Laboratory Center (BBLKM). The research method used was an experimental research method using an experimental design, namely a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments. Based on the ANOVA test, the research results showed that fortification of flying fish (Decapterus sp) had a significant effect on protein content, fat content, water content, ash content, and crude fiber content of cassava crackers (Manihot esculenta). Based on further tests using the Tukey test, it was found that the best formulation for fortification of flying fish (Decapterus sp) on cassava crackers (Manihot esculenta) was the formulation for sample D.

Abstract

Kecemasan belajar merupakan salah satu faktor yang menghambat perkembangan kognitif dan sosial siswa, khususnya pada jenjang awal sekolah dasar. Deteksi dini oleh guru menjadi penting karena mereka berinteraksi langsung dengan siswa setiap hari. Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran guru dalam mendeteksi kecemasan belajar sejak dini berdasarkan literatur yang telah ada. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai referensi ilmiah terkait peran guru, psikologi pendidikan anak usia dini, dan kecemasan belajar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki posisi strategis dalam mengidentifikasi tanda-tanda awal kecemasan belajar melalui pengamatan perilaku, interaksi verbal, serta dinamika belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pelatihan guru dalam aspek psikologis agar mampu menangani kecemasan secara efektif.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan penukaran mata uang kartal (kertas) rusak di pasar Baruga Kendari dalam tinjauan hukum Islam terhadap transaksi penukaran mata uang kartal (kertas) rusak di pasar Baruga Kendari. Menurut perkembangannya uang memiliki beberapa fungsi dalam perekonomian, yaitu; sebagai alat pertukaran (medium of exchange), sebagai unit penghitung (unit of account), penyimpan nilai (store of value), dan standar untuk pembayaran ditangguhkan. Sesuai dengan ketentuan pelaksanaan dari peraturan Bank Indonesia Nomor: 6/14/PBI/2004 yang direvisi menjadi PBO Nomor: 9/10/2006 mengenai pengeluaran, pengedaran, pencabutan dan penarikan serta pemusnahan uang dijelaskan mengenai layanan penukaran uang rupiah kepada masyarakat. Penukaran dapat dilakukan di kantor pusat Bank Indonesia maupun di kantor perwakilan Bank Indonesia. Praktik penukaran uang kertas rusak yang terjadi di pasar Baruga dalam tinjauan hukum Islam tidak diperbolehkan, karena termasuk kategori riba fadhal, hal tersebut dikarenakan praktik penukaran uang kertas rusak di pasar Baruga menggunakan akad jual beli yang dimana obyek yang diperjualbelikan adalah uang kertas yang rusak. Penerapan jasa penukaran mata uang kertas rusak yang terjadi di pasar Baruga Kota Kendari terdapat beberapa hal yaitu akad yang digunakan dalam praktiknya adalah akad jual beli, bukan akad sharf (tukar-menukar), penentuan harga ditentukan secara sepihak oleh pemberi jasa penukaran uang rusak, penentuan besaran nominal dalam transaksi penukaran uang rusak adalah 50% dari nilai nominal mata uang rusak yang ditukarkan dan faktor penyebab para pedagang dan masyarakat memilih menukarkan uang rusak di pasar Baruga Kota Kendari, para pedagang dan masyarakat tidak mengetahui bahwa pihak BI (Bank Indonesia) yang telah ditunjuk dapat menerima penukaran mata uang yang rusak atau tidak layak edar.
