Abstract

Abstract  The issue in these studies shows that there were negative impulses on the term discipline, sanctions that often lead to students. However, the term punishment itself does not only target rule breakers. However, there are other factors besides students, namely the system, culture, economy, the existence of domestic violence which has an impact on the psychology of students through SD 2 Kereng Bangkirai and SMP Negeri 3 Rungan, Central Kalimantan. Furthermore, researchers aim to show a variety of narratives as voices that do not need to be ignored by readers or systems that embrace the silencing of voiceless voices. Methods of this research are qualitative research methods with direct interview techniques as primary narrative income from teachers as research subjects. Results show that there is an action of sanctioning students as a deterrent effect but there are also narratives that view punishment as an additional job for violators.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the effect of the number of nodes on the performance of data communication in Nomad clusters using the gossip protocol. Through a series of tests, it can be concluded that data communication performance is greatly affected by the number of nodes in the cluster. Tests were conducted using two clusters, where one cluster consists of three nodes. The results show that when using a cluster with three nodes, no packet loss occurs in all data transmissions performed, indicating a reliable communication system. The average latency in one data communication cycle varied in each test, but generally remained within the acceptable range of below 100ms based on data communication quality of service parameters. CPU and disc usage remained relatively stable throughout the experiment. Although there were slight differences in throughput between clusters, the throughput generally remained above 100 Mbps, which is still in the good category according to the research parameters. These results show the importance of taking into account the number of nodes in the cluster in designing and managing data communication systems in a Nomad cluster environment with the gossip protocol.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to analyze the inorganic compound nano-Fe2O3 ironstone for enhancing the compressive and shear bond strength of drilling cement. According to the American Petroleum Association (API), the minimum recommended compressive strength value to continue drilling operations is 500 psi, while the minimum shear bond strength is 100 psi. Nano-Fe2O3 in this study was obtained by synthesizing ironstone from Jorong, West Sumatra, using the coprecipitation method. Based on XRF and XRD tests, 62.8% Fe was obtained in the ironstone compound, and nano-Fe2O3 with the alpha phase was detected using Match 3. Five samples with different concentrations were prepared before starting the cement strength test. The test was conducted following the bio-axial loading test procedure, where each sample will be loaded with a certain amount of load force until the sample breaks. The pressure at the point where the sample broke was recorded as the maximum loading value to determine the compressive strength (CS) and shear bond strength (SBS). The highest CS value obtained was 2536.2953 psi with the addition of 1% nano-Fe2O3, and the highest SBS value obtained was 351.8479 psi with the addition of 1% nano-Fe2O3.

Abstract

The problem that will be discussed is how the art of karugut culture can be used as a medium for teaching Sunday school children and conveying the values of the message of Bible stories by making karugut art as one of the media that can be used. The aim of this research is to develop the karkut art media as a learning medium for how Sunday school teachers can use thekarkut art media when teaching Sunday school children. The methods used in this research include: interviews, observation, literature study. From the results of the research, it is proven that by teaching using the sackut art method there is a significant increase as previously the attendance of Sunday school children was small but when using the sackut art the attendance and enthusiasm of Sunday school children increased.

Abstract

This paper is concerned with the exploration of women identified with Jesus as an intrinsic part of humanity and as co-workers with God. The life and existence of women in God are women working, loving and at the same time able to struggle within themselves and have the same compassion as men according to Luke 15:8-10. The research method is qualitative research. This qualitative research uses secondary sources, i.e. sources from recent journals, to look at the initiative of God and women in the book of Luke. The results show that women in God are heirs of God's nature, able to forgive, to persevere in all matters of life, to be loved and to love, and also as a metaphor for the salvation of humanity through the parable of the lost Dirham (coin).

Abstract

Abstract

Graphical Abstract   Highlight Research 1. The development of snack bars from catfish head powder (CHP). 2. The CHP was rich in nutritional composition and could be an additive ingredient in snack bars. 3. Adding CHP increased protein, lipid, and fibre content in the snack bars. 4. Snack bars with the addition of CHP were acceptable on all sensory attributes. 5. Snack bars produced from CHP could be used as an alternative emergency food.     Abstract During natural disasters, emergency food is often needed to meet the victims’ nutritional intake such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, and energy. As an alternative, catfish heads, which are usually rich in nutritional content, can be developed into a snack bar product as emergency food. This research aimed to evaluate the chemical, physical and sensory properties of snack bars produced from catfish head powder (CHP) and purple sweet potato flour (PSPF). This research consisted of several stages, namely making CHP and PSPF, preparing snack bars, and analysing snack bars’ chemical, physical, and sensory properties. The ratios of CHP and PSPF in the preparation of snack bars stage were F0 (0:100), F1 (25:75), F2 (50:50), and F3 (75:25). The CHP contained 43.52% protein, 21.24% lipid, 4.6% fiber, and 384.38 Kcal/100 g total energy. The addition of CHP and PSPF affected the chemical (proximate and antioxidant activity), physical (redness and hardness values), and sensory (aroma and overall acceptance) properties of the produced snack bars. All snack bars had protein content that complied with Indonesian National Standards (INS) for cereal bar biscuits. The protein, lipid, carbohydrate, and total energy content of the snack bar were in accord with the standards of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), and emergency food standards. It is also revealed that F2 was the best treatment based on its chemical, physical, and sensory properties. Indeed, snack bars from CHP and PSPF can be utilized as an emergency food alternative.
