Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat motivasi siswa kelas VII SMPN 4 Lembang dalam mengembangkan projek P5 kurikulum merdeka. Senam pagi telah menjadi bagian penting dari pendidikan jasmani di sekolah untuk meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan siswa. Untuk mengetahui lebih jelas motivasi siswa SMPN 4 Lembang dalam melakukan kegiatan senam pagi, dilakukan pengumpulan data terhadap 153 siswa kelas 7 dengan metode survei analisis dan sebuah quisioner. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan motivasi positif terhadap program senam pagi dan berhasil membangkitkan motivasi tinggi siswa kelas 7 dengan hasil (60,78 %) pada sebaran persentase siswa tersebut termasuk dalam kategori “tinggi”, siswa dengan tingkat motivasi (30,07%) tergolong “sangat tinggi” dan (9,15%) tergolong “cukup tinggi”, yang juga cukup signifikan. Faktor-faktor seperti dukungan sekolah, interaksi social siswa, dan persepsi efektivitas program semuanya mempunyai dampak yang signifikan terhadap tingkat motivasi siswa. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya dukungan sekolah dan interaksi social siswa dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam program olahraga pagi.

Abstract

Filsafat ilmu memiliki peran penting dalam membangun kerangka berpikir kritis, memahami esensi pengetahuan, dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moral dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu, termasuk pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian ini menelaah relevansi filsafat ilmu untuk memperkaya praktik pendidikan jasmani dan pengembangan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA, meliputi tahap identifikasi, penyaringan, kelayakan, dan inklusi. Sumber data mencakup Google Scholar dan Taylor & Francis dengan kata kunci terkait filsafat ilmu dan pendidikan jasmani, menghasilkan 12 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa filsafat ilmu memberikan dasar epistemologis untuk mengembangkan metode ilmiah dalam pendidikan jasmani. Filsafat olahraga mendukung pembentukan nilai sosial dan moralitas melalui pendekatan multidisipliner. Selain itu, filsafat ilmu membantu guru mengintegrasikan refleksi kritis dan pengajaran berbasis nilai dalam pembelajaran, meningkatkan profesionalisme mereka.Kajian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya filsafat ilmu dalam menciptakan pendekatan pembelajaran holistik yang relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Integrasi filsafat ilmu memastikan bahwa pendidikan jasmani tidak hanya mendukung pengembangan fisik tetapi juga membangun karakter dan etika siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa filsafat ilmu menjadi kerangka penting dalam mengarahkan pendidikan jasmani agar lebih bermakna dan bertanggung jawab secara moral.Filsafat ilmu memperkaya pendidikan jasmani dengan memberikan dasar teoretis dan praktis yang mendukung pembentukan karakter dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, menjadikannya relevan di era modern

Abstract

Character refers to a set of moral values, attitudes, and behaviors that form an individual's personality and influence their actions across various situations. This study aims to analyze the contribution of physical education to character development in school students through a systematic literature review approach. The research followed the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses) protocol, utilizing the Covidence platform to facilitate the screening and data extraction process. Articles were retrieved from Google Scholar and Crossref databases using Harzing’s Publish or Perish application. Out of 750 initial articles, 15 met the established inclusion and exclusion criteria and were selected for systematic analysis. Thematic synthesis was applied to identify key findings across the studies. The results reveal that physical education plays a significant role in shaping students’ holistic character. Structured physical activities within the physical education curriculum can foster core values such as responsibility, cooperation, independence, discipline, tolerance, honesty, and self-confidence. The findings conclude that physical education not only supports physical development but also serves as a strategic medium for character reinforcement. This study offers important implications for curriculum development and learning practices that integrate character education through physical activities.

Abstract

Introduction: Physical literacy is crucial for the mental health and quality of life of university sports students, yet a research gap exists in understanding how these constructs interact through a gender-sensitive lens, particularly within sports education programs where psychological distress is rising despite high physical competence. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical literacy, mental health, and quality of life among sports students, considering the role of gender as a covariate. The research design used is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach. Method: The research sample consisted of 211 students from the Faculty of Sports and Health Education, Indonesia University of Education. The instruments used included the Perceived Physical Literacy Instrument (PPLI), Short Mental Health Scale (SKM-12), and WHOQOL-BREF. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple regression, and ANCOVA. Result: The results show that the average scores for physical literacy, mental health, and quality of life are in the moderate to high range with a normal and homogeneous data distribution. Multiple regression analysis shows that mental health has a significant effect on quality of life (B = 1.217; p < 0.001), while physical literacy has no significant effect (B = 0.171; p = 0.072). Simultaneously, both variables were able to explain 52.6% of the variation in students' quality of life (R² = 0.526; p < 0.001). ANCOVA analysis confirmed that the effect of mental health remained significant after controlling for gender, while physical literacy and gender differences were not significant. Conclusion: These findings indicate that mental health is the primary predictor of student athletes' quality of life, while physical literacy plays a more supportive role. Intervention recommendations focus on strengthening mental health integrated with improving physical literacy to comprehensively support student athletes' well-being.

Abstract

Abstract: This study systematically reviews the role of swimming in improving physical fitness based on recent empirical evidence. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using PRISMA and PICO frameworks was conducted through the Scopus database. From 426 studies identified, 20 met inclusion criteria and were analyzed. Results show that 94.4% had moderate to high quality, confirming swimming’s significant effects on aerobic capacity, body composition, muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and functional fitness. Aquatic environments provide resistance and buoyancy, promoting physiological adaptations with minimal injury risk. Practically, swimming is recommended as an effective, safe, and inclusive exercise for all age groups. Future studies should determine optimal training doses and explore physiological mechanisms underlying aquatic fitness adaptations. Keywords: swimming, physical fitness, aquatic exercise, systematic literature review   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan meninjau secara sistematis peran aktivitas renang terhadap peningkatan kebugaran jasmani berdasarkan bukti empiris terbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan kerangka PRISMA dan PICO melalui basis data Scopus. Dari 426 artikel yang ditemukan, 20 memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis lebih lanjut. Hasil menunjukkan 94,4% studi berkualitas sedang hingga tinggi, menegaskan bahwa aktivitas renang berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan kapasitas aerobik, komposisi tubuh, kekuatan otot, fleksibilitas, keseimbangan, dan kebugaran fungsional. Lingkungan air memberikan resistensi dan daya apung yang mendukung adaptasi fisiologis dengan risiko cedera rendah. Secara praktis, renang direkomendasikan sebagai latihan efektif, aman, dan inklusif bagi semua kelompok usia. Penelitian selanjutnya perlu mengeksplorasi dosis optimal dan mekanisme fisiologis adaptasi kebugaran akibat latihan di air.   Kata Kunci: renang, kebugaran jasmani, latihan akuatik, systematic literature review
