Abstract

Komunikasi matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang penting untuk dimiliki oleh siswa. Namun faktanya berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran matematika di SMP Negeri 3 Kayangan didapatkan informasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah bahwa siswa merasa kesulitan pada materi statistika dan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan konten e-learning berbasis moodle yang terintegrasi dengan model pembelajaran PBL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi statistika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen (kuantitatif) dengan menggunakan bentuk desain Pre-test-post-test nonequivalent comparison-group design. Siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kayangan menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini. Sedangkan sampel yang akan dipilih terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu 20 siswa kelas VIII-1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan 20 siswa kelas VIII-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa soal pretest dan posttest yang mengukur kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang terdiri dari 3 butir soal Pretest dan 3 butir soal posttest. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi (2- tailed) kurang dari signifikansi t (0,010< 0,05), ini berarti H0 ditolak. Sehingga penggunaan e-learning berbasis problem based learning lebih efektif daripada kelas dengan pembelajaran dengan modul guru. Hasil uji efektivitas juga menunjukkan hal sama bahwa peningkatan rata-rata kelas kontrol x = 18,8 sedangkan peningkatan rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen adalah y = 30,4. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa y > x sehingga penggunaan e- learning Moodle berbasis PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik pada materi statistika. The Effectiveness of Using Moodle-Assisted e-Learning Content Integrated with PBL Learning Models in Improving Mathematical Communication Skills Abstract Mathematical communication is an important ability for students to have. However, in fact, based on the results of observations and interviews with mathematics teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Kayangan, it was found that students' mathematical communication skills were still relatively low, that students found it difficult in statistics material and. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using moodle-based e-learning content that is integrated with the PBL learning model to improve students' mathematical communication skills in statistics material. This research is a study using an experimental research design (quantitative) using a pre-test-post-test nonequivalent comparison-group design. Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kayangan became the population in this study. While the sample to be selected consisted of two classes, namely 20 students in class VIII-1 as the control class and 20 students in class VIII-2 as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were pretest and posttest questions that measured students' mathematical communication skills consisting of 3 pretest questions and 3 posttest questions. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing, it was found that the significance of (2-tailed) was less than the significance of t (0.010 <0.05), this means that H0 was rejected. So that the use of problem-based learning-based e-learning is more effective than classes with teacher module learning. The results of the effectiveness test also showed the same thing that the average increase in the control class was x = 18.8 while the average increase for the experimental class was y = 30.4. Thus it can be concluded that y > x so that the use of PBL-based Moodle e-learning is effective in improving students' mathematical communication skills in statistics material.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide a reference for learning approaches that are proven to improve student academic achievement in Islamic elementary schools. This research uses meta-analysis to collect findings from other studies sourced from the same literature: five case studies of students using the Discovery Learning learning paradigm published in the national journal of the Higher Education Accreditation Board (Kemenristek Dikti). This research found that the use of the discovery learning paradigm to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic elementary schools is very effective, especially in increasing student achievement in these subjects. Therefore, the Discovery Learning teaching methodology is integrated into teacher-led lesson plans, thus having an impact on students' ability to deepen their understanding of the lesson material.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain how teachers acquire teaching skills to develop students' mathematical competence. The research method used is literature study. This research was conducted using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. The data collection instrument was an article, carried out using the Publish Or Perish (POP) application then entered into Google Schoolar with the keyword "pedagogy development for mathematics teachers". The articles collected are articles published in SINTA accredited journals during the period 2015 to 2022. The results of the analysis can be concluded as follows; 1) Mathematical competency is mastery of knowledge and mathematical skills consisting of hard skills and soft skills. Mathematics hard skills are students' thinking abilities that enable them to gain significant knowledge. Meanwhile, soft skills are skills possessed in interactions with other people. 2) Teacher ability is the teacher's ability to understand students and master interactive and pedagogical learning. 3) The mathematics MGMP forum can help mathematics teachers gain pedagogical competence. They can also receive training and workshops, support for using new technology, and empowerment through supervision.Keywords: Pedagogical Competency; Mathematical Skills  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana guru memperoleh keterampilan mengajar untuk mengembangkan kompetensi matematika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan sistematik literatur review (SLR). Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa artikel, dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi Publish Or Perish (POP) kemudian masuk ke google schoolar dengan kata kunci “pengembangan pedagogi untuk guru matematika”. Artikel yang dikumpulkan merupakan artikel yang diterbitkan pada jurnal terakreditasi SINTA selama periode 2015 hingga 2022. Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan yaitu; 1) Kompetensi matematika adalah penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan matematika yang terdiri dari hard skill dan soft skill. Hard skill matematika adalah kemampuan berpikir siswa yang memungkinkan mereka memperoleh pengetahuan yang signifikan. Sedangkan soft skill adalah keterampilan yang dimiliki dalam interaksi dengan orang lain. 2) Kemampuan guru adalah kemampuan guru untuk memahami siswa dan menguasai pembelajaran interaktif dan pedagogis. 3) Forum MGMP matematika dapat membantu guru matematika memperoleh kompetensi pedagogis. Mereka juga dapat mendapatkan pelatihan dan worshop, dukungan untuk menggunakan teknologi baru, dan pemberdayaan melalui supervisi. Kata kunci: Kompetensi Pedagogi; Keterampilan Matematis

Abstract

Integral is a branch of algebra included in the calculus course, making it essential to master. This research aims to analyze the skills of students with visual learning styles, auditory learning styles, and kinesthetic learning styles using discovery learning on the topic of integrals. The method used in this study is a mixed-method approach with an Explanatory Design. The first stage involves the collection and analysis of quantitative data, which takes priority in answering the research questions. The next stage is the qualitative data collection phase, where three students with different learning styles are interviewed to gain deeper insights. The results of the study indicate that learning using the discovery learning model has a significant effect on students' learning outcomes. The average score improvement of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic students shows positive results through learning using the discovery learning model, with the highest improvement seen in kinesthetic students (23.67) and visual students (22.89). The results of the mean comparison test or ANOVA (One-Way ANOVA) show that the significance value is 0.027 < 0.05, which means there is a difference in the mean posttest scores of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic students. This study demonstrates the significant impact of the discovery learning model on integral learning outcomes, revealing that visual learners outperform auditory learners, while kinesthetic learners show comparable outcomes to visual learners.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan pelajaran yang sering di “olimpiadekan” mulai dari tingkat SD/MI sampai tingkat SMA/MA. Olimpiade matematika tingkat SD/MI biasanya diadakan setiap tahun yaitu pada bulan mei-juni. Soal-soal olimpiade matematika sangat jauh beda dengan pelajaran matematika di sekolah. Oleh karena itu selain siswa harus sering berlatih dalam menjawab atau memecahkan soal-soal olimpiade, siswa juga harus memiliki tutor/pembimbing sebagai perantara untuk menuju dunia olimpiade matematika.Tujuan Kegiatan ini adalah sebagai bentuk penguatan sekaligus pembinaan agar siswa lebih siap dalam mengikuti olimpiade matematika. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan selama lima hari. Kegiatan pelaksanaan PKM ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4-10 November 2024 di Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Wahyi, fokus kegiatan kami di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Nurul Wahyi kelas V. Adapun banyak siswa sebagai sampel dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah 20 orang, yang terdiri dari 6 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan.Hari pertama kami berikan soal pretest sebanyak 5 soal yang terdiri dari 2 soal tipe soal rutin dan 3 soal tipe non rutin. Pada hari kedua kami jelaskan materi tentang bilangan yang meliputi: bilangan cacah, bilangan bulat, bilangan rasional, dan bilangan prima. Hari ketiga yang dibahas adalah: Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK), dan Kelipatan Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB). Sedangkan pada hari keempat yang dibahas adalah: persamaan linear satu variabel dan persamaan linear dua variabel. Adapun yang dibahas pada hari kelima adalah kami berikan soal-soal posttest. Hasil kegiatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan yaitu sebelum diberikan perlakuan nilai rata-rata siswa adalah dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan nilai rata-rata siswa adalah .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the flipped classroom learning model on junior high school students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of eighth-grade students divided into experimental and control groups. The research instrument was a mathematical critical thinking skills test based on interpretation, analysis, inference, and evaluation indicators. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test, then analyzed using the t-test. The results showed a significant difference in mathematical critical thinking skills between students taught using the flipped classroom model and those taught with conventional learning. The flipped classroom model positively influences students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the discovery learning model in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving skills in Grade VII of SMPN 3 Praya Tengah during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 40 students divided into two groups: an experimental class (20 students) applying the discovery learning model, and a control class (20 students) using conventional teaching methods. The research instrument was a problem-solving test on algebra, administered before and after the treatment. Data analysis using an independent samples t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups with a sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the discovery learning model is effective in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in improving students’ creative thinking skills. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group. The population consisted of all eighth-grade students of MTS Arrahmah NW Pringgarata in the 2024/2025 academic year. Samples were selected using purposive sampling, with class VIII A as the experimental group taught using CTL and class VIII B as the control group taught using conventional methods. The instrument used was a creative thinking test based on the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, which had been validated and proven reliable. Data were analyzed through normality, homogeneity, independent t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The findings revealed that the experimental group achieved a higher mean score (80.92) compared to the control group (66.12). The t-test showed a significance value < 0.001, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, CTL is effective in enhancing students’ creative thinking skills, particularly in learning Pythagorean Theorem.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Bamboo Dancing type learning on student learning outcomes at Mertak Tombok Public Elementary School. This research is experimental research. The technique used is pre and post test with a total of 20 multiple choice questions. The pre-test is carried out before the learning process ends, carried out to determine students' main skills in the material to be studied, which consists of 20 multiple choice questions. The results of this research are that the application of the bamboo dance cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes with a post-test score of 72.28 in the experimental class and 64.25 in the control class. And the results of the independent t test were 0.01 in the experimental class and 0.02 in the control class.

Abstract

PKM ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga pendidik dalam menghasilkan karya akademik di SD Islam Al-Karimah. Intervensi tersebut melibatkan program keterlibatan masyarakat yang berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan pendidik dalam menyusun makalah akademik untuk fakultas di Sekolah Dasar Islam Al-Karimah, yang terletak di Desa Bodak, Kecamatan Praya, Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Langkah-langkah prosedural meliputi: (1) melakukan pertemuan dengan para pendidik SD Islam Al-Karimah, (2) mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh para pendidik, (3) merancang strategi untuk mengatasi tantangan dan hambatan ini, dan (4) menguraikan agenda untuk sesi pelatihan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif, memanfaatkan berbagai metode pengumpulan data seperti observasi, wawancara, tinjauan dokumentasi, dan kuesioner yang menggabungkan pertanyaan terbuka atau deskriptif melalui Google Forms. Hasil dari usaha PKM yang dilakukan menunjukkan efektivitas bantuan yang diberikan oleh tim proyek kepada para pendidik di SD Islam Al-Karimah. Temuan dari publikasi penelitian akademis mengungkapkan tingkat pencapaian 85% dalam memenuhi tujuan yang ditetapkan.
