Abstract

Non-formal education has different programs according to the current and future needs of society. The course institutions in Gresik Regency are the unofficial educational institutions of the Gresik Regency Education Office which organize programs, namely the SMA Package C Equivalency Education Program, the SMP Package B Equality Education Program and the Sewing Course. The current grouping of new student selection is felt to be less effective because the grouping is based on certificates obtained more than two years ago. This is because most non-formal students drop out of school due to financial constraints. So that the value given to the certificate is not in accordance with the qualifications of students while taking informal education. This study uses the K-Medoids cluster using datasets, namely practical exam scores, final exam scores and interview scores. The data used are students enrolled in package C as high school equivalents as many as 28 students and 32 students enrolled in package B as high school equivalents. The results obtained in this study are educational institutions that can place prospective students at a more accurate value. The Medoid-K clustering procedure for new student clustering requires two iterations to get a total S-distance of 54.594255.

Abstract

This study explores the pivotal role of digital marketplaces in enhancing the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, with a focus on the sorghum entrepreneur marketplace. Through a comprehensive methodological approach that includes interviews, observations, literature reviews, and system design analysis via use case diagrams, this research investigates the user satisfaction levels of the marketplace employing the Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service (PIECES) framework. The findings reveal an average satisfaction level of 4.41 across these indicators, indicating a high degree of user satisfaction with the marketplace. This study extends beyond traditional marketplace evaluation to consider the educational implications of digital platforms in promoting agricultural entrepreneurship. It highlights the marketplace's role not only as a commercial tool but also as an educational resource that enhances users' digital literacy, e-commerce understanding, and sustainable agricultural practices. This dual focus underscores the importance of integrating educational objectives into digital marketplace development, aiming to foster lifelong learning and professional growth among users.

Abstract

There are many studies related to cost estimation applied in a project, but only a few employ using “stepwise” method. This approach is expected to assist in solving complex problems by establishing a criteria hierarchy, subjectively assessed by interested parties, and incorporating various considerations to develop weights or priorities. The foundation of the stepwise approach relies on well-documented findings, which assert that 80% of the total project cost corresponds to the 20% most expensive components of the work. The research systematically collected data for project development estimates based on the bill of quantities from each year, as well as the HSPK (activity main unit price) in Gresik Regency from 2016 to 2018.  This research aims to develop a conceptualized estimation model that provides clear, rapid, and relatively accurate initial project cost information. The results of this research include analysis of stepwise approach on cost realization, analysis of accuracy of the cost estimation model for buildings using the stepwise method, and an analysis of the cost of road and bridge infrastructure projects to facilitate completion in Gresik Regency. The research concludes that the analysis of the Cost Significant Model's impact on cost realization in the Public Works and Spatial Office's Highways Division in Gresik Regency has resulted in a cost estimation model for road development with an accuracy range from -12.7% to 16.0%, with an average accuracy rate of 0.59%. Additionally, there is a very strong correlation (R) of the independent variable (work in Division 2) and the total development cost, indicating that fluctuations in the cost of significant components are closely linked to changes in the overall development cost. The analysis of infrastructure project costs related to roads and bridges for project completion revealed that the highest value among independent variables is associated with Division 7, at Rp. 4,403,054 per m2. This suggests that the cost of Division 7 work is the most influential, while Division 1 (X1) has the lowest cost, at Rp. 35,589 per m2. Furthermore, there is a work component with zero cost, namely, Division 4 works.

Abstract

Marketplace is a virtual market where the market is a meeting place for buyers and sellers to make transactions. Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya has established an Entrepreneurship Sorghum Unit (UES) starting in 2009 and is collaborating with Sorghum Entrepreneurs in several areas in East Java. The objectives of this research are: (1) creating a marketplace for Sorghum Entrepreneurs who have joined UES, (2) Classifying using the K-Medoid method to group Sorghum Entrepreneurs based on the income that has been obtained by UES, (3) Conducting mapping based on clustering results so that UES can provide assistance to sorghum entrepreneurs. From the results of the questionnaire, obtained data on the level of desire for UES for each variable from 35 sorghum entrepreneurs as respondents. Quantitative data obtained is then entered and then proceed with the clustering stage. The data is divided into several clusters based on the type of sorghum, products sold and sales results. After that, the cluster performance calculation is carried out by calculating the k-fold value. analysis of the results of testing the effect of the k-fold value is the best percentage found in the k-fold value = 6 with an accuracy value of 34.597%.
