Abstract

This survey is a quantitative survey that was conducted with a sample of 55 employees from PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar utilizing the total sample/saturated sample/census approach. The goal of this study was to identify and assess the influence of leadership style and job motivation on job satisfaction and performance among employees of PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar. The results of the validity tests are valid, the results of the reliability tests are reliable, the results of the normality tests are the normal distribution of the study data, and the heteroscedasticity tests do not reveal any heteroscedasticity. A multicollinearity test reveals that there is no multicollinearity. The following are the study's findings, based on data analysis and discussion: 1. Leadership style has a major influence on employee work satisfaction at PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar. 2. Work motivation has a significant influence on employee work satisfaction at PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar. Job satisfaction has a substantial influence on staff performance at PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar. 4. The management style of PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar has a significant impact on staff performance. 5. Work motivation has a significant influence on the performance of employees at PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar. 6. In PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar, leadership style has a substantial impact on staff performance via work satisfaction. 7. Job satisfaction at PT Jaya Abadi Denpasar has a major influence on staff performance.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the tourism sector in Bali, including the sales of Bali's typical souvenirs at Pasar Sukawati Gianyar. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of Bali's typical souvenirs at Pasar Sukawati Gianyar using SWOT analysis during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research used a qualitative method with in-depth interviews with five Bali's typical souvenirs traders at Pasar Sukawati Gianyar. The results showed that the strengths of the marketing strategy of Bali's typical souvenirs at Pasar Sukawati Gianyar during the pandemic are good product quality and competitive prices. The weaknesses of the marketing strategy are a lack of innovation and a lack of online product promotion. The opportunities of the marketing strategy are to increase the use of digital platforms to promote products and develop new products. The threats of the marketing strategy are strong competition from online souvenir markets and a decrease in the number of visitors to the market during the pandemic. Therefore, Bali's typical souvenirs traders at Pasar Sukawati Gianyar need to optimize strengths and opportunities, as well as overcome weaknesses and threats by innovating and improving online promotion. This study contributes to understanding the marketing strategy of Bali's typical souvenirs in traditional markets during the COVID-19 pandemic and provides recommendations to address the issues faced by Bali's typical souvenirs traders at Pasar Sukawati Gianyar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada informasi mengenai Strategi Komunikasi Pemasaran Untuk Meningkatkan Penjualan Sepeda Motor Pada CV. Yamaha Indoperkasa Trosobo. Penelitian ini lebih memfokuskan untuk mengetahui Strategi Komunikasi Pemasaran apa saja yang digunakan untuk menarik lebih banyak pelanggan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian di Dealer Yamaha Indoperkasa Trosobo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dimana data yang dikumpulkan merupakan hasil wawancara dengan delapan orang informan yang masing-masing memiliki jawaban yang diyakini dapat meningkatkan jumlah pelanggan. Oleh karena itu perusahaan melakukan beberapa strategi pemasaran melalui promosi, periklanan melalui konten yang menarik, media sosial yang banyak dijangkau pelanggan, hubungan masyarakat dan pemasaran langsung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa promosi, periklanan yang menarik, media sosial yang memadai, dan pemasaran langsung sama efektifnya dalam meningkatkan penjualan sepeda motor di dealer Yamaha Indoperkasa Trosobo. Selain itu, evaluasi perusahaan terhadap karyawan dalam rangka mencapai target penjualan juga selalu dilakukan dengan baik dan terarah.

Abstract

The community service activity conducted at Moola Café, Lamongan, aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in facing increasingly complex market challenges. Involving 10 MSME participants from various sectors, the seminar focused on improving communication skills, implementing eco-business intelligence, and developing sustainable business strategies. Through sessions on public speaking and effective communication, participants were encouraged to boost their confidence and ability to present their products. A questionnaire completed by participants identified the challenges faced, such as market access, funding, and knowledge of sustainability, as well as opportunities in creative product development and digital marketing. Collaborative discussions generated ideas for forming discussion groups, conducting joint training, and establishing marketing collaborations. The follow-up plan includes mentoring in the application of strategies based on the DEA+LCA FRAMEWORK, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of their businesses. The results of this activity indicate an improvement in skills, a better understanding of sustainable practices, and strengthened networks among MSME participants. With continued support, it is hoped that MSMEs will become more adaptive and innovative, contributing to the sustainable growth of the creative industry in the Lamongan region. This activity successfully created an ecosystem that supports the development of MSMEs and enhances their competitiveness in a market increasingly demanding sustainability and innovation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze in depth the marketing strategies implemented by Jaya Abadi (JA) in an attempt to promote its refinery products in the global market. Through a qualitative approach combining literature reviews and in-depth interviews, this study concludes that JA has implemented an integrated segmentation, selection, and positioning strategy to reach the global market. In addition, the company has established an effective distribution network, both locally and internationally. The results show that refinery products have significant competitive advantages, namely strength, durability, and respect for the environment. These advantages align with global market trends, which increasingly favor sustainable products. The economic analysis shows that using raffia is good for the environment and can also increase a company's profitability. Therefore, this study concludes that raffia has great potential as an alternative sustainable packaging material and could open up greater opportunities in the global market. Further research is recommended to explore more specific practical applications and the commercial potential of raffia.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of hedonic shopping, shopping lifestyle, and free shipping on impulse buying among S1 Management students. The research employs a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires directed at students who actively use online marketplaces. The population for this study consists of 4,831 students, while the sample includes 100 respondents selected using probability sampling techniques, specifically simple random sampling. This sample selection is based on the recommendation that a minimum of 30 respondents is necessary to approximate a normal distribution. The distributed questionnaire features five score values to reflect respondents' attitudes toward the research variables. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, enabling researchers to evaluate the relationships between variables systematically. The results indicated that hedonic shopping and free shipping have a positive but insignificant effect on impulse buying. In contrast, a shopping lifestyle was found to positively and significantly influence impulse buying. This finding suggests that while university students exhibit hedonic shopping tendencies, their impulsive buying decisions are more significantly influenced by their shopping lifestyle. This research provides valuable insights for marketers seeking to understand consumer behavior in the digital age and to develop marketing strategies that align with the characteristics and preferences of young consumers.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas strategi manajerial yang diterapkan oleh PT Beton Jaya Manunggal, Tbk dalam pengelolaan tenaga kerja outsourcing guna meningkatkan efisiensi biaya serta produktivitas operasional perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui survei terstruktur dan analisis statistik. Sampel terdiri dari tenaga kerja outsourcing, pihak manajemen perusahaan, serta vendor outsourcing yang dipilih secara purposive berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Variabel yang diteliti mencakup pemilihan vendor, penilaian kinerja, pelatihan kompetensi, dan sistem insentif yang berbasis pada kinerja. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan inferensial untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara strategi manajerial dengan tingkat produktivitas dan efisiensi biaya operasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa strategi manajerial yang diterapkan memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja unit kerja dan berhasil menurunkan biaya operasional sebesar 15% dalam kurun waktu satu tahun. Selain itu, komunikasi yang baik antara pihak manajemen, vendor, dan pekerja outsourcing terbukti mendukung kelancaran operasional. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa strategi manajerial yang terstruktur dan mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan industri dapat menjadi solusi dalam mengoptimalkan efisiensi biaya dan produktivitas kerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan referensi oleh perusahaan lain dalam merumuskan kebijakan pengelolaan outsourcing yang lebih efektif dan berorientasi jangka panjang melalui pendekatan berbasis data kuantitatif.

Abstract

This study focuses on examining the integrative factors that determine successful innovations in the business process of Umrah in PT. Umi Muthmainah Berkah Umrah and Hajj Travel are located in Surabaya. The factors examined were technology, regulation, human resource (HR) quality, and pilgrims' trust. The method used was qualitative, with a case study approach and data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results showed that while digitized systems bolster operational efficiency and convenience for pilgrims, a far greater hurdle in human resources limits the ability to utilize technology. Travel companies are subject to strict compliance requirements, which necessitate continual adaptation and travel agency innovation. The human resource quality gained through systematic and ongoing training fosters successful innovation, while trust from pilgrims significantly affects business reputation and sustainability. This study affirms the synergistic integration of technology, regulation, human resources, and congregation trust, which constitute the pillars of innovation and umrah business success. The study results suggest directions for management to focus more on the enhancement of technology and human resources, and for the government to formulate pro-innovation policy regulations. This study also encourages the public to be more discerning in selecting a Umrah bureau to receive optimal and more trustworthy services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on member satisfaction at the Citra Abadi Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP). Service quality was assessed using five main elements: tangibles (physical evidence), Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. A qualitative approach, specifically a case study, was employed for data collection involving in-depth interviews with cooperative members and direct observation of the service process. Qualitative data analysis employed thematic coding to identify key patterns and insights. The results indicate that each service quality element significantly influences members’ satisfaction. Comfortable physical facilities, reliable services, high responsiveness, transaction security assurance, and empathy in member interactions play crucial roles in fostering member trust and loyalty. Despite the study's focus on a single cooperative, the findings suggest that improvements in facility quality, service reliability, staff responsiveness, transaction transparency, and empathy are essential for strengthening member relationships and enhancing satisfaction. The study also acknowledges limitations such as the focus on a single cooperative, which may limit the generalizability of the results. This study contributes to improving service management in savings and loan cooperatives and provides insights for enhancing their competitiveness in supporting members' welfare and local economies.
