Abstract

Asset and Liability Management (ALMA) in Islamic banking, the management of bank assets and liabilities to achieve a balance between profitability and risk. Using literature studies, this study identifies key elements of ALMA, such as policy setting, data collection, scenario analysis, liquidity management, gap management, and foreign exchange management. The ALMA framework is designed to maximize revenue and control risks such as financing risk, liquidity risk, pricing risk, and foreign exchange risk. ALMA allows banks to maintain balance sheet stability and face market changes more adaptively, supporting optimal financial performance.

Abstract

Academic burnout among madrasah students remains insufficiently examined, especially through participatory and culturally responsive approaches. Existing research tends to emphasize quantitative measurement or teacher-centered interventions. This study seeks to address this gap by integrating photovoice within a Participatory Action Research (PAR) framework and grounding it in the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) to explore and mitigate academic burnout. The research involved collaboration with two Guidance and Counseling teachers and ten students at a Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Pekanbaru. Data were collected through reflective writing, semi-structured interviews, photo elicitation, and participatory observation, and analyzed using thematic coding with methodological triangulation. The findings demonstrate that photovoice effectively exposes latent academic stress, strengthens teachers’ reflective practice, and promotes meaningful student engagement in counseling processes. Visual narratives—such as torn notebooks, clocks, and fatigue-related imagery—functioned as symbolic expressions of burnout that facilitated empathetic dialogue and informed more precise intervention strategies. This study contributes a novel model of student-led visual diagnostic practice within Islamic school counseling, aligned with TQM’s continuous improvement framework. The findings highlight the value of photovoice as a culturally relevant and sustainable method for strengthening student-centered burnout prevention and improving the overall quality of guidance and counseling services in madrasah settings.

Abstract

Pentingnya peranan sumber daya manusia bagi setiap organisasi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, untuk itu sumber daya manusia perlu memiliki skill atau keterampilan yang handal dalam menangani setiap pekerjaan, sebab dengan adanya skill yang handal maka secara langsung dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai dalam suatu instansi pemerintah adalah budaya kerja, dimana faktor tersebut sangat erat kaitannya dalam meningkatkan organisasi, sebab budaya organisasi merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan, Disiplin Kerja, Motivasi, Budaya Organisasi, Dan Kecerdasan Emosional terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Badan Kesatuan Bangsa Dan Politik Tanjungpinang. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Badan Kesatuan Bangsa Dan Politik Tanjungpinang yang berjumlah 53 orang yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling sensus. Data yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pengujian hipotesis secara parsial dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t, sedangkan pengujian secara simultan dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji F. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Gaya Kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai.. (2) Disiplin Kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. (3) Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. (4) Budaya Organisasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. (5) Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai dan variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan, Disiplin Kerja, Motivasi, Budaya Organisasi, dan Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai.

Abstract

This study addresses the growing need to integrate spiritual values into Islamic education within multicultural contexts, recognizing that motivation is a critical determinant of student engagement and achievement. The objective of the research is to analyze the influence of integrating spiritual values in Islamic Religious Education on students’ learning motivation. Employing a quantitative approach, the study adopted a cross-sectional survey design. Data were collected from 479 pesantren students aged 15–18 years, selected through purposive sampling based on academic level, comprehension of the survey instruments, and voluntary participation. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was applied to simultaneously test measurement and structural models, including gender moderation effects. The findings demonstrate that spiritual value integration exerts a positive and significant impact on learning motivation, while gender functions as a significant moderator, indicating that the strength of influence differs between male and female students. The study concludes that spiritual values can be operationalized as measurable predictors of motivation. Its scientific contribution lies in advancing psych pedagogical understanding, refining causal models in Islamic education, and providing evidence-based insights for inclusive, gender-sensitive pedagogical practices.

Abstract

This study aims to validate an Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy instrument for Islamic Education (PAI) students using Rasch analysis to evaluate its reliability, validity, item-fit statistics, and unidimensionality. The instrument was developed to measure the extent of AI literacy among prospective Islamic Education teachers. A cross-sectional survey design was employed, involving 64 students from a university in Riau, Indonesia. Participants completed an AI literacy instrument consisting of 85 items. The sampling technique used was quota sampling. Data were analyzed using the Rasch model with the aid of Winsteps software version 3.73. The results of the Rasch analysis indicated that the instrument demonstrated good reliability (α = 0.85), excellent item quality (0.94), and consistent respondent reliability (0.84). In terms of validity, the three dimensions of AI literacy were confirmed to possess unidimensional properties. The practical implication of this study lies in providing higher education institutions with a validated AI literacy instrument that can be used to assess the knowledge of future Islamic Education teachers. By employing Rasch analysis, this study contributes to enhancing the psychometric robustness of measurement tools, particularly in the context of assessing artificial intelligence literacy in Indonesia.
