Abstract

Cara pandang antroposentris menempatkan manusia untuk mengeksploitasi alam dengan mengabaikan keberlangsungan sistem ekologi. Penanaman nilai-nilai kearifan ekologis melalui budaya lokal masyarakat Cigugur merupakan salah satu upaya pewarisan nilai luhur untuk menjaga keseimbangan sistem ekologi khususnya bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Kuningan. Kajian utama penelitian ini adalah identifikasi nilai-nilai kearifan ekologis budaya lokal masyarakat Cigugur Kuningan dan bagaimana mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP N 2 Garawangi Kelas VII A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat adat Cigugur memiliki nilai-nilai kearifan ekologis yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar IPS meliputi nilai pelestarian lingkungan, mitigasi bencana, dan pola konsumsi ramah lingkungan. Nilai pelestarian lingkungan terdiri dari pola pertanian, penjagaan leuweung larangan, pelestarian mata air / cainyusu, serta nilai filosofis upacara Seren Taun. Nilai mitigasi bencana dan pola konsumsi ramah lingkungan terdapat dalam petuah/larangan yang masih digunakan sebagai pedoman kehidupan sehari-hari. Implementasi nilai kearifan ekologis budaya lokal masyarakat adat Cigugur dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP N 2 Garawangi kelas VII A menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Peserta didik memiliki antusiasme dan rasa ingin tahu mendalam terhadap budaya lokal masyarakat adat Cigugur untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kearifan ekologis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Penelitian ini mereko-mendasikan supaya dijadikan rujukan bagi pengembangan pembelajaran IPS berbasis budaya lokal di berbagai sekolah khususnya Jawa Barat.Kata kunci : Kearifan Ekologis, Budaya Lokal, Cigugur Kuningan, Pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

The objective condition of the institution regarding the need for department  professional services to students based on established quality standards. Higher education is not only seen as a center of knowledge, a center of research, and a center of community service, but also an institution that needs to compete to guarantee services to users in this case are students. The tight competition of tertiary quality and the demands of the community for quality that is oriented to the value of service users (customer value) ultimately pressures the organization to be able to respond quickly (responsiveness) including prioritizing student satisfaction which is currently used as a benchmark for excellence in higher education competitiveness . The education services of the Social Studies Study Program in this study are focused on the performance of the Head of Study Program, the performance of teaching lecturers, and the performance of administrative staff services. In connection with its function which is always related to students, the Study Program service is expected to realize quality education. However, this ideal condition is inseparable from the factual conditions in the field which shows that there are still some shortcomings of services that are complained of by students and requires further research.

Abstract

Research on brain based learning began intensive since the 1990s and mostly revolves around the teaching and learning process. The abundance of research on neuorsains has a profound effect on the speed of brain-based learning research. Meanwhile, research on history textbooks mostly takes the theme of historiography and minimal research on its use in learning. This is where the importance of research is brain based learning and social studies textbooks. Textbook research related to brain-based learning has been initiated by the team since 2013. This year's research, researchers will conduct further research on brain-based learning as the basis for making IPS comic textbooks. Based on the study of previous research findings, the application of Neuropedagogy in IPS textbooks in the form of comics includes: time line, a glimpse of info, historical lessons, behind characters, mind maps, historical caricatures, historical humor, historical mysteries, contemporary issues, if history, and memorizing strategies . The main limitation of this research problem is how is the application of brain-based learning in social studies text books VII class? This research uses a research and development approach model with the steps in this process referring to the form of a cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang Dampak Game Mobile Legends terhadap Pola Interaksi anak di Cigadung Kab, Kota bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, dan teknik wawancara. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemain mobile legends dan juga orang tua wali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dampak game online mobile legends lebih dominan adalah dampak negatif dan kurangnya dampak positif. Dampak tersebut di lihat dari perilaku anak yang sering bermain game online mobile legends dan meliputi aspek sosial dan psikis saran dalam penelitian ini adalah para orang tua harus lebih bijak lagi dalam mengatur dan lebih memperhatikan anak dalam mengunakan waktunya dalam bermain game online. Selain itu para orang tua juga harus mampu mengawasi serta mengontrol segala perilaku yang dilakukan oleh anak.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menggali keterampilan sosial dalam menerima dan menyampaikan informasi melalui media masa, salah satunya dalam bentuk Podcast. Podcast sebagai media pers bebas memberikan kesempatan para penggunanya untuk mengungkapkan ide, gagasan serta cerita tanpa batasan waktu. Penggunaan podcast mulai bergeser menjadi media klarifikasi, umumnya publik figur yang banyak memanfaatkan media podcast ini. Pendekatan yang digunakan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus terhadap podcast Denny Sumargo. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tahap observasi serta wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan bersama 2 narasumber terpilih dan sesuai dengan indikator yang ditetapkan. Analisis data mendeskripsikan dari hasil wawancara dan pengamatan video podcast Denny Sumargo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa podcast yang berisi mengenai permasalahan pribadi banyak diminati oleh netizen. Selain itu, podcast Denny Sumargo menjadi salah satu podcast paling dituju untuk mencari kebenaran informasi. Ekspresi sosial yang ditunjukan oleh publik figur sebagai narasumber di suatu podcast, sangatlah mempengaruhi penilaian netizen terhadap individu berdasarkan popularitasnya. Selain itu, keberadaan podcast dinilai dapat memberikan keuntungan tersendiri bagi pihak yang bersangkutan. Alasan podcast tersebut mendapat banyak viewers karena podcast tersebut menyajikan isu-isu kontekstual yang sedang ramai di masyarakat. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan masyarakat lebih bijak dalam menyikapi isu fublik figur melalui media podcast. Kata Kunci: Ekspresi Sosial, Keterampilan Sosial, Podcast, Publik Figur.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of the national anthem into social studies education. It is essential, considering that the coverage of IPS material is related to the fighting spirit of citizens. The article describes the relevance of the national anthem and the material in social studies learning. The article was prepared by utilizing 20 pieces of literature. The literature is devoted to studies relevant to the national anthem used in learning. The research results show that social studies education's relevance in integrating the National Anthem plants the seeds of lifelong civic responsibility. This study argues that once used only in classrooms, national anthems now serve as a guiding force, empowering students to contribute to their nation's ongoing narrative actively. The Indonesian national song "Dari Sabang to Merauke" examines its geographic and nationalist meaning. Using this song as a resource will increase meaningful social studies learning, including aspects of Indonesia's geography, history, and cultural diversity. This study identifies the impact of integrating the national anthem on student engagement, emphasizing the instillation of civic responsibility.

Abstract

Teacher creativity in teaching character education values is very important, especially in local contexts that are rich in cultural wisdom. This study aims to determine the creativity of social studies teachers in integrating character education values based on Bugis local wisdom into learning. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method at SMP Negeri 2 Makassar. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with social studies teachers, and document analysis related to learning based on Bugis local wisdom. The data source comes from SMP Negeri 2 Makassar which has a Bugis cultural background. The results showed that the creativity of social studies teachers in integrating character education values based on Bugis local wisdom into social studies learning is to use a variety of creative methods, such as the use of Bugis folklore, traditional simulations, research projects on local culture, the use of digital visual media, environmental contextual learning, and developing character attitudes and behaviors proved effective in this study. The conclusion is that social studies teachers play a key role in internalizing Bugis local wisdom values into learning. Therefore, it is important for schools and the government to continue to support the development of teachers' creativity in integrating local wisdom into the curriculum

Abstract

Digital natives grew up with the help of digital technology so they have a different learning style from other generations. Many educators face new challenges and have to solve problems related to learning adaptation New learning models and educational trends, reinforced by the use of information and communication technology, create a method for using new methods for active learning. Developing gamification through project learning in social studies learning is one thing that can be done. This research aims to see the implementation of gamification-based project learning in social studies learning. The research method used is through research and development and data collection methods through group discussions, observation and validating questionnaires The results of this research show that: First, the Gamification-Based Project Learning Model has a syntax that combines the main basic principles of Project learning and the principles of gamification learning, including determining learning objectives and game ideas, determining the big idea of the game, creating game scenarios, creating games through applications, produces products in the form of games that can be used in social studies learning.

Abstract

Research of STM (Science, Technology and Society) approach to social studies learning has not been developed much. So far, STM has been used more in science learning. This research was designed as a positive response in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which had a revolutionary impact on the education. Consistently integrated efforts are needed to develop science and technology-based learning innovations that are closely related to societal problems which are the subject of social studies. The research method used is a survey. The android application is used as a means to improve social studies learning practices in junior high schools, especially for online learning. Social studies learning activities ultimately lead to the 21st century 4C skills (Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Communication). Social studies learning is expected to not only equip students with knowledge, but also with the attitudes and skills that are qualified in the 21st century.

Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic some time ago, it had a major impact on human life in the world, including in education, one of which is the progress of using the internet in online learning through smartphones. This progress also brings convenience to build communication and show their identity to others so that individuals feel comfortable spending long periods of time using smartphones thus unwittingly causing phubbing behavior. This research was conducted to determine the effect of phubbing behavior on students' interest in learning in social studies learning in class IX of SMP BPI 1 Bandung. The approach used is a quantitative approach with survey methods. This research involved 84 students as samples using nonprobability sampling with saturated sampling techniques. The data collection technique used in this research was a questionnaire with scoring using a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing in this research uses simple linear regression analysis. The research results show a sig value. 0.032 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of phubbing behavior on students' interest in learning social studies. Furthermore, researcher obtained a calculated of -2.186, which means that there is an inverse (negative) influence between the two variables. This proves that the lower the phubbing behavior of students, the higher the students' interest in learning social studies.
