Abstract

The development of sharia banking in Indonesia has advances in information technology (IT) which have brought significant changes in the way sharia banks offer their products and services. This research discusses sharia banking in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative study using a liberal research approach by looking for reliable information from written sources, such as books, journals and websites. In the results of this research, E-Banking not only provides comfort but also convenience because the menus on internet banking can be used without having to have special skills, and is safe because internet banking is equipped with a layered security system and is equipped with a token (a tool that issues password numbers). which always changes every time you make a financial transaction). Internet Banking services have many features and provide convenience, comfort and security so that sharia banking services can run easily and efficiently with qualified bank security services, smooth and easy e-banking services are obtained by customers who use e-banking products, in Islamic transactions contain sharia contracts that are applied in the sharia financial institution industry such as: Murabahah Mudharabah, Mudharabah Muqayyadah, Wadiah, Musyarokah, Musyarakah Mutanaqisah, Salam, Istishna, Ijarah, Ijarah Muntahiyah bit Tamlik, Wakalah, Kafalah, hawalah, Rahn, Qordh.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of the national anthem into social studies education. It is essential, considering that the coverage of IPS material is related to the fighting spirit of citizens. The article describes the relevance of the national anthem and the material in social studies learning. The article was prepared by utilizing 20 pieces of literature. The literature is devoted to studies relevant to the national anthem used in learning. The research results show that social studies education's relevance in integrating the National Anthem plants the seeds of lifelong civic responsibility. This study argues that once used only in classrooms, national anthems now serve as a guiding force, empowering students to contribute to their nation's ongoing narrative actively. The Indonesian national song "Dari Sabang to Merauke" examines its geographic and nationalist meaning. Using this song as a resource will increase meaningful social studies learning, including aspects of Indonesia's geography, history, and cultural diversity. This study identifies the impact of integrating the national anthem on student engagement, emphasizing the instillation of civic responsibility.

Abstract

The fatwa of the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN MUI) plays a crucial role in addressing issues of default (failure to fulfill agreements) in sharia-based contracts. In Sharia financial transactions, default needs to be resolved fairly and in accordance with Islamic principles, which prohibit elements of riba (unjust enrichment), gharar (uncertainty), and zalim (oppression). (penindasan). The DSN MUI fatwa provides guidance on ta’widh or compensation as a form of recompense for the actual losses suffered by the aggrieved party, unlike fines which are more punitive or seek additional profit. Through this fatwa, DSN MUI encourages adherence to contracts, maintains the balance of rights and obligations, and ensures that the resolution of default is carried out without harming either party. The procedures in this research were carried out in stages, namely collecting library data, reading, taking notes, reviewing, gathering concepts or manuscripts, and then elaborating and explaining the collected data or texts related to the main discussion topic in this research. This article discusses the important role of the DSN MUI fatwa in creating transparency, justice, and adherence to Sharia principles in addressing default, as well as its impact on the integrity of Sharia financial transactions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Singapore is a secular government system, where every policy does not include religious elements, including education. However, the Singapore government is quite responsive in providing support for the sustainability of Islamic educational activities. This study aims to analyze the management and curriculum of part-time madrassas and also find out how the role of part-time madrassas in equipping Muslim children of various ages with secular education to understand and practice Islam as a way of life especially in facing the challenges of the times. This study offers an overview and look at the management, curriculum and role of part-time madrasas in Singapore. Using a qualitative method that includes a literature review and field study, the research is a combination of object research conducted directly at the research site, combined with literature research. Data was obtained through interviews with several parties involved in part-time education as well as research papers related to the basics of Islamic education in Singapore either in the form of books or journal articles, as well as other documents. The results show that the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) plays a major role in monitoring and managing the development of Islamic education in Singapore. Since the Muslim community in Singapore needs to display progressive characteristics and have a vision of a model community that creates a distinctive Singaporean Islamic thought, MUIS introduced the aL.I.V.E (Learning Islamic Values Everyday) Program curriculum established through SIES (Singapore Islamic Education System) for part-time madrassas. Abstrak Singapura adalah sistem pemerintahan sekuler, di mana setiap kebijakan tidak memasukkan unsur agama, termasuk pendidikan. Namun, pemerintah Singapura cukup responsif dalam memberikan dukungan bagi keberlangsungan kegiatan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen dan kurikulum madrasah paruh waktu dan juga mengetahui bagaimana peran madrasah paruh waktu dalam membekali anak-anak Muslim dari berbagai usia yang berpendidikan sekuler untuk memahami dan mengamalkan Islam sebagai pandangan hidup terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman. Penelitian ini menawarkan gambaran dan melihat manajemen, kurikulum dan peran madrasah paruh waktu di Singapura. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang mencakup tinjauan literatur dan studi lapangan, dimana penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan gabungan antara penelitian obyek yang dilakukan secara langsung di lokasi penelitian, dipadukan dengan penelitian kepustakaan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan beberapa pihak yang terlibat dalam pendidikan paruh waktu serta penelitian makalah yang berkaitan dengan dasar-dasar pendidikan Islam di Singapura baik dalam bentuk buku atau artikel jurnal, serta dokumen lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Majelis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) berperan besar dalam memantau dan mengelola perkembangan pendidikan Islam di Singapura. Karena komunitas Muslim di Singapura perlu menampilkan karakteristik progresif dan memiliki visi model komunitas yang menciptakan pemikiran Islam khas Singapura, MUIS memperkenalkan kurikulum Program aL.I.V.E (Learning Islamic Values Everyday) yang dibentuk melalui SIES (Singapore Islamic Education System) untuk madrasah paruh waktu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mapping of the development and direction of Analysis Curriculum Islamic Education research in publications indexed by Scopus. This study used bibliometric analysis techniques to explore all publications indexed in Scopus' database of Analysis Curriculum Islamic Education from 2004 to 2023. The data obtained were analyzed using Excel and R/R-Studio. VOSviewer is used to perform visual analysis of the simultaneous occurrence of keywords and document citations. The author found 209 publications that fit the function, subject, and criteria set. The results of this study show an annual growth rate of 8.84%, with the most publications on Analysis Curriculum Islamic Education in 2021. Indonesia is the country that contributes the most publications with affiliations from Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry. Avirsais, O. become the most prolific writer in the theme Analysis Curriculum Islamic Education. The bibliometric analysis performed was limited to Scopus data. Other national and international databases were not taken into account in the study. This study presents a brief overview of the literature accessible to researchers working in education and provides recommendations for future research.

Abstract

Pengawasan dan pengendalian bank syariah merupakan aspek kunci yang menunjang stabilitas dan keberlanjutan operasional lembaga keuangan berbasis syariah di Indonesia. Artikel ini membahas peran Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), Dewan Pengawas Syariah (DPS), serta sistem pengendalian internal dalam memastikan kepatuhan terhadap prinsip syariah dan regulasi. Melalui kajian literatur dan analisis regulasi terbaru, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya mekanisme pengawasan eksternal dan internal disebutkan, termasuk audit syariah dan implementasi teknologi finansial dalam konteks pengawasan, dalam mengatasi berbagai tantangan operasional dan meningkatkan kepercayaan publik. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan sistem pengawasan terintegrasi dengan penerapan teknologi pengawasan (regtech) berkontribusi terhadap stabilitas sistem keuangan syariah dan perkembangan perekonomian nasional berbasis syariah.

Abstract

Bank syariah merupakan lembaga keuangan yang beroperasi berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip syariah Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kegiatan usaha bank syariah dan mengidentifikasi perbedaannya dengan bank konvensional di Indonesia. Melalui kajian literatur dan regulasi terkait, diperoleh gambaran bahwa bank syariah menegaskan prinsip keadilan dan kemaslahatan dalam aktivitasnya, dengan menghindari unsur bunga dan riba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan usaha bank syariah meliputi penghimpunan dana melalui akad wadiah dan mudharabah, penyaluran dana melalui berbagai akad seperti murabahah, mudharabah, dan musyarakah, serta penyediaan jasa keuangan berbasis fee. Perbedaan utama dengan bank konvensional terletak pada landasan filosofis, operasional berbasis akad syariah versus bunga, dan mekanisme bagi hasil versus pendapatan tetap. Dengan dukungan regulasi dan peningkatan literasi keuangan syariah, bank syariah berpotensi menjadi kekuatan utama dalam pembangunan ekonomi berbasis syariah yang berkelanjutan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Asset and Liability Management (ALM) merupakan aspek kritis dalam pengelolaan risiko perbankan syariah yang memerlukan pendekatan khusus mengingat karakteristik unik prinsip syariah. Penelitian ini menganalisis kerangka kerja ALM di bank syariah Indonesia, mengidentifikasi tantangan implementasi, dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan. Menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis regulasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa bank syariah Indonesia telah mengembangkan framework ALM yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam hal standardisasi instrumen, keterbatasan produk hedging syariah, dan kompleksitas struktur modal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlunya pengembangan instrumen keuangan syariah yang lebih beragam, penguatan sistem informasi manajemen risiko, dan harmonisasi regulasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas ALM di perbankan syariah Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the five-day concept in religious and science learning which aimed to create synergy between the two disciplines in supporting the academic development and character of students. The concept of five days in this school integrated religious and science lessons with the aim of strengthening students' understanding of the two fields of science holistically. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method, with data collection techniques through deep-interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the five-day concept had succeeded in creating a balanced learning environment between religious values and scientific knowledge, despite challenges in adjusting the curriculum and teaching approaches. The synergy between religious and science learning in this school had a positive impact on the spiritual and intellectual development of students, as well as fostering a critical and creative attitude in facing life's problems. This research was expected to contribute to the development of a learning model that integrates religious values with scientific knowledge in Islamic schools.

Abstract

Singaporeans are ethnically diverse with Chinese, Malay, Indian, Caucasians population. Forty-two percent of Singaporeans are foreigners working or studying there. Fifty percent of workers are from foreign countries. With such a background, Singapore faces various problems for its children, including moral problems. This research uses a qualitative field approach. Researcher recorded learning activities at the Madrasah Pendidikan Asas Daru Ashomiddin Service's (PADA) Singapore. The data was then descriptively and qualitatively analyzed. The findings of this study indicate that strengthening moral education intelligence and its relationship with philosophy and psychology can produce  a capable generation for today's global era. Strengthening Islamic moral intelligence that is integrated with the philosophy of science is a solution to the moral issues that Singoperean society now face.
