Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang terintegrasi yang disiapkan untuk menangani keseluruhan proses manajemen Rumah Sakit, mulai dari pelayanan diagnosa dan tindakan untuk pasien, medical record, apotek, gudang farmasi, penagihan, database personalia, penggajian karyawan, proses akuntansi sampai dengan pengendalian oleh manajemen. Sistem Informasi Manajemen saat ini merupakan sumber daya utama, yang mempunyai nilai strategis dan mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting sebagai daya saing serta kompetensi utama sebuah organisasi dalam menyongsong era informasi ini. Seiring dengan perjalanan kegiatan operasional rumah sakit, dijumpai banyak sekali kendala yang menimbulkan permasalahan yang mengganggu aktifitas sehari-hari. Karena sebagian aktifitas masih dilakukan secara manual, otomatis mempersulit dan memperlambat petugas rumah sakit untuk melayani pasien, baik yang ingin berobat, rawat inap, rawat jalan, instalasi gawat darurat, instalasi bedah, rekam medis, dan layanan-layanan lainnya yang diperuntukkan untuk masyarakat. Selain masalah tersebut, Rumah Sakit juga kesulitan dalam mengatur akuntansi keuangannya (menyiapkan laporan keuangan). Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kami sebagai tim pengembang sistem informasi berbasis web menawarkan solusi untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah yang sudah disebutkan di atas. Solusi tersebut berupa Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan harapan dapat membantu dalam proses pengadministrasian aktifitas operasional rumah sakit dan pendokumentasian transaksi keuangannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyeleksi calon penerima beasiswa KIP dari Pemerintah di Universitas Imelda Medan dengan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dengan pembobotan metode Rank Order Centroid (ROC). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menilai kelayakan calon penerima beasiswa Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP). Hal ini dapat mengatasi permasalahan dalam proses seleksi manual yang membutuhkan banyak waktu dan menangani banyaknya pendaftar dengan cara yang lebih efisien. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka, sehingga dengan teknik model ini memungkinkan penilaian yang lebih objektif dan sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah di tetapkan. Sehingga, hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diperoleh mahasiswa yang disetujui untuk mendapatkan beasiswa KIP sebanyak 2 mahasiswa dengan nilai terbaik mencapai 0.8289

Abstract

Advances in information technology at this time have an important role in helping human activities or work. The role of information technology is very influential in various aspects of life, both for individuals and organizations / agencies. Many organizations or agencies have utilized information technology to provide services for their business activities. However, not all business organizations have utilized the use of information systems and technology as a supporting medium for their business activities. One of them is in the field of hospitality. Hotel Deli Indah is one of the hotels located in Deli Serdang district. This hotel information is needed by the community as a place that provides several things. Such as lodging, food and drinks. However, with the website of parties who need information about the hotel, simply open the hotel website that is online and real time. To overcome these problems, we offer solutions to overcome various problems mentioned above. The solution is in the form of a Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application. This system was developed with the hope that it can help the hotel in terms of updating information will be easier to do where later the school information system can run faster than the current system and of course to parties who need information can directly search for hotel information by directly opening the hotel website. The objectives of PKM in general are: Can help the community in general, to disseminate information quickly, efficiently and effectively. Along with the development of Information Technology, the website no longer just offers product value, but goes to the back office system (management of office systems / agencies / schools) online and real time. The purpose of the Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application is to assist hotels in the process of public information services, thus providing support for better school data processing. Target to be achieved: Providing updated information media services through internet media to the wider community about Hotel Deli Indah.

Abstract

The program titled "Pemuda Cerdas Digital: Pelatihan Desain Grafis dengan Canva" aims to equip young individuals with essential graphic design skills using Canva, a user-friendly design tool. In the digital age, visual communication plays a crucial role in personal branding, marketing, and effective messaging. However, many youths lack access to affordable and accessible design tools and training. This training program provides a hands-on approach to learning graphic design, focusing on practical skills and creative techniques using Canva. Participants are introduced to various design elements such as layout, typography, and color theory, enabling them to create visually appealing materials including social media graphics, posters, and flyers. The program's objective is to enhance participants' design skills, foster creativity, and empower them to effectively communicate ideas through visual content. The training also aims to bridge the gap between traditional graphic design education and the need for accessible, practical tools for the younger generation. Evaluation of the program indicates a significant improvement in participants' ability to produce professional-quality designs and a greater confidence in their design skills. The program highlights the importance of integrating digital tools into youth education to prepare them for future opportunities in a visually-driven world.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of computer technology usage in improving the effectiveness of learning at Universitas Imelda Medan. Based on data collected through surveys and interviews with lecturers and students, it was found that the use of computer technology significantly affects students' learning outcomes. The majority of respondents acknowledged that computer technology, such as the use of educational software, e-learning platforms, and multimedia applications, helps them better and more quickly understand the subject matter. Survey results showed that 85% of students feel more engaged and motivated to learn when using computer technology. Additionally, 75% of lecturers reported that computer technology allows them to teach more effectively, particularly in presenting complex material through visual and interactive means. However, challenges such as limited computer facilities and internet connection issues have become major obstacles in implementing this technology. The study concludes that while computer technology provides many benefits in enhancing learning effectiveness, improvements in facilities and training for lecturers are needed to maximize the use of technology in education

Abstract

This research analyzes the issue of digital transformation in hospitals in North Sumatra, characterized by information system fragmentation, application duplication, and inconsistent integration of clinical and administrative data, which impacts operational efficiency and service speed. This research develops an enterprise architecture using the TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) approach thru the TOGAF ADM (Architecture Development Method) architecture development method to achieve alignment between business, data, application, and information technology (IT) architectures. This research method was conducted descriptively, with primary data collected thru interviews and observations of the service process, as well as secondary data obtained from Indonesian hospital datasets and relevant supporting documents. The research objects consist of 10 hospitals with B, C, and D classes. The design process was carried out thru seven ADM phases, aiming to produce an architectural blueprint and implementation recommendations. The evaluation was conducted thru gap analysis and descriptive statistics to assess the level of system integration before and after the implementation of TOGAF ADM. Data shows that the average integration increased from 65% to 77.2%, representing a 12.2-point increase, with variations ranging from 5 to 15 points. In B-class hospitals, the average integration increased from 80% to 92.3%. For C-class hospitals, the increase was from 62% to 76%, while D-class hospitals showed an increase from 50% to 57.5%. The highest recorded increase was 15 points in some hospitals, while the lowest increase found was 5 points in D-class hospitals. Hospitals with larger capacities showed an improvement in operational efficiency between 20% and 25%, which was related to improvements in electronic medical record (EMR) integration and hospital management systems. The main recommendations of the research include phased and modular implementation thru cloud storage, strengthening data governance, and Application Programming Interface-based integration to reduce costs and improve interoperability.

Abstract

The increasing consumption of coffee has driven the need for a fast and consistent coffee quality assessment process. The quality of specialty coffee is generally determined through cupping tests based on sensory attributes; however, this method still relies heavily on panelist subjectivity and requires considerable time and cost. This study aims to develop an automated system for specialty coffee quality classification by integrating the Random Forest algorithm and Forward Chaining inference logic. Random Forest is employed to perform initial classification and identify the importance level of sensory attributes, while Forward Chaining functions as a rule-based system to validate and explain the classification results. The study utilizes 207 coffee sensory profile data samples with 11 attributes based on the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) cupping standards. The experimental results show that the Random Forest model achieves optimal performance with 100% accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, with Total Cup Points identified as the most dominant attribute. The integration of these two methods produces an accurate, consistent, and explainable coffee quality classification system in accordance with SCA standards.

Abstract

Kehadiran mahasiswa merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam proses pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi karena berpengaruh langsung terhadap pemahaman materi, keterlibatan akademik, dan capaian hasil belajar. Tingkat ketidakhadiran yang tinggi dapat menjadi permasalahan serius apabila tidak diidentifikasi sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi keputusan kehadiran mahasiswa menggunakan metode Naive Bayes dengan pendekatan Backward Reasoning guna menghasilkan model prediksi yang tidak hanya akurat, tetapi juga mudah diinterpretasikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan eksperimen komputasi. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 25 mahasiswa Program Studi Sistem Informasi Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Variabel yang digunakan meliputi semester, tingkat pemahaman materi, metode pengajaran dosen, beban tugas, kondisi kesehatan, motivasi belajar, kebiasaan belajar, jarak tempat tinggal ke kampus, kondisi cuaca, dan waktu pelaksanaan perkuliahan. Data diproses menggunakan algoritma Multinomial Naive Bayes dengan pembagian data sebesar 80% untuk data latih dan 20% untuk data uji. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model memperoleh tingkat akurasi sebesar 80% dengan nilai F1-score sebesar 0,80 serta performa yang stabil berdasarkan pengujian 5-Fold Cross Validation. Selanjutnya, pendekatan Backward Reasoning digunakan untuk menelusuri faktor-faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap hasil prediksi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kesehatan dan motivasi belajar merupakan faktor dominan dalam menentukan keputusan kehadiran mahasiswa dibandingkan faktor eksternal seperti cuaca dan jarak. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk membantu pihak akademik dalam melakukan intervensi dini guna meningkatkan tingkat kehadiran mahasiswa
