Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by problems in learning Mathematics, namely, the lack of varied and interesting learning media on fractional material. This study aims to design puzzle media with the help of Pointpoints on fractions in elementary school. To find out the feasibility of powerpoint-assisted puzzle media on fractions in elementary school. The method used is Research and Development (RnD) which consists of 5 stages, namely (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. The data obtained in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis data. Based on the analysis of the research data, the results showed that the feasibility level of the learning media developed after validation was declared feasible. The results of the media expert's validation were declared very feasible by obtaining an "Yes" answer assessment of 13 out of 13 questions. The results of the material expert validation were declared very feasible by obtaining an "Yes" answer assessment of 10 out of 10 questions. And the assessment of the results of the teacher's response received an assessment of the answer "Yes" as many as 10 out of 10 questions. So the puzzle media with the help of powerpoint on fractions in elementary school is categorized as Very Appropriate. Keywords: Learning Media, Puzzle, powerpoint, fractions.

Abstract

Scouting is an extracurricular activity that has become part of the education system in Indonesia. Learning modules in the extracurricular activities of the Cub Scouts are developed based on the Scout curriculum that has been established by the Indonesian Scout Movement. However, in reality, at SD Negeri 104267 Pegajahan it is still found that teachers who make scout learning modules are not in accordance with the needs in designing effective and quality modules which can cause learning modules that are less interactive, less interesting, or less targeted. In this study, researchers used a development research design or better known as Research and Development (R&D). The Research & Development method is a research method used to produce a particular product, and test the effectiveness of the product. This research was designed with the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE model consists of five development steps, namely: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) implement, and (5) evaluate (Tegeh, 2014: 42) The results of this study refer to research and development which has five stages. However, researchers only use three stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, and the development stage. The module teaching materials developed are valid and ready to use with a score of 77.65% from module experts and 77.33% from material experts with each criterion “Valid, can be used but needs minor revisions” so that the module can be used or applied in extracurricular activities later.

Abstract

This research has two main objectives: (1) to develop an assessment instrument that focuses on higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in the context of GCD (Greatest Common Divisor)  and LCM (Least Common Multiple) topics, and (2) to assess the validity of the assessment instrument. This research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the 4D model originally introduced by Thiagarajan in 1974. The 4D model consists of four stages: define, design, development, and disseminate. However, in this study, the focus is limited to the first three stages, up to the development stage. The research subjects involve expert validators in the fields of content, assessment, and learning. Data collection is carried out using a questionnaire. The result of this research is the development of an assessment instrument that emphasizes higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in the context of GCD and LCM topics. The validation by content experts, assessment experts, and language experts has shown that the product is rated as good and highly suitable for use.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is a mathematical study related to culture. In the Malay culture located in Labuhan Deli, there is a historical building, the Al-Osmani Grand Mosque, which contains shapes and motifs that can be associated with mathematics learning and serve as material for developing teaching materials. The objective of this research was to explain the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the development of ethnomathematics-based teaching materials centered on the Al-Osmani Grand Mosque to enhance the understanding of plane figures in fourth-grade elementary school students. The researcher used the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to address the issue. The validation stage involved validation by experts (material experts, media experts, and language experts), with feasibility assessments conducted using validation sheets. The trial phase involved 30 students (10 students in the medium group trial and 20 students in the large group trial) and one teacher to assess effectiveness and practicality. Practicality was assessed using teacher and student response questionnaires, while effectiveness was measured through a concept understanding test. The research results indicated that the teaching materials' validity went through two stages: in stage 1, a score of 4.2 was achieved, placing it in the "Good" category, and in stage 2, a score of 4.4 was achieved, placing it in the "Very Good" category. The practicality of the teaching materials received a score of 88%, which is in the "Very Practical" category, and the teacher response questionnaire scored 92% in practicality, also in the "Very Practical" category. The effectiveness of the teaching materials scored 63%. Therefore, the teaching materials can be consivdered valid, effective, and practical.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to produce a teaching module, analyze its feasibility and see teacher and student responses to a teaching module based on traditional Banjar cakes for understanding geometric concepts. This research design uses development research using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The subjects of this research were fifth grade students at SD Negeri 104261 Sukajadi. The tools used in this research were material expert validation questionnaire sheets and teacher response and student response questionnaire sheets. Based on the results of the assessment carried out by the material expert validator, the results of the material expert assessment were 90% with the criteria "Very feasible" so that it could be declared suitable for testing. The teacher response assessment results were 95% with the criteria "Very Appropriate", while the student response results were 97% with the criteria "Very Appropriate". The results of the scores on the evaluation questions in the module received and average score of 90.Thus, it can be concluded that the teaching module product developed is suitable for use and has received a good response from teachers and students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan matematika siswa kelas V SDN 060788 Medan Maimun melalui penggunaan gambar dan alat peraga dalam pembelajaran materi bangun ruang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 17 siswa kelas V. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi modul ajar, lembar observasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, pada siklus I hanya 47,05% siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), sementara pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan signifikan menjadi 88,24%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gambar dan alat peraga mampu membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep bangun ruang yang bersifat abstrak, serta meningkatkan keaktifan dan motivasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, media konkret sangat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar guna menciptakan suasana belajar yang efektif dan menyenangkan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran mind mapping berbantuan aplikasi canva pada IPAS materi indonesiaku kaya budaya di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan prosedur pengembangan ADDIE yang dilakukan dengan 3 tahap. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket atau kuisioner yang diberikan kepada beberapa penelaah ahli, yaitu penelaah ahli materi, penelaah ahli media, penelaah ahli Bahasa, dan guru kelas IV. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli materi I sebesar 84%. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli materi II sebesar 100%. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli media I sebesar 84%. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli media II sebesar 86%. Skor validasi yang didapatkan dari penelaah ahli bahasa sebesar 90%. Skor validasi ahli pembelajaran oleh guru sebesar 94%. Dari skor tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran mind mapping berbantuan aplikasi canva pada IPAS materi indonesiaku kaya budaya di kelas IV SD yang dikembangkan sudah “sangat Valid/Sangat Layak” untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder that affects an individual's ability to communicate, socialize, and adjust to his or her environment. Children with ASD often face barriers to building social relationships and exhibiting contextual behaviors. One of the widely used approaches to address this challenge is the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) method, which focuses on reinforcing positive behaviors through learning principles. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ABA method in improving social skills and adaptive behavior of 1st grade ASD students of SD Panca Budi Medan. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that ABA interventions had a positive effect on improving communication skills, participation in social activities, and reducing negative behaviors in ASD students. In addition, the successful implementation of ABA depends on the active involvement of teachers in the learning process as well as parental support. The study also found obstacles such as limited parental understanding and lack of teacher training related to the ABA method. ABA is an effective method if it is carried out on an ongoing basis with collaborative support between schools and families.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of developing a project-based teaching material on the theme of ecosystems that is suitable for use in the learning process of Grade V students at SD Nurhikmatika. This development research employed the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages; however, the researcher only applied the first three stages, ending at the Development stage. The project-based teaching material on the ecosystem theme was developed using the Canva application. The validation results for the feasibility of the developed material showed that the teaching material expert gave a feasibility score of 87.6, the subject matter expert provided a score of 85, and the teacher’s response yielded a score of 88. Based on the score criteria table, the validation results from all three experts indicate that the developed project-based teaching material is classified as "Highly Feasible" for use in the learning process of the ecosystem theme in Grade V at SD Nurhikmatika.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Augmented Reality-based learning media assisted by Assemblr Edu to improve students' conceptual understanding in mathematics subjects. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study was conducted at SDN 108239 Tanjung Mulia. Research data were obtained from material and media validation, as well as from teacher response questionnaires and students' conceptual understanding tests.The results showed that the Augmented Reality-based learning media assisted by Assemblr Edu was declared feasible by two validators media and material experts. The material validation yielded a feasibility percentage of 100%, while media validation reached 83.3%. Additionally, teacher responses to the media reached 100%, falling into the "highly feasible" category. The validity test results for the students' conceptual understanding test showed that the calculated r value was greater than the table r value, and the significance value was less than 0.05. With r table at n = 24 and α = 0.05 being 0.404, the instrument was deemed valid.Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the development of Augmented Reality-based learning media assisted by Assemblr Edu is overall feasible for use in the school learning process to improve students' conceptual understanding in mathematics.
