Abstract

The tradition in this study refers to customs, beliefs, habits, and other things inherited in descent. These inherited customs encompass a variety of cultural values that include customs, social systems, knowledge systems, languages, arts, belief systems and so on. The aim of this research is to find out the traditional shape of the barak boy pancar that exists in the area of Kuantan Rantau and the cultural values that exist in it. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection is done through observations, interviews, documentation and literature studies. The tradition of bararak son pancar is one of the forms of tradition that exists in Malay society which contains very high cultural values. Cultural values become guidelines of behavior for a society of one generation to the next. This process makes cultural values continue to be preserved and inherited by society downward.

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan mengeksplorasi implementasi supervisi pembelajaran sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran mahasiswa dalam program Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu. Supervisi pembelajaran dianggap sebagai faktor penting dalam pengembangan profesional guru, termasuk mahasiswa PPL. Penelitian ini memiliki pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menilai efektivitas supervisi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa PPL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi yang dilakukan secara teratur memiliki dampak signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pengajaran mahasiswa PPL, terutama dalam hal pengelolaan kelas, teknik pengajaran, dan penilaian siswa. Dengan memberikan umpan balik konstruktif, supervisi pembelajaran memungkinkan mahasiswa PPL untuk merefleksikan dan memperbaiki strategi pengajaran mereka, yang berujung pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This study reveals that changes in education governance in the coastal areas of Indragiri Hilir Regency occur substantially through the implementation of participatory and collaborative models involving educational institutions, communities, and local government. This paradigm shift is characterized by three key innovations: modification of academic schedules adapted to the economic cycles of fishermen and coconut cultivation; integration of local maritime wisdom values into the curricular system; and strengthening of synergy among educational institutions, students' families, and coastal communities. The main driving elements include increased community expectations toward education, livelihood diversification, and expansion of digital access in coastal areas. Constraints encountered include limited educational facilities, volatility of fishermen families' income, and high student mobility affecting learning continuity. These changes yield positive impacts on improving academic participation, curriculum relevance to local realities, and efficiency of educational institution management. Nevertheless, the sustainability of this transformation requires education policies responsive to the socio-economic characteristics of the coastal communities of Indragiri Hilir.
