Abstract

Choosing a Qur’anic method of learning is very important for the younger generation who are trying to be able to read the Holy Book correctly. Researchers in this case are interested in studying alternative religious education, namely Inter-Maghrib-Isha Al-Quran Learning as an effort to eradicate Koran illiteracy for children and teenagers. The research aim is to: (1) Describe the typology of Al-Quran learning methods used in recitation between Maghrib-Isha at TPQ Al-Ittihad and TPQ As-Sa'adah Muara Tebo, (2) describe the impact of using the method on students' success in each TPQ. To achieve the above objectives, descriptive qualitative research approach is used. Data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation. And checking the data validity is by using triangulation. The results of the research are: (1) Al-Quran learning at TPQ Al-Ittihad uses the Iqro' method, one of the well-known methods used in various recitations between Maghrib and Isha throughout the country. Meanwhile, TPQ As-Sa'adah prefers to use the Tilawati method which is no less famous in Indonesia. (2) The two methods used in the two TPQs have so far had a positive impact, marked by the students' ability to recognize Al-Qur'an letters, students’ confident, and teachers’guidelines in learning quality improvment. Abstract

The direction of education in Islam is to give birth to human beings Insan Kamil. Insan Kamil is a human being who has noble morals and avoids mazmumah morals. The urgency of this research is to formulate the concept of mazmumah morals so that it is easier to make references in recognizing mazmumah morals. This research uses the book Hidayah al-Salikin fi Suluki Maslak al-Muttaqin by Abdus Samad al-Palimbani as the object of study. The focus of the research is the fourth chapter with the title Ijtinab al-Ma'ashi al-Bathinah. The research approach is qualitative with library research methods. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model. The results of the research were that ten mazmumah morals were identified which were very suitable to be used as a formulation of the concept of mazmumah morals in Islamic religious education. The ten mazmumah morals put forward in the book are Syarh al-Tha'am, Syarh al-Kalam, Ghadhab, Hasad, Bukhul/Hubbulmal, Hubbuljah, Hubbu al-Dunya, Takabbur, 'Ujub, and Riya.

Abstract

The curriculum is an important tool in the learning process that should provide guidance and direction for educational performance. Islamic religious education as an effort to internalize fundamental, social, and moral values, urgently needs an effective and efficient curriculum. This research is a Library Research with literature studies related to the Islamic religious education curriculum and Independent Learning. The data analysis technique used is content analysis by categorizing data so that it can be formulated based on the problem under study. The collected data is analyzed by analytical descriptive methods. The approach used is a qualitative approach where the data is in the form of narratives or sentences, and this data is processed systematically to produce conclusions. This research is also a type of historical-philosophical research. The results showed that, first, the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in the vortex of independent education became a challenge in itself, where the rapid development of science and technology, changes in education ministry regulations that hinted at independent education, and the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0. Second, the implementation of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in Independent Learning education must be adjusted to include the values of science and technology, social values, culture, and the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0. especially after the Covid 19 pandemic which has changed the paradigm of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

ABSTRAKShafwat al-Tafasir adalah sebuat karya dibidang Tafsir yang ditulis oleh salah seorang mufasir kontemporer, Syeikh Muhammad Ali al-Shabuni. Kitab ini telah tersebar ke berbagai negara termasuk Indonesia. Salah satu sisi yang ditampilkan dalam kitab ini adalah aspekkebahasaan, baik berupa isytiqaq, balaghah ataupun lainnya. Hal tersebut memiliki daya tarik tersendiri bagi setiap peneliti kebahasaandan tafsir, karena hal tersebut sangat bermanfaat dalam mengaplikasikan berbagai teori kebahasaan melalui contoh-contoh ayat dalam Al-Quran.Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk melihat hal tersebut, khusus dalam surat Ad-Dhuha dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa Surah AdDuha setidaknya mengandung aspek balaghah pada empat hal; thibaq, tasybih, jinas naqis dan sajak murashsha’, sehingga dapat disimpulkan secara umum bahwa Syeikh al-Shabuni memiliki corak pemikiran dalam bidang linguistik. ABSTRACTShafwat al-Tafasir is a work in the field of Tafsir written by one of the contemporary commentators, Sheikh Muhammad Ali al-Shabuni. This book has spread to various countries including Indonesia. One of the sides presented in this book is the linguistic aspect, either in the form of isytiqaq, balaghah or others. This has its own charm for every researcher of language and interpretation, because it is very useful in applying various linguistic theories through examples of verses in the Al-Quran. This research is focused on looking at this, specifically in Surah Ad-Dhuha using a literature study approach. This study illustrates that Surah Ad-Duha contains at least four aspects of balaghah; thibaq, tasybih, jinas naqis and murashsha' poetry, so that it can be concluded in general that Sheikh al-Shabuni has a style of thought in linguistics.

Abstract

This study attempts to find the basic principles proposed by Guessoum in harmoniously combining religious knowledge and modern science without sacrificing the essence of both. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study type of research. Primary data sources are quoted from Nidhal Guessoum's thoughts through several relevant books and journals. At the same time, secondary data is quoted through online media searches such as Sinta, Scopus, Google Scholar, DOAJ, Garuda, Mendeley, Emerald Insight, ScienceDirect, and other media. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques with literature studies from various literature and media, such as books, journal articles, etc. Data is collected and categorized, inventoryed, and analyzed critically. The data analysis technique used is content analysis, which includes descriptions and implications. Content analysis provides description, verstehen, interpretation, holistic and reflection. The study results show Guessoum's traces of thought, monuments to integrating modern Islamic education, emphasize an inclusive and comprehensive approach. Guessoum stresses the importance of engaging students in an active learning process and allowing them to develop a deep understanding of Islamic teachings. Guessoum's contributions to modern Islamic education cover many aspects, from integrating religion and science to applying Islamic values ​​in social and global contexts. Guessoum emphasized the need for the integration of faith and science. Guessoum believes Islamic education teachesligious doctrines but includes humanitarian, scientific, cultural, justice, equality, and peace values.

Abstract

This training aims to enhance the Arabic Language Education students skills at FKIP Universitas Jambi in professional preaching. The challenges of preaching today are increasingly complex, and young preachers are expected to convey Islamic messages effectively and relevantly. The training involved 30 students and included stages of preparation, socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The materials covered public communication techniques, preaching strategies, and the use of digital media. During the training, students had the opportunity to practice directly in front of audiences and through social media. The result showed a significant improvement in communication skills, both in public delivery and in the use of digital preaching platforms. Additionally, students produced learning media such as tutorial videos and posters that can serve as aids in preaching activities. This activity also has the potential to enhance the quality of preaching in the community. With the skills acquired, it is hoped that students will become professional young preachers capable of positively contributing to the dissemination of Islamic values.

Abstract

  In the view of Islam, environmental conservation is not only a duty of humans as stewards of the Earth but also a foundation for the community's overall welfare. This article elucidates how the concept of quality welfare for the community in Islam is closely related to environmental conservation, outlining several vital aspects. Firstly, the article highlights the relationship between environmental health and cleanliness with the physical welfare of the community, as well as the importance of sustainable resource management to support the community's economic needs. Second, it emphasizes the importance of maintaining the balance of natural ecosystems to prevent disasters and social conflicts. Thirdly, the article discusses the positive impact of environmental conservation on the spiritual welfare of the community, as reflected in the respect for nature as Allah's creation. Fourthly, it describes how environmental conservation efforts can enhance social awareness and strengthen community solidarity. Thus, the article concludes that environmental conservation in Islam is not only about preserving nature physically but also about creating holistic welfare for the community, encompassing physical, economic, spiritual, and social aspects.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen khutbah competencies through professional khatib e-module training for students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Jambi. The program was motivated by students’ limited khutbah skills, such as low self-confidence, poorly structured sermon texts, and inadequate mastery of rhetoric and fiqh of khutbah. The training employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, emphasizing active participation of students in planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed significant improvements in knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Students became more capable of composing structured khutbah texts, delivering them with persuasive rhetoric, and performing with greater self-confidence. This program also contributed to the achievement of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy and the university’s Key Performance Indicators (IKU). Thus, the professional khatib e-module is proven effective as an innovative training medium to develop professional young khatibs who are academically competent and socially impactful.ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kompetensi khatib melalui pelatihan e-modul khatib profesional pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab FKIP Universitas Jambi. Latar belakang program ini berangkat dari fenomena lemahnya keterampilan khutbah mahasiswa, seperti kurang percaya diri, penyusunan teks khutbah yang belum terstruktur, serta minimnya penguasaan retorika dan fikih khutbah. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang menekankan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap mahasiswa. Mahasiswa mampu menyusun teks khutbah yang lebih sistematis, menyampaikannya dengan retorika persuasif, serta menampilkan rasa percaya diri yang lebih tinggi. Program ini juga mendukung capaian Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dan Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU). Dengan demikian, e-modul khatib profesional efektif sebagai media pelatihan inovatif untuk mencetak khatib muda yang profesional dan berdaya guna.
