Abstract

Every decision is made based on an analysis of the information obtained. Therefore, the information obtained must be high quality information, such as complete and easy to access. Difficulty in accessing information can cause information asymmetry between the party providing the information and the party receiving the information. Differences in information that occur can cause disputes between the two parties. In order to avoid information asymmetry, transparency of high-quality information is needed. PKM partner is SMA Santo Kristoforus II. The problem faced by SMA Santo Kristoforus II is the needs of understanding for students of the importance of information in decision making, so that caution is needed in sorting information, and vice versa, in disseminating information. The solution provided is to provide training on information asymmetry, information transparency, and quality information concept. The training was conducted face-to-face and equipped with a lemon market theory game that was carried out at the beginning of the training session. After the game session ended, it was continued with an explanation of the material. The material presented was the concept of information asymmetry, information transparency, and characteristics of quality information. The training activities went well and smoothly. The result of PKM activity is that the students understand the concept of information asymmetry and the importance of transparency and caution in filtering and disseminating information. Abstract

Parental attachment is one of the key factors influencing the development of adolescent independence, particularly among adolescents who live away from their families. This study aims to examine the relationship between parental attachment and independence among adolescents living away from home in the Faculty of Psychology. The respondents in this study were adolescents aged 17–21 years who lived apart from their parents. The research sample consisted of 233 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, which yielded a correlation coefficient of r = 0.266 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The results indicate a positive and significant relationship between parental attachment and independence among adolescents living away from home. This means that the higher the level of parental attachment perceived by adolescents, the higher their level of independence, and vice versa. These findings can serve as a basis for designing emotional support programs for adolescents living away from home to enhance independence through strengthening parent–child relationships.
