Abstract

This writing uses the literature search method by twenty-one electronic databases, namely Google Scholar and Google Book. Research from journals published between 2009-2022. Understanding students' personality types can help identify in solving student problems because each student has its own personality. This writing aims to know and understand students' personalities based on the Hippocrates-Galenus theory. By knowing the characteristics and personality types of each student, individual planning is carried out to help students solve problems.

Abstract

Democratic parenting has been the focus of research in child development psychology over the past few decades. The writing of this article uses a literature study method derived from various articles that are in accordance with the title and problems discussed. This article aims to investigate the impact of democratic parenting on children's personality development. The results of this article show that democratic parenting that involves children in decision-making, provides emotional support, and instills democratic values has a positive impact on children's personality development. Children who come from families with democratic parenting tend to show higher levels of trust, good communication skills, and positive social attitudes. In addition, they also tend to have the ability to manage conflict in a healthier way. These findings prove that democratic parenting can positively shape children's personalities and potentially help them become more independent individuals who contribute positively to society.

Abstract

Tes bakat adalah instrumen penting dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik. Peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling sangatlah penting dalam proses ini, dimulai dari pemilihan tes yang sesuai, administrasi tes, hingga interpretasi hasil dan pemberian konseling yang bermanfaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan tes bakat dalam mengidentifikasi kemampuan peserta didik di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis artikel dari berbagai sumber yang dapat diakses melalui Google Scholar dan Google Book dari tahun 2002 hingga 2023. Penerapan tes bakat dalam pendidikan merupakan langkah strategis untuk mendukung perkembangan peserta didik secara optimal, memastikan bahwa setiap individu memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk mencapai kesuksesan sesuai dengan bakat dan kemampuan yang dimiliki.

Abstract

AbstractThe Guidance and Counseling (BK) profession has a crucial role in helping students develop their potential. This research aims to explore and describe the role played by counselors in supporting students' personal and academic growth. Qualitative research methods were used by conducting in-depth interviews with a number of school counselors. Findings show that the counselor's role includes providing individual and group counseling services, identifying student needs, providing emotional support, and providing career guidance. Apart from that, counselors also act as a liaison between students, parents and schools. The implication of this research is the importance of strengthening the role and support of the guidance and counseling profession in the education system to ensure the holistic development of students' potential.Key word: The role of the guidance and counseling profession in students' professional development

Abstract

Abstrak   Studi ini meneliti peran ibu dalam menjaga keseimbangan emosional keluarga, dengan fokus pada fungsi-fungsi utama ibu dan pengaruhnya terhadap regulasi emosi anggota keluarga. Metode studi melibatkan penggabungan artikel dari berbagai sumber, termasuk Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris dari Google Scholar dan Google Book. Tujuan penelitian adalah memahami peran ibu dalam keluarga serta pengelolaan emosi oleh ibu. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ibu sangat berperan dalam membentuk keseimbangan emosional keluarga melalui pengasuhan, perhatian, penengah konflik, dukungan emosional, dan komunikasi terbuka. Tantangan yang dihadapi ibu meliputi tuntutan peran ganda, pemenuhan kebutuhan emosional anggota keluarga, dan stigma sosial. Solusi untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut meliputi self-care, komunikasi terbuka, pembagian tugas, mendapatkan dukungan, dan menetapkan batas. Kesimpulannya, peran ibu dalam menjaga keseimbangan emosional keluarga sangat penting, dan strategi yang tepat diperlukan untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam menjalankan peran tersebut.Kata kunci: Peran ibu, Keseimbangan Emosional, Keluarga.
