Abstract

The case of the Rempang community occurred due to the lack of legal protection for their land which was then labeled as squatters. Due to misunderstandings between local communities and the government, this creates quite serious conflicts due to territorial struggles. The RempangGalang conflict caused a decrease in the number of visitors to tourist areas on the island. The decline in the number of visitors has caused the local economy to decline. In fact, the chaos that occurred between the government and the Rempang community made visitors afraid to go on tours to tourist areas around Rempang-Galang.

Abstract

Early childhood discipline is the obedience character possessed by early childhood to apply rules or norms. The present study aims to find out the teachers’ strategy and the realization of the implementation of the teachers’ strategy to develop early childhood’s discipline in early childhood education in Kawasen, Banjarsari, Ciamis. This study uses a qualitative method under the Phenomenological approach. The results of the study show that there are two strategies carried out by the teachers: habituation and giving rewards strategies. The habituation strategy is carried out by the teachers, such as: the teachers motivate the early childhood; the teachers guide the early childhood by directing and inviting to behave disciplinedly; the teachers provide an understanding to do discipline; and the teachers instill the values of discipline character to the early childhood. Then, the giving rewards strategy is carried out by the teachers, such as: the teachers give star stickers; the teachers give praise to the early childhood who behave discipline; the teachers invite highs, so that the early childhood feel happy when they behave discipline.

Abstract

Kebugaran jasmani penting karena berhubungan dengan kesehatan, pertumbuhan yang disertai dengan perkembangan tubuh khususnya pada siswa smp berusia 13-15 tahun, namun hal ini belum diketahui kebanyakan anak-anak remaja bahwa physical fitness/kebugaran jasmani sangat penting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa-siswi di SMP Mutiara Harapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, serta menggunakan sampel penelitian dengan nonprobalitity sampling dengan sampling jenuh dengan jumlah sampel/subjek siswa-siswi berjumlah 63 siswa dengan 28 siswa dan 35 siswi. Tes penelitian ini ialah Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI) serta memakai koefesiensi validasi instrument untuk kategori remaja/adolecents. Hasil penelitian dari 63 siswa-siswi menunjukkan kategori baik sekali 0% (0 siswa), baik 7,9% (5 siswa-siswi), kategori sedang 80% (51 siswa-siswi), kategori 11,1% (7 siswa-siswi), dan kurang sekali 0% (0 siswa). Dengan mempertimbangkan hasil yang sudah diuaraikan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kebugaran jasmaniSMP Mutiara Harapan masuk termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan dan memiliki mean/rata-rata kebugaran jasmani yang cukup.

Abstract

This research was conducted referring to the theoretical elements of development communication, while the practical techniques used were not considered. The purpose of this study is to describe the conditions and problems faced by the community in Timor Tengah Selatan Regency (TTS), especially those who carry out people's weaving business and analyze the development communication that occurs in the TTS Regency community. Qualitative methods are used to interpret real-world social problems, including people's behavior, perceptions, and experiences. This study used secondary data. Researchers use dissertations, scientific journals, the internet, and data from related agencies to gather this data. Furthermore, the authors conducted direct interviews with a group of people's weaving craftsmen under the guidance of the Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives, and SMEs in the TTS Regency. This study found that development communication in an area has not yet led to empowerment. On the other hand, the dynamics of power between the elderly and the younger generation will continue to be a hallmark of society. Therefore, development communication must be carried out to facilitate the communication structure of different local cultures, and to encourage empowerment not only for parents but also for the younger generation.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca pemahaman merupakan salah satu keterampilan dasar yang diperlukan untuk menunjang efektivitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Kemampuan ini dapat memperluas pengetahuan dan keberhasilan peserta didik dalam belajar. Peserta didik yang menguasai kemampuan membaca pemahaman dapat menyerap informasi dan menguasai materi pelajaran dengan lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik sebelum diterapkan model scramble pada pembelajaran, kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik setelah diterapkan model scramble pada pembelajaran, dan pengaruh model scramble terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik kelas IV SDN 3 Banjaranyar. Pendekatan kuantitatif diterapkan pada penelitian ini melalui metode eksperimen dengan desain pre-eksperimental tipe one group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest yang memuat soal tes kemampuan membaca pemahaman, dengan 28 peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian. Skor posttest meningkat secara signifikan dibandingkan pretest berdasarkan hasil analisis, sehingga model scramble layak dijadikan alternatif metode pembelajaran. Temuan ini juga mengindikasikan peningkatan motivasi belajar serta keaktifan peserta didik di kelas, sehingga guru dapat melakukan evaluasi secara menyeluruh untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman peserta didik pada bacaan. Penambahan interaksi dan diskusi selama kegiatan pembelajaran turut meningkatkan efektivitas serta pemahaman peserta didik secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of storytelling methods of the stories of the Prophets and Messengers on the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at RA Miftahul Hidayah, Cibeureum Village, Banjar City. The research method employed is an experimental design with a quasi-experimental two-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests conducted on two groups: the experimental group, which received the storytelling treatment, and the control group, which did not receive the treatment. The results showed that the average cognitive ability related to the stories of the Prophets and Messengers before the storytelling method was applied reached 83.89%, while after the application of the method, it increased to 98.89%. Data analysis revealed a significant difference in cognitive abilities between the experimental and control groups. These findings indicate that the use of the storytelling method of the Prophets and Messengers' stories has a positive effect on improving the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the conditions and problems faced by the people in South Central Timor (TTS) Regency, especially those who do people's weaving businesses and to analyze the development communication that occurs in the weaving group assisted by the Trade, Industry and MSME Office of TTS Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with an interpretive approach. Furthermore, the author conducted direct interviews with a group of people's weaving craftsmen under the auspices of the Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives and SMEs in TTS Regency. This study found that development communication in an area has not led to empowerment. On the other hand, power dynamics between parents and young people will continue to be a feature of a society. Therefore, development communication must be carried out to facilitate different local cultural communication structures, in order to encourage empowerment not only for parents but also for the younger generation.

Abstract

A game is a tool functions to develop various aspects of early childhoods’ development. One of games is the snakes and ladders which can develop the early childhoods’ cognitive ability. This study aims to determine the development on the early childhoods’ aged 5-6 years cognitive ability through the use of the snakes and ladders game. This study employs qualitative research method under descriptive approach. The findings of this study show that the snakes and ladders game is beneficial to develop the early childhoods’ cognitive ability. The evidence is proved by the early childhoods’ response that through playing the snakes and ladders game they are able to recognize the symbols of numbers, know and memorize numbers from 1 to 56 that is written in the board of snakes and ladders game, recognize various types of colors, shapes, and understand the characteristics of the animals contained in the snakes and ladders game. In conclusion, the snakes and ladders game can be an effective game to develop the early childhoods’ cognitive ability, besides that the game makes them feel happy to play.

Abstract

Belerang memiliki berbagai manfaat yang signifikan baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun industri, namun pemahaman masyarakat lokal mengenai manfaat dan penggunaannya seringkali masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan manfaat belerang melalui strategi branding dan edukasi. Kami mengembangkan sebuah buku yang dirancang khusus untuk masyarakat lokal dan konsumen, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran mereka tentang belerang. Buku ini mencakup informasi tentang asal-usul belerang, cara penggunaannya dalam berbagai sektor, serta manfaat kesehatan dan lingkungan. Selain itu, buku ini juga dilengkapi dengan strategi branding yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan belerang sebagai produk yang bernilai tinggi. Melalui pendekatan ini, kami berharap dapat membangun kesadaran yang lebih baik dan mendorong penggunaan belerang yang lebih luas dan bijak.
