Abstract

Minimnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai dampak negatif  pembangkit listrik yang memanfaatkan bahan bakar fosil dan energi terbarukan menjadi alasan diselenggarakannya kegiatan PPM ini untuk tujuan edukasi, serta mensosialisasikan teknologi yang bernilai manfaat untuki masyarakat berupa instalasi energi surya. Penerangan  Jalan Umum Tenaga Surya (PJUTS). Berdasarkan hasil survei, fasilitas penerangan umum di pintu masuk desa Gondowangi Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang sangat sedikit sehingga aktivitas masyarakat  pada  malam hari kurang maksimal. Tujuan dari kegiatan PPM ini adalah menyediakan sistem PJU berbasis sel surya untuk mengakomodasi kegiatan Masyarakat pada malam hari. Ada dua hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan PPM ini, yaitu mengedukasi masyaraat mengenai energi terbarukan dan efisiensi penggunaan energi guna mengurangi dampak buruk lingkungan akibat pembangkit listrik fosil. Kegiatan ini merupakan Pembangunan berkelanjutan. Selain itu, penyediaan lampu PJUTS sangat membantu masyarakat dalam beraktivitas di malam hari dan  menciptakan kondisi yang lebih kondusif di masyarakat.

Abstract

Conventional motorcycle batteries, including wet and maintenance-free types, suffer from limited lifespan, sulfation issues, and high maintenance requirements. This study proposes a LiFePO4 battery pack as a superior alternative, integrating a real-time monitoring system for enhanced performance tracking. Compared to conventional batteries, the developed system offers longer cycle life, improved thermal stability, and reduced maintenance. The battery pack consists of LiFePO4 cells (3.2V 6Ah) arranged in a 4-series 1-parallel configuration, delivering a 12V 6Ah output while maintaining compatibility with standard motorcycle battery dimensions. Experimental testing validates the system’s ability to monitor current, voltage, and temperature parameters effectively. The integration of a data logging system further ensures long-term reliability and optimization of battery performance. This research contributes to advancing motorcycle battery technology by enhancing durability, safety, and real-time performance monitoring.

Abstract

The prevalent manual method of replacing ceiling lamps, which often involves climbing on unstable furniture, poses significant safety risks, including potential falls, electrocution, and other severe injuries. This common practice underscores an urgent need for safer and more efficient lamp maintenance solutions in both domestic and commercial settings. This research aims to mitigate these inherent dangers by developing and upgrading conventional ceiling lamp changers into a semi-automatic system. The primary objectives are to enhance the safety, speed, and overall ease of the lamp replacement process, thereby effectively minimizing the risk of user injury. The proposed methodology involves designing a semi-automatic ceiling lamp changer by integrating a control switch mechanism that enables remote rotation of the lamp holder. This innovative approach will facilitate the safe removal and installation of lamps without direct manual contact or the necessity of climbing. Concurrently, comprehensive product cost planning and market-driven pricing strategies will be conducted to ensure the device’s affordability and widespread community acceptance. The successful development of this semi-automatic ceiling lamp changer is anticipated to provide a significantly safer, faster, and more convenient alternative for lamp replacement. This remote-operated design is expected to substantially reduce injury incidents associated with current manual methods. By ensuring affordability and market compatibility, this innovation aims to achieve broad community adoption, ultimately contributing to safer environments for lamp maintenance.

Abstract

Desa Kepuharjo memiliki wilayah yang berbatasan dengan jalan provinsi dengan arus lalu lintas kendaraan sepeda motor, mobil, dan moda angkutan lain yang ramai. Dekat dengan lokasi wisata dan merupakan jalur alternatif menuju Kota Batu maupun Kota Surabaya. Kondisi cukup ramainya lalu-lalang orang dan kendaraan tersebut memberikan keuntungan bagi penaikan kondisi perekonomian masyrakat sekitar sekaligus memberikan potensi meningkatnya kerawanan tindak kejahatan, kerawan terjadinya kecelakaan, kebakaran, bahaya-bahaya lainnya. Sehingga dibutuhkan instalasi sistem keamanan berupa pemasangan IP CCTV dan pelatihan untuk memberikan peningkatan pemahaman kepada warga untuk mengenali dan memanfaatkan teknologi baru yang dapat meningkatkan peran serta warga untuk dapat berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan keamanan, kenyaman lingkungan sekaligus mampu memeberikan data rekaman kronologis suatu kejadian untuk kebutuhan penganalisaan lanjutan menjadi sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Dengan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keamanan di lingkungan Desa Kepuharjo.

Abstract

Masjid adalah tempat ibadah bagi umat Muslim, yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan berbagai aktivitas keagamaan, terutama salat (sholat) berjamaah. Selain sebagai tempat beribadah, masjid juga sering berfungsi sebagai pusat kegiatan sosial, pendidikan, dan dakwah dalam komunitas Muslim. Di dalam masjid, umat Muslim melaksanakan ibadah wajib seperti salat lima waktu, salat Jumat, serta kegiatan keagamaan lainnya seperti pengajian, ceramah, dan acara sosial. Secara umum, masjid bukan hanya tempat ibadah, tetapi juga pusat kebersamaan, penguatan iman, serta penyebaran ilmu dan ajaran agama Islam dalam masyarakat. Wilayah RT 44 RW 10, Kelurahan Kepuharjo, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang sedang melakukan pembangunan masjid. Dalam proses finalisasi pembangunan dibutuhkan sistem instalasi audio yang baik dan berkualitas. Metode yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut yaitu melakukan observasi dan analisis spesifikasi pada peralatan sound sistem yang sudah terpasang. Hasil dari analisis sistem audio tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan sistem audio untuk sound dalam ruangan. Pemasangan audio memungkinkan pengurus masjid untuk menyampaikan pengumuman dan informasi dengan jelas kepada jamaah, serta memfasilitasi komunikasi yang lebih baik selama berbagai kegiatan di masjid. Sehingga dengan sistem tata suara dan instalasi audio di masjid bukan hanya meningkatkan kenyamanan ibadah, tetapi juga memastikan komunikasi yang lancar dan pengalaman spiritual yang lebih baik bagi seluruh jamaah.

Abstract

Learning in class found that lecturers did not give students the opportunity to think creatively in solving math problems. Learning is still centered on the teacher so that communication is still one-way resulting in teacher dominance. The research objective resulted in the implementation of the case method in mathematics learning to improve the creative thinking skills of D4 Electronics Engineering students in solving mathematical problems. This type of research is experimental by using data collection documentation, questionnaires, observations and tests. The research was conducted in class 1B in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 24 students discussing the Linear Equation System material. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, completeness test, comparative test, and n-gain test. The results showed that the results of the validation of the research instrument were 4.11 in the good category. Individual completeness tests meet the minimum completeness criteria, students' creative thinking skills in case method group are higher (81.56) than expository learning (70.05). Abstract

Thin films, characterized by small-dimensional materials on a substrate formed through sequential deposition of ionic/molecular/atomic materials, have gained significance in various industries. An emerging method, Arc Plasma Deposition (APD), is gaining attention for its effectiveness in minimizing environmental pollution. This research explores the potential of APD, an environmentally friendly technique, in coating materials, particularly copper, at a laboratory scale. The objective is to introduce a cost-effective solution for material deposition, addressing the industrial need for efficient and eco-friendly coating processes. A laboratory-scale prototype for coating materials, specifically utilizing copper metal, is introduced and tested. The APD process is conducted in an atmospheric free-oxygen chamber, where plasma is generated. The deposited copper is analyzed concerning the deposition time, providing insights into the efficiency of the APD technique. The laboratory-scale prototype demonstrates the feasibility of using APD for coating materials. The results indicate the potential of APD in efficiently producing thin films, making it a promising alternative for industrial applications.
