Abstract

This research aims to identify the tourism potential of Galang Island. The assumption underlying this research is that the development of a Tourism Village area can increase the overall tourism attractiveness of Galang Island and provide economic and social benefits for the local community. This research uses a case study approach because it is in accordance with the nature of research that centers on observing specific phenomena and contexts so that researchers can collect data thoroughly through observation, interviews, and document analysis related to the development of the Tourism Village area on the island. This research found that Galang Island has significant tourism potential with community support, but the challenges of infrastructure and economic empowerment still need to be overcome and require further research for tourism diversification and collaboration with the private sector.

Abstract

Penelitian membahas bagaimana dampak dari social media marketing (X1), service quality (X2) terhadap purchase decision pada Alluneed Indonesia Batam. Penelitian ini memakai populasi konsumen Alluneed Indonesia di Kota Batam. Penelitian ini memakai kuesioner berbasis web melalui Google Form untuk mengumpulkan data dari 100 responden memakai metode purposive sampling. Penelitian yang sedang dilakukan merupakan penelitian berorientasi pada data kuantitatif, serta analisis data memakai uji analisis regresi multi-linear. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwasanya social media marketing memberikan pengaruh positif beserta signifikan pada keputusan pembelian, dengan nilai thitung senilai 5.279 yang lebih besar dari nilai t tabel 1.985. Begitu pula dengan kualitas layanan, yang juga memberika pengaruh positif serta signifikan pada keputusan pembelian, dengan nilai thitung sebesar 10.702 yang juga lebih besar dari nilai t tabel 1.985. Selain itu, kedua variabel tersebut secara bersamaan memberikan dampak yang menguntungkan dan penting pada keputusan untuk membeli, seperti yang diperlihatkan nilai F hitung sebesar 204.771 yang melebihi nilai Ftabel 3.09.

Abstract

Wokee is a fintech application that was established in 2017. Nevertheless, company entities persistently pursue innovation and expansion by incorporating features and advantages that can be fully utilised by KB Bukopin customers. The public's need for convenient financial services and the gradual shift of transactions to the digital domain have given rise to several financial enterprises that are actively expanding their digital operations. This study investigates the operations and activities of PT Bank Bukopin KCU Nagoya Branch. The research utilised a national sample of approximately 100 respondents, obtained through the WOKE survey. The researchers utilised data processing software tools, specifically SPSS Version 25. The research findings demonstrated a direct and substantial impact of service quality on consumer satisfaction. The customer experience has a substantial impact on consumer satisfaction. The quality of service and customer experience have a simultaneous impact on customer satisfaction at Bank Bukopin KCU Nagoya Batam branch.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the financial performance of banks in generating profitability during the national economic recovery. Profitability is the ability of a company to create maximum profit efficiently and effectively. Profitability is also a benchmark for assessing a bank. This study aims to analyze the influence of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Operating Costs and Operating Income (BOPO) and Profitability as factors that influence BUMN Banks conducting Initial Public Offering (IPO) policies for the 2019-2019 period. 2021. This study also examines Return On Assets (ROA) as a mediating variable in the research model. The sample selection method used in this study was a purposive sampling method with a total of 4 state-owned banks that met the criteria. The type of data used is secondary data and cross sectional data analysis data and the Interaction Moderating Test with the help of Statcal software. The conclusion from this study is that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) have a positive effect on Return On Assets (ROA) while BOPO has a negative effect on Return On Assets (ROA). The Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a positive effect on Return On Investment (ROI) while the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and BOPO have a negative effect on Return On Investment (ROI). On the other hand, Return On Assets (ROA) is unable to mediate the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and BOPO to Return On Investment (ROI).

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Namun, UMKM masih menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam aspek pengelolaan keuangan dan legalitas usaha, khususnya di wilayah Kepulauan Riau yang memiliki keterbatasan akses terhadap pelatihan dan pendampingan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan teknis kepada pelaku usaha mikro pemula di Kepulauan Riau dalam hal pencatatan keuangan sederhana dan pengurusan legalitas usaha. Melalui pendekatan Project-Based Learning (PBL), mahasiswa Politeknik Negeri Batam mendampingi para pelaku UMKM dalam menyusun pencatatan transaksi harian serta mengurus dokumen legalitas seperti Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB), Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP), dan sertifikasi halal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 80% peserta mampu menerapkan pencatatan transaksi harian, 70% dapat menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana, dan 75% berhasil mengurus legalitas usaha melalui platform Online Single Submission (OSS), yang berdampak pada peningkatan akses terhadap pembiayaan formal. Selain itu, program ini turut mendorong perubahan pola pikir peserta menuju pengelolaan usaha yang lebih profesional. Meskipun demikian, diperlukan pendampingan lanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan implementasi. Program ini memiliki potensi untuk direplikasi di wilayah lain guna mendukung pemberdayaan UMKM yang lebih kompetitif dan berkelanjutan, serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

The research study examined the influence debt policy, profitability, company performance, and investment decisions on the value of enterprises within the manufacturing sectors which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 into 2022. We included 15 companies in the sample and conducted the analysis using multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The findings indicated that the debt policy (DER) had a significant negative impact on firm value, evidenced by a t count of -3.178 and a significance level of 0.002. The impact of profitability (ROE) on firm value is notably positive, as evidenced by a t amount of 9.110 and a significance level 0.000. The company performance, measured by ROA, had a significantly negative impact on enterprise value, evidenced by a t count of -0.3288 and a significance level 0.002. In the meantime, investment decisions (CAPBVA) do not significantly influence enterprise value, as indicated by a t count of 1.991 and a corresponding significance level. This study offers investors and company management a deeper understanding of the elements that contribute to firm value in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keputusan investasi mahasiswa Gen-Z dengan menerapkan pengetahuan keuangan, pelatihan pasar modal dan persepsi risiko serta minat investasi sebagai variable intervening. Variable yang diterapkan dalam kajian ini berhubungan dengan landasan Theory of Planned Behvior. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari populasi mahasiswa yang telah mendaftarkan diri sebagai investor pada suatu lembaga sekuritas, dan data tersebut diperoleh melalui metode survey online. Pengolahan serta analisis data dilaksanakan dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengetahuan keuangan, pelatihan pasar modal, dan minat investasi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan investasi. Tetapi, pada persepsi risiko tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat investasi.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of social media advertising and content marketing on the brand awareness of the Kampus Merdeka MSIB program at Infinite Learning. The research uses a quantitative approach with non-probability sampling through purposive sampling techniques. A total of 160 students who had been exposed to Infinite Learning's advertisements or content on Instagram participated as respondents, and data were collected through an online questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the SEM-PLS method. The results indicate that social media advertising has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness, while content marketing has a positive but not significant effect. Although the individual effects differ, the combination of both strategies shows a significant influence on increasing brand awareness. These findings suggest that the synergy between advertising and content strategies on social media is more effective than applying them separately in building brand awareness for Infinite Learning’s MSIB program.

Abstract

This research aims to design an effective and targeted training program to uncover the skill and knowledge needs of Culinary SMEs in Batam City. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive research approach, with Culinary SMEs in Batam City serving as the informants. The research was conducted from August to November 2023, involving Bizhub Polibatam, Faculty Members, and Project Based Learning students from Department of Business Management. The research findings will be utilized as a reference by Bizhub Polibatam in developing relevant training programs to enhance the competitiveness of Culinary SMEs in Batam, thereby contributing positively to local economic growth. The pressing training needs identified for Culinary SMEs in Batam include Marketing and Digitalization Training, as well as Financial Management, preferably conducted in-person through seminars or workshops with a duration of 1-3 days.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are vital in the Indonesian economy, especially in Batam City. The culinary sector, as one of the drivers of the creative economy, needs help in terms of business management and business legality. Bizhub Polibatam as a Center of Excellence in Business & Community Service under Polibatam to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem and support the growth of MSME business foundations, especially in Batam Island. This community service activity aims to assist culinary MSME players in Batam City in designing business models using the Lean Canvas method and facilitating making Business Identification Numbers (NIB). This program involves 20 culinary MSMEs in Batam City. The activity results showed an increased understanding of MSME players about business models and the importance of business legality, with 100% of participants successfully assisting in making NIB and creating a Lean Canvas model in their business.
