Abstract

This study was conducted to examine and analyze the forms of innovation-based educational leadership in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Contemporary leaders are required to adapt and transform their leadership approaches in response to technological advancements within the educational institutions they lead. The method employed in this study was a systematic literature review through the examination of various scholarly sources, followed by an analysis of innovative leadership, digital transformation in education, and the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational management. The findings indicate that innovation-based educational leadership in the AI era requires leaders to possess five main competencies: strong digital literacy skills, adaptive capabilities, a growth mindset, cross-sector collaboration skills, and data-driven decision-making abilities. The leadership model developed in this study integrates transformational, distributive, and technological leadership approaches to create an educational ecosystem that is responsive to various changes. Educational leaders are expected to foster a culture of innovation by utilizing technology, particularly AI, as a supporting medium for decision-making processes and the improvement of learning quality. The implications of this study provide a conceptual framework for educational leaders in designing adaptive and innovative leadership strategies in the AI era.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) memberikan peluang bagi perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, khususnya mata kuliah yang memerlukan simulasi, eksperimen, dan analisis data seperti Mesin Konversi Energi. Artikel ini menganalisis permasalahan implementasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah (Problem-Based Learning/PBL) yang berbasis TIK, terutama terkait pemahaman mahasiswa, keterbatasan infrastruktur digital, pemanfaatan platform online seperti YouTube, dan kesiapan kompetensi dosen. Metode kajian dilakukan melalui studi literatur serta analisis konseptual terhadap implementasi PBL berbasis TIK di pendidikan tinggi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TIK dalam PBL menghadapi hambatan teknis, pedagogis, dan manajerial, sehingga diperlukan penguatan kompetensi mahasiswa dan dosen, perbaikan infrastruktur, dan manajemen pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur. Artikel ini menawarkan rekomendasi manajerial untuk meningkatkan efektivitas PBL melalui penguatan kapasitas digital, optimalisasi sumber belajar daring, dan pendampingan teknologi.

Abstract

Nutritional knowledge is often assumed to shape food-related decisions, yet its translation into daily menu choices among Culinary Arts students remains underexamined. This study aims to determine the level of nutritional knowledge, identify the tendency of healthy menu choices, and analyze the relationship between nutritional knowledge and healthy menu choices among students of the Culinary Arts Concentration, Department of Family Welfare Education, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Manado. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The population comprised 17 active students, all of whom were recruited through total sampling. Data were collected using a nutritional knowledge test and a healthy menu choice questionnaire, and analyzed using the Kendall's Tau-b correlation test. Results showed that 16 students (94.1%) had good nutritional knowledge and 1 (5.9%) had sufficient knowledge, while healthy menu choices were categorized as good in 4 students (23.5%) and sufficient in 13 students (76.5%). The Kendall's Tau-b analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of -0.030 with a significance value of 0.883 (p > 0.05), indicating no statistically significant relationship between the two variables. It is concluded that although the students possess good nutritional knowledge, this knowledge is not necessarily reflected in their healthy menu choices.
