Abstract

Financial satisfaction has changed since the Covid-19 pandemic since many people experience health problems, lose their jobs, until psychological disorders. This study aims to determine the factors driving income earners' financial satisfaction before and during the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia. The variables studied are religiosity, ethnicity, and health level related to financial activities. This research method uses a quantitative approach to estimate the factors that influence financial satisfaction using multiple linear regression and comparison tests between financial satisfaction before and during the Covid-19 outbreak. There are 159 respondents in this study. The research result shows that religiosity and the ethnic had no significant effect on financial satisfaction before and during the Covid-19 outbreak. Yet, the health level significantly impacted financial satisfaction before and during the Covid-19 outbreak. Health level is an essential factor so that a person can work very well to generate income and obtain financial satisfaction. The respondents’ financial satisfaction before and during the Covid-19 is significantly different. Respondents also have more financial anxiety during the Covid-19 outbreak. The research implication is that the Indonesian people must consider financial planning that suits with financial conditions. Due to the more suitable financial planning, it will increase Indonesian financial satisfaction even during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Abstract

Information and communication technology has revolutionized the banking sector and at its peak during the Covid 19 pandemic, most transactions can be carried out without the need to visit a bank and using mobile banking applications. In Indonesia, there are two banks that are most popular in using m-banking, m-BCA which is managed by a private bank and Livin by Mandiri which is managed by a state-owned company. The aim of this research is to analyze whether there are differences of trust, service quality and perceived risk on customer satisfaction in private and government managed m-Banking. The research method uses a quantitative approach based on data collected through online surveys. There are 180 active m-Banking customers with generation Z and Millennial demographics, students and productive workers. The results show that the factors that influence customer satisfaction in using m-Banking lie in the aspects of service quality and trust, while perceived risk has no effect. Furthermore, differences in the influence of m-banking application service quality determine customer satisfaction. Where, m-BCA customers are relatively more satisfied because the service is in accordance with the promises, transaction speed, security, attractive visual appearance, the application is more responsive and easier than the Livin by Mandiri. For generation Z and millennials, the use of digital banking applications is more influenced by the application's ability to meet transaction needs rather than threat factors such as the speed of computing personal data, cyber-crime and bank system errors.

Abstract

Puhsarang Village is one of the religious tourism destinations in Kediri District that has the uniqueness of inculturation (adaption of church values and culture) as well as a place for meditative encounters of religious people throughout the region. The pandemic has hit the existing tourism sector and resulted in a decrease in small business income around tourist attractions. Some of the businesses affected include souvenir shops, wood sculpture, food stalls, and ‘bumbu kacang’ peanut paste production. In an effort to support Puhsarang's economic potential, the community service team carried out two main activities, namely product improvement assistance and designing social media utilization and marketplace management for local businesses. Secondly, promoting the art of karawitan as a unique characteristic of the Puhsarang tourism village. The empowerment method is carried out collaboratively with the PALAR approach, starting from the process of discussing business problems to the stage of reflecting on the business going forward. The assistance provided by the CED Team is expected to be a forum to support Community Cultural Tourism through the participation of local communities in exploring the potential of religious tourism and cultural inculturation that characterizes Puhsarang and ultimately can foster economic stretching around the village of Puhsarang.

Abstract

This study examines the export potential of women-led Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia's processed food sector by identifying key challenges and proposing targeted strategies for growth. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research surveyed 191 SMEs and collected qualitative insights through Focus Group Discussions and in-depth interviews with women entrepreneurs. An analytical framework was employed to classify their export readiness. The findings confirm that while these SMEs possess significant export potential, they are constrained by interconnected barriers, including limited access to finance, insufficient knowledge of international markets, low digital literacy, and socio-cultural obstacles. A key contribution of the study is the classification of SMEs into three tiers of export readiness: "having export potential," "on the right track," and "not ready to export." This framework reveals the need for tailored support mechanisms rather than generic, one-size-fits-all solutions. The paper addresses a notable gap in research on the internationalization of women-led SMEs within a major developing economy. By applying a unique analytical framework to empirical data, it moves beyond a general discussion of barriers by offering specific and actionable policy recommendations tailored to the needs of women entrepreneurs in a sector critical for their economic empowerment.
